OK, now we have a NEW favorite restaurant in Bend! No Lie. It started early, with the manager accommodating our growing guest list. I dropped by the evening prior to see if we could up our guest count from 4 to 7, just 24 hours out from the rez. No Problem! Our dining experience itself was first-class, from top to bottom. Inventive (& delicious) cocktail list, good wines, and MANY varieties of sake to tempt us. I was a little intimidated by the large selection of sake's, but our server gracefully found the perfect one for me - at least it tasted that way. The food? - out of this world good. Extremely fresh seafood, which is table stakes for a sushi joint (pun intended.) Stepped up a notch with creative rolls, sauces and other treatments. The piece de resistance? - effortless splitting of the check four ways, accurate $ and zero hassle for us. (You don't get this particular service at way too many places these days.) Do not miss this dining experience.

We were able to get a last minute reservation for a group of 6 on a Saturday night and wow - did we luck out. The food was phenomenal for the price and the ambiance was excellent. Highly recommend!

Disappointing experience for a restaurant we've been enjoying for over 10 years. Ordered our favorite Tempura Roll and instead of the 10 big rolls that we normally get it's now 5 very small rolls for the same price. We know Sushi is not geared for vegetarians, we get it. But to have so few options on the (new) menu now is disappointing. Sadly, we are not ever going back. Not worth the money for the food.

I love this restaurant and highly recommend it to anyone who enjoys Japanese food and Sushi. Sit and the bar and enjoy great interactions with Zack, Riley, Cam, if in the restaurant, ask for Riley, Josh or Taylor. Owner Sasha is amazing and Manager Jason is exemplary on every level. Best food in Bend.

As usual… 5 Fusion delivered an absolutely spectacular dining experience. I sat at the sushi bar and enjoyed a beautiful array of impeccably prepared sushi, sashimi and other Japanese dishes. The flavors were clean and delicate. The service was exceptional and the cocktails were out-of-sight tasty!!! The server made an excellent sake suggestion which I absolutely loved. Simply sensational. Thank you. I will be back soon.

We had a lovely dinner at 5 Fusion. Items we ordered included miso, oysters, hamachi, 3 sushi rolls (dragon, crazy tuna, California). All were excellent and very fresh. We also loved our tea (jasmine rose) cocktails and truffles for dessert. Service was very good. Highly recommend.

Great experience at 5 Fusion! We’ve been here before, we came for sushi but also enjoyed the specialty cocktails, the Korean Fried Chicken - and save room for dessert! I highly recommend the butter rum cake with the Marionberries. Our server was great and very attentive. It was a busy Saturday night but we felt special and like we were the most important table in the house, can’t wait to go back again.

We were three for dinner. My husband and daughter ordered entrees. I ordered 2 sushi rolls. My dinner was not served until after my husband and daughter were done eating. The manager offered a free desert to make up for it. Too little, too late. We were tired and left.

My boyfriend and I went for a late valentines dinner and we had the best experience and the best sushi we’ve ever had in Bend! The Steven McQueen roll was the biggest and most unique one we tried it did contain nuts and the sauce on top was almost sweet but with soy sauce it was excellent! The other rolls we enjoyed were so fresh and delicious (their names escape me) overall the experience was great and so were the drinks! Definitely would come back here!!

We always enjoy our time at 5 Fusion. Jason and staff are always so kind!!! It is one of our favorites in Bend and we are never disappointed in service, food or beverages. It is one of the rare spots in Bend where you can be totally comfortable whether looking for a more formal dressed up dinner or a casual family meal with kids.

The service was amazing! The noise was very loud! People plus the speakers made it hard for us to hear at a two top. It’s all sushi…. I expected a more rounded menu. One steak option.. in a “high scale” restaurant?? They should market as a sushi restaurant . Online it looks like a high scale restaurant that also provides sushi. Our party was dissatisfied with the “kitchen “ options not knowing everything was fish . Maybe look a marketing as a strictly sushi place, because the non sushi options don’t make up a good alternative on the menu.

This restaurant was a great find. Service was exemplary. We had Geisha Rolls and Fried Rice, as well as Bi Bim Bap with calamari. Both were delicious. I would highly recommend the Korean bowl. I also love when there is a selection of intriguing cocktails, and they did not disappoint with The Ginger Smash and Daydream. We would definitely return the next time we visit Bend.

This evening at 5 Fusion was easily one of the best dining experiences I have had in a very long time. I travel quite often for business and dine solo most of the time. When I arrived, the manager/maitre d’ was very generous and offered me several option of where to sit being that I was dining alone. I chose the sushi bar. The service was fantastic. The server was well informed and was ever so happy and patient to explain all of the unique cocktails and wide range of sakes. It was a difficult decision between the Clarified Paper Plane and the Browned Butter Old Fashioned. I went for the Browned Butter Old Fashioned. Good choice on my part…. It was the best cocktail I have ever enjoyed. Whatever they did to that whiskey was to die for. I’m definitely going to try and recreate this masterpiece when I get home!!!!! The dinner itself was impeccable. The standouts were easily the Fresh Hawaiian Hearts of Palm with Hawaiian Big Eye Tuna Tataki sauced with the most refreshing cilantro vinaigrette…. My second favorite was the garnished nigiri flight of house cured Wild Japanese Saba, Madai and Shima Aji. Each bite was so delicately seasoned, I felt like I was back in Japan. So rare to find a sushi restaurant offering these types of fish and preparations. Overall, an amazing experience. Thank you 5 Fusion. I will be back for sure. I might even make a special trip back to Bend just to experience the delight that is 5 Fusion. Bravo!!!
