I attended a 3 person B-Day celebration March 15th and was shocked to see no attempt whatsoever to separate people and give proper distance needed during this Pandemic, I should have stayed home but was sure restaurants would be at least trying to do their part. A couple was sat right next to us even though a table at a distance sat empty through our dinner, the upholstered long seats had people elbow to elbow. They just did nothing to give customers any peace of mind, sad

I've been to Bar Dough a few times - I always enjoy the food and staff. I usually sit at the bar and have always found the bar staff to be great. We sat at a high top yesterday with 7 of us and service was truly outstanding! We were in and out because of emergency calls and the staff was very understanding and helpful. Everything came out so quickly and deliciously. Thank you!

Resurrected a cocktail off an old menu and it was the perfect start. If looking at an online menu it is the #2! Great drink! The garlic bread is a must starter, and if you are going to try the garlic bread, you have to have some meatballs for dipping! Both the beet and fennel/arugula salads were excellent. I came thinking I would order something with the fennel sausage. I settled on the bucatini pasta dish, but was steered away by our server to the pappardelle pasta. It was outstanding!! But, you need to improve the sausage pasta dish as your sausage is SO good, but our server didn’t like it. My wife remembered that she ordered that our first time at Bar Dough and was disappointed. My daughter ordered the Commendatore pizza that has the sausage and it was GREAT! Desserts were excellent as was our entire experience! Cheers!

We love love love Bar Dough. Food is excellent!!! Our waiter was great and attentive without being bothersome. Only complaint is that I ordered a cocktail without specifying the brand of bourbon, assuming I would get the well brand. When I got the check the drink was upgraded to a premium brand and ended up costing $19. I would have definitely appreciated if the waiter would have let me know.

Tonight the food was too salty. It's become a hit or miss kind of place. Tavernetta has now become my favorite Italian in town, followed by Bar Dough.

Food was absolutely incredible, possibly the best Italian I've had in Denver. Portions were reasonable going on generous. Drinks were similarly excellent, and only slightly overpriced. Nothing you wouldn't expect at a restaurant like this. Noise level was moderate, very tolerable. Service was great. All in all, I highly recommend it.

We ate at Bar Dough on a Friday night, and maybe that had something to do with the noise level, but I have to honestly say it was probably one of the loudest places we've ever eaten. The food was less amazing than I thought it'd be, too, given the reviews I'd read in advance of making a reservation. Two of my dining companions deemed it "inedible" (one had pizza, one had pasta; the complaint about the pizza was that it was too salty, and the complaint about the pasta was that it just wasn't good), while the other two didn't really have much to say either way. We had two appetizers (the truffle potatoes, and the fried cauliflower), both of which were pretty average; five entrees (three pizzas, two pasta dishes), and dessert, which was really nice. Drinks from the bar were awesome, and our waiter was just the best guy. Our reservation ended up running long, because two of our party were 45 minutes late, but the management worked with us really well, and we were able to eat without being rushed, and still managed to wrap up before the next folks for our table showed up. I'm not sure we'd go back, to be honest, but I'm glad we gave it a shot.

The food is still good. Not as amazing as it was in the early days. What’s really slipped is service. It’s routinely disappointing. And the restaurant is always cold and the music is always very loud. So many other good places to eat in Denver. We won’t be back.
