What struck me on entering the Lanesborough was the sheer elegance of the decor. The staff immediately greeted my friends and I and we were shown to the beautiful room where tea was served. It was like being transported back in time with the tall glass ceiling which made everything so light.The pastel blue walls and carpet are stunningly beautiful and as we were shown to our seats the staff were attentive and friendly. It was a hot day but the temperature was just right inside and we could hear the sounds of a harp being played. The Bridgerton tea itself was delightful and we were able to sit and chat for as long as we wanted, there was no hurrying us off our table. In particular we loved the cream cheese and smoked salmon sandwiches which had dill and horseradish giving them a wonderful flavour. The warm scones were served with both jam and a delicious lemon curd and we tried several different teas. The whole experience was wonderful and I would totally recommend this afternoon tea to anyone.

My friends and I enjoyed a fabulous Afternoon Tea to celebrate my 70th birthday. The staff were very attentive & friendly & this added to our enjoyment. We will definitely come again.

The perfect afternoon tea. The room was stunning, the couch so comfortable and well decorated, and the tea service was incredible. We ordered the Bridgerton blend tea, and the basic sandwich and dessert tower. Everything was so delicious, well worth the price!

Lovely afternoon tea experience. I have a gluten allergy and don’t eat meat and was accommodated so well! The food was great too, despite it being gluten free. Service was excellent and the hotel is beautiful. Thanks for a great time!
