Acclaimed Chef Stefy DeVita's ever-evolving menu of seasonal dishes, handmade pasta, & wood fired pizza has drawn rave reviews locally and nationally. Our Italian-inspired cocktails, wine list, & non-alcoholic alternatives have been carefully curated to complement our culinary offerings. Bar Dough is a service included restaurant; a 20% service fee will be added to all final bills. 100% of the service fee is distributed to the staff in an equitable manner. ***Please note we reserve both low and high top seating, and do our best to accommodate seating requests whenever possible***

    We were not exactly greeted, more like grudgingly showed to our reserved table. It took our server a very long time to come to our table. When we wanted to order appetizers we were told that we had to order everything together. I told our server twice that I needed to have gluten free noodles. When my date wanted his steak medium, the server told us that "chef prefers it medium rare". They brought my dish with regular noodles and no one apologized. Our server disappeared and we were brought pickled carrots while they re-made my dish. We ordered another drink and it took 18 minutes to bring. When I finally got my order, after my date finished his, it tasted great. It's unfortunate that the service was miserable and his $56 steak was mediocre. Not worth the price at all.

    We have been dining at Bar Dough for years - this visit was sub par, which is unusual. Though we’ve noticed things have been less consistent over the last few visits. Our food was bland and did not come as ordered. Caccio Pepe had firm yolks and no flavor. The sausage on the pizza was a funky texture and also no flavor. The bfast sandy came with bacon, even though it was ordered without (and the server repeated the order back before leaving the table). The hash browns were inedible… SO salty. Asking for more dinks (even though bottomless) seemed like an inconvenience and each one came with less Prosecco than before. It’s a shame to leave feeling like we were the ones in the wrong. Not sure we’ll be back any time soon.

    My husband and I were able to take advantage of Bar Dough’s new Pizza Omakase event. What a great time! There were four of us (max 6, I think) at the chef’s counter right by the pizza oven. Chef Stephie was very friendly and informative as she explained what pizzas she was making and from where the ingredients are sourced. We asked questions throughout, learning what flour to use, how to keep the crust from sticking to a peel, and how to best duplicate the Italian dome pizza oven technique at home. It was a completely personalized training experience. It being Wednesday, we also took advantage of 1/2-off featured wines; the red was fantastic. After eating far more pizza, salad, and snacks than any one person should eat in a sitting, we were invited behind the counter to make our own pizzas under the supervision of chef Stephie. Individualized training was welcome, and we headed home with our personally-made pizza to make for tomorrow’s dinner. This experience will be given on Wednesdays and Thursdays every three weeks for now. It sells out quickly, but I encourage you to find some friends and book a slot! I will be bringing 5 friends for my birthday!

    First time here. The staff was awesome! The food was absolutely delicious (went for brunch). We would have stayed longer but had to leave due to an emergency but we will 1000% come back.

    As Top Chef lovers we were really excited to come here for brunch on Mother's Day seeing as Chef Carrie was on Denver's season. I secured a reservation weeks in advance so I was disappointed when they put all five of us at a communal table. My sister is 7 months pregnant and they had her on a stool. We asked to move to an empty table (there were at least 4) but no can do they just brought her a different chair. Drinks took about 30 min to come out (mimosas and beers nothing fancy). Our food took even longer and was not brought all at once - we couldn't all eat at the same time. Our waitress was so so nice but the lady at the front seemed more concerned about her friends at the bar than service. I think they were definitely short staffed but even as the rush dissipated, nothing sped up. Overall pretty disappointing experience for something that was supposed to be a fun celebration for our mom. Would recommend if you have 3 hours of your Sunday to spare.
