315 Restaurant & Wine Bar
French food is much more than the classic dishes we all have learned to know and love. It is a philosophy within its composition and a discipline in its technique. Using carefully selected ingredients, we look for ways to enhance a dish rather than overwhelm it. This is where the dance begins between the food and the wine.

Table was too small, lighting was too dark to see the menus. The venison scallopini was tough and inedible, the New York strip was tough and barely edible. Overall a very big disappointment do not recommend
Great french onion soup and salad. Excellent wine selection. A favorite place.
Excellent food and service in a relaxed cozy atmosphere.
Had a wonderful Thanksgiving dinner. The food, service , wine and atmosphere was great! It was our first time dining here but it is now definitely on the list to come back to.
Food was delicious! Great service! We had a wonderful dinner there.
I eat here often and always enjoy it. The Branzino is a must. Had Thanksgiving dinner there and everything was perfect!
The worst turkey dinner ever. Stuffing was glue-like. A large glob of poultry skin emerged from mostly small pieces of dark meat.
Warm welcome, attentive service, attractive decor
Featured wine, a Bordeaux blend, was absent on the nose, flat on the palate
First choice wine from list unavailable, suggested replacement was just OK.
Undercooked, overpriced, undersized fois gras
Bland country pâté
Oversized mussels in an odd choice of sauce, fried potato wedges piled on top of mussels instead of traditional french fries on the side.
Tiny scallops, hardly showing any color from searing (but in a tasty sauce)
Fantastic as always. We got the evening's dinner special. And it was outstanding!
Grace, our wait person was spectacular and her assistants were gracious and helpful.
We loved it!
We have been coming to Santa Fe for years, but this was our first experience at 315–and, we will be back. The food was extraordinary. We both had specials (pork chop and sea scallop entrees) that were unique and prepared perfectly. The wine list is extensive and has, as is usual for Santa Fe, some pricey choices, but also reasonable bottles from around the world. The service was efficient, knowledgeable, but never rushed. For fine Santa Fe dining, I thought 315 well valued.
My only complaint: we were seated adjacent to the kitchen entrance and had a bit more noise and bustle than I care for. The dining room is small and somewhat separated from a larger bar and seating space, thus offering two different “characters” of experience. The night was cold, but when we return in warmer times I think the attractive outdoor space may be a winning choice.
In short, ask for a table near the windows and enjoy a great meal.
The sommelier, Ariana, was excellent and the waitress, Jasmi a, was wonderful. Excellent service, very good food and wine, and an altogether pleasant dining experience.
Food was a little disappointing the service and atmosphere was very good. Nice wine list. Creme Brûlée was good. Duck tough.
First time and more than met our expectations! Lovely staff, atmosphere and fabulous food!!!
Nice place to sit outside and enjoy a quiet meal. Indoor seating also appeared to have a nice ambiance. A little loud inside, so glad we chose outdoor seating. French red wine was delish and definitely recommend the quail and Mary French Fried Chicken.
It’s a fine restaurant, but for us old fogies it’s a bit loud. Service we had needed improvement - our waitperson didn’t seem to be very experienced in taking our orders. One of our party’s dinner went missing when the other 3 dinners came to the table. The steak frites were underdone and really nothing special, which for the price was disappointing.
Our experience eating outside just after sunset was delightful, especially once our waitress lighted the propane heater to ward off the evening chill. The food was excellent and the service outstanding. The price was high, but we celebrated our COVID booster shots, and it was worth every penny.
Mussels were cooked in a red sauce that was way too salty. I mean beyond being acceptable. Fries were something like thick quartered fried potatoes. Why change a fantastic classic dish that can’t really go wrong if you cook it right. No mayonaise in a French restaurant…?
We had a wonderful time and the wait staff treated us very well. Service was a bit slow but it is understandable during this crazy time. The food was superb and the wine selection was great. Highly recommend!
Great restaurant. The restaurant was full when we left. Must be very popular.
This is now our favorite Santa Fe restaurant. The ambiance in the small rooms that make up this place is intimate and romantic. Service is friendly and efficient. Best of all the food that we've sampled on two recent visits has been outstanding - particularly the branzino and duck. We highly recommend it
This was our first visit to the 315 Restaurant & Wine Bar. It was excellent! We had a "high top" table in the bar, which was perfect. The ambiance was great, the food was excellent, and the service was super. We'll be back!
We've been enjoying Bistro 315 since moving to Santa Fe in 2004. It is at the top of our list! The chef continues offering his best culinary skills and insists on his staff being trained to European standards. We have never been disappointed and last night was outstanding with the wait staff attentive and our dishes served... outstandingly delicious!!! Melissa and Fred Brownell
Disappointed only in the fois gra appetizer…tiny. Duck entré and Scottish salmon entré were both excellent! Service was perfect. In my husband’s words”French-worthy” experience.
AMAZING FOOD AND LOVED THE AREA. THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING
Outstanding. Kira, our server was very accommodating. Thank you
We thought the foods were overpriced!! The cocktails were small for the price!
We sat at a high top in the bar and it was not very nice since the patio was too cold last night!
Dropping over $350 for dinner for 4 in a bar area is not that good of a value, and we ordered mostly appetizers.
Will not be coming back nor recommending it.
Corner table with friends. Wine and multiple appetizers was just what we all needed. Great food and great service.
315 is one of our favorite restaurants in Santa Fe. The service and food are exceptional and it is not touristy. Love the quiet ambiance.
Our time at 315 was perfect in every way.
Seems they’ve had wait staff turnover so some learning curve issues.
Not sure why the Hamachi is no longer on the appetizer menu🤔
As usual the dinner was excellent
Excellent food from the fois gras and special appetizer to the wines and desert.
Lovely spot right close to the old town, but on a busy street. We chose to eat outside due to covid and appreciated the heaters and wind screens to help keep us warm. We each had soups, mine could have been warmer. I had delicious large mussels and my husband enjoyed the large generous portion of the fried chicken. Just asked our a server to wait a bit between courses , but food came out quickly unfortunately. Overall, highly recommend.
Food & service amazing. Only complaint was how dark it was. We had to use the flashlight on our phone to read the menu and it was difficult to see our plates.
Warm, inviting small local restaurant with amazing food and lovely wait staff.
Always a pleasure ding at 315.
The Onion Soup was wonderful. It had a piquant quality but was robust.
The duck was cooked perfectly with some sweetness but not syrupy or over the top common to many other duck dishes. Polenta was light and crunchy and even the carrots were yummy and could stand alone.
The chanterrel mushroom angel hair pasta had a light creamy and buttery sauce. The pasta was cooked perfect fully and the mushrooms flavorful.
Wonderful service and ambiance. We will be back.
Service very poor. We ordered a salmon entree and said we were splitting it. They arrived with all the food on one plate and a small extra plate. Ridiculous for a fine restaurant to serve this way. Server was clueless.
Extensive liquor list with excellent but expensive too cru French, American, Spanish and Italian wines. The food was great we had pate de food and cesar salad with fried calamari. Then steak and frites like in France and we are French. I had venison medallions. Nice dessert an apple crumble. Price according to quality.
