   We were disapointed to find only 3 tiny pieces of chicken floating in some sauce. Granted its a cheap deal, but to still be hungry after "5 courses" is pretty disatisfying!

   Angel curry centre was great as usual. £9.95 for poppadoms, starter, main, rice or naan and a veg dish, you literally can't go wrong, and the free BYO is amazing. Nice service, tasty food. It's not fine dining but what do you expect for under a tenner? Will continue to go back for tasty Indian food in relaxed surroundings. Nice that they didn't rush us to finish our wine after our table was cleared.

   Angel Curry Centre, Islington, has an unassuming exteriror on a street lined with similar eateries. We ate early on a week night so were the first diners at the restaurant. Despite this the service was a little slow at first, but I couldnt fault the food. The TT deal was excellent value, portion sizes were perfect for us. I had the chicken tikka, chicken balti, and the brijal bhaji, all were flavourful and not too greasy. Woudl recommened for a relaxed dinner, BYOB makes it excellent value.

   The does what it says on the tin – it produces some good popular dishes at a very good price. We had the set menu which was excellent value for money, the food was delicious, hot and just the right amount. Because of it’s size it doesn’t take a lot of people to fill this place up and give it buzzing environment. If you’re a local this is definitely worth a visit or happen to be in the area and the BYO alcohol makes this a great little find

   Really excellent meal. Had a duck dish in an indian for the first time and it was amazing. Also their vegatarian options were great for my girlfriend. Will return soon.

   The Angel Curry Centre in Islington offers amazing value for money with their 5 courses for £9.95. The dishes are smaller than the ones off the main menu but at least you can finish all your food! Very nice, clean restaurant and its a BYOB with no corkage charge so it is well worth a visit!

    If you can see past the less than attractive appearance of this restaurant and the sometimes abrupt manner of the staff the food is amazing and fantastic value for money. Ask for the special menu, 5 courses for £9.95.
