Our hosts were wonderful! We enjoyed the dinner very much! Gnocchi was amazing!
Really enjoyed our Sunday dinner at Agrivino. Wonderful salad, pizza and gnocchi. We also enjoyed a few bottles of red recommenddd by our host. We will definitely be back - hopefully to try out a winemakers dinner but for the pizza and gnocchi for sure!!!! Loved every bite!!
This is a must do if you're in Willamette Valley, Oregon. It's about an hour from Portland, but you can make a day of it and hit up some wineries along the way. The food was absolutely delicious! We shared the salad with proscuitto to start and it was quite possibly the best Italian ham I have had in the US. The gnocchi was tender and the sauces--venison for my husband and bolognese for me--were rich, silky, and full of flavor. Our waitperson suggested the perfect Italian wines to pair with our dishes. Generous servings of gelato with liqueur capped off a perfect Sunday dinner. We will definitely go back!
Best gnocchi and pizza!
Outstanding food. Outstanding experience! I feel fortunate to have dined with Dario and his family on a Saturday night!
Traveling in the area and selected AgriVino over other highly rated restaurants for a Wine Maker's, five course dinner. Did not disappoint! Excellent experience.
We visited for the Anam Cara Cellars winemaker dinner on Friday night. The food and wine were fabulous and the pairings were out of this world! Dario was wonderful. It was truly a lovely experience and I highly recommend reserving a space for one of these special dinners!
Do not miss this restaurant, the food is beautifully crafted, the atmosphere welcoming. It is a lively, fun, and definitely educational evening...... and don’t think that translates to boring, it does not. If you are in the Willamette Valley this is a must-do dining experience!
AgriVino is truly a hidden gem- highly recommend the Friday night winemaker dinners. A unique and spectacular dining experience!
This was our second visit for the Sunday pizza and gnocchi- and it was just as great this time. The only problem is deciding between the Bolognese and the amatriciana sauce - both are fabulous.
Superb food, well prepared and as authentic as being in Italy. Nice wine list. Simple but most excellent Sunday lunch with Pizza and Gnocchi. Truffle and Bolognese sauces were over the top exceptional!
I love that I’m always surprised by the menu and amazed by the quality of the food. The wine is perfectly paired with every course. This has become the ONE place I won’t miss when I’m in the Willamette Valley.
This is one of the best authentic Italian restaurants in the Northwest if not the US. It compares favorably with many of the best restaurants I have eaten in in in Italy. My wife and I have eaten there often and each time it gets better. Many restaurants have off-nights this one seems to have escaped that problem entirely. The couple that runs the restaurant is entirely charming and welcoming. I recommend it without reservation. (But you will need to make some well in advance. It is becoming a destination for foodies.)
Great atmosphere and authentic Italian food. Enjoy hearing how the food was prepped and cooked
AgriVino is a little difficult to find but the effort is well it. This is a small very authentic Italian restaurant that serves excellent food with a very extensive wine list. The service is friendly and efficient. Overall we enjoyed our lunch very much and look forward to eating the fixed menu dinner in the future.
We went to Agrivino for lunch on Saturday, March 31st. It was our 2nd time patronizing this restaurant. It will not be our last. The food is absolutely amazing! I had "Grandma's pasta"--so good! We started with the cheese plate--out of this world tallegio and gorgonzola. I highly recommend Agrivino for authentic Italian fare. Can't wait to go back!
We had a fantastic lunch here for my son's birthday. The gnocchi was spectacular and the pizza excellent. Add lots of great Italian wine, and extremely friendly and attentive service. It was perfect.
Please don't tell anyone about this place. Its getting hard for the locals to get seating.
This place is fabulous. It is as good as any food you will find in Italy. Chef Dario's evening tasting menu and wine pairings is a great experience and a great value. His Sunday pizza and gnocchi day is a perfect Sunday lunch for the family. For a truly memorable experience, book a wine dinner and stay at the Abby Road Farms silos next door. It is a working farm and the silo's have been converted to a B&B. Dario and his wife Sheena are amazing host that make sure you always have a great time. Reservation only so be sure and book!
Been to Agrivino many times and there has not been a visit we were not extremely satisfied with our food or service. The bad thing about giving out great reviews on such small restaurants is it becomes harder to get reservations. Agrivino is a great stop while you are out wine tasting in Willamette Valley... BUT you need to plan ahead and make reservations since there is only the two of them... chef Dario and front room Sheena doing everything... and that is everything so RIGHT!
Wonderful food and pairing with local wine.
Dario and team prepared an amazing dinner for the winemakers dinner we attended there. The courses were fantastic and will be coming again very soon!
The restaurant was beyond expectations. It felt and looked like a restaurant driving down an old country lane in Italy. The pasta dishes were hand made and prepared with love. The blending of spices were done with a perfect touch. My friend and I are self described foodies. We love to cook and eat, but appreciate only a meal that is thoughtfully prepared. I don't know how the Italians can put together such incredible meals with the simplest of ingredients. I will be making it an effort to refer all my friends and family to this wonderful restaurant. And, yes, I will be return much sooner than I had expected.
Authentic Italian food. Fresh ingredients. The pasta dishes are superb!! Has become our favorite dining spot. Chef is friendly and describes the dishes and the wines. Have only had one wait staff several times and she was very professional and friendly. The pasta dishes were equal or rivaled those we had when in Italy.
One more enjoyable dining experience. Love this place and will be returning many times exposing new people to the experience.
Fantastic service! Owners are delightful! We had such good food! Love this place!
Amazing food and fantastic wine pairing! We love having dinner here and it has been incredible every time.
Always a treat to try Dario’s authentic Italian cooking. The truffle risotto was nothing short of amazing. Fantastic Italian wines, all at a good price. Agrivino is worth driving for and a must if you are out in the area. Five Star.
The best overall dining experience around - food, wine, service. Such a unique night.
Whereas the Friday night 5-courseche profumio tasting menu was the very definition of elegance and refinement, the Sunday evening pizza and gnocchi dinner was exactly the opposite. This time the vibe was decidedly more casual. Even Dario's crew was dressed-down for the night. The food, of course, was spectacularly good. Multiple pizza and gnocchi options available. All of them are so good that it will be difficult to choose just one. Best to order one of each. You will not be disappointed.
The food was delicious. The service was very efficient. The drive is beautiful and worth it for a nice sunny day. We went for Sunday Pizza, the special menu is creative and modern. We will definitely go back again in the summer.
the best authentic Italian food in the valley. Exceptional selection of Italian wines at very reasonable price. A very personal welcome from the Chef & owner.
Don't let the unassuming goat-barn exterior fool you. Once inside you step inside, you enter an entirely different world. Soft lighting, walls of wine, and some of the finest mangiare available outside of Italy. Dario and his team create some sinfully delicious dishes. The prix fixe (or rather prezzo fisso) 5-course tasting menu was outstanding. Having the chef serve at table and explain each dish and paired wine, was definitely a "worth the drive" experience.
My absolute favorite local restaurant. You won't be disappointed.
The food is wonderful and owners are great. This is a unique experience.
This place did not disappoint. Five courses with wine, each was fabulously curated and thoughtful. The chef and his wife walked us through each course. The personal touch made each delicious course even better. Thank you for the experience.
Unreal. Not much else needs to be said. Gnoochi was incredible. Pork cheeks were next level good. Chef and his wife were very hospitable. Wish it was in charlotte
An impressive guided tour of fine Italian food and paired wine.
We went for the Saturday one seating dinner. Reservations were for 7 pm, we should have arrived at least 15-20 minutes before that to have more time to get a glass of wine with everyone else. The dinner was a wine pairing and both the food and the wines were superb.
