315 Restaurant & Wine Bar
French food is much more than the classic dishes we all have learned to know and love. It is a philosophy within its composition and a discipline in its technique. Using carefully selected ingredients, we look for ways to enhance a dish rather than overwhelm it. This is where the dance begins between the food and the wine.
Wonderful food and great half price bottles of wine on Tueadays
Ladies night for Bar Menu. Great!!!
Made reservations for family NYE dinner. Of course one could expect it to be crowded; however, the overall experience was a huge disappointment. Service was bad, fish was way over cooked, and they were out of certain menu items and liquor / wine.
While we have enjoyed 315 on a ‘regular’ night, sad to say this last experience was a complete waste of time and money. They were clearly not prepared for the number of reservations they had booked.
This is one of our favorite restaurants in Santa Fe, but we were disappointed this visit. We went for New Years Eve and were seated in a room with a table for 8 and one for 5. Our waiter spent much more time with the other tables and we felt we were just an afterthought. Our cocktails came after our appetizers and our wine showed up in the middle of our main courses. The food was delicious as always, but overall it was not a great experience.
New Years Eve with friends. Food and wine was great! Service was slow.
Charming. Great wines, all dishes very good, some excellent.
315 is a really good restaurant with good service and an excellent wine list
Always a pleasure, one of our long time favorites in Santa Fe!
always delicious and lovely. our fav place to sit in the bar and relax....
Mother/daughter weekend, last night, big treat, lived everything!
I have eaten here 3 times. Great ambiance with delicious French-inspired cuisine. Waiters could be a little more attentive, especially in an early dinner hour, in a restaurant that charges premium prices. The steak frites is especially fun with a smaller bar portion available off-holidays. Oysters were delicious! But only 3 medium sized scallops in entree seemed a little chintzy. Maybe in Paris....
Terrific Service, full bar, great wine list, excellent food...
What more can one ask?
We reserved a table on Dec 6th forChristmas night. We felt fortunate to get a reservation when otherwise the town was booked. When we arrived I was surprised to see so many unoccupied tables Now I know why: $65.00pp limited menu which was not advertised on their website nor where we booked (OpenTable) which emphasized a price from $31-$50. Service was good and the limited selection of wine-by-the-glass was average and overpriced. My Starter was foie gras was fine but typical. My entree (pork chops) was very good. My wife's salad was unremarkable by generous standards and her entree Lamb Stew fell short of a packaged meal from Trader Joe's..Dessert was carrot cake which was an abundance of dryness. It would all have been a good value at the advertised published price but when the check was delivered and payed we left feeling somehow financially malnourished.
We had an excellent Christmas dinner here. The scallop dish I had was outstanding, my wife had an excellent bronzino exceptionally well grilled, and my daughter had a perfectly cooked steak. Desserts were very good; the creme brulee was among the best we've had and the molten chocolate cake, good on its own, was accompanied by an otherworldly banana ice cream. We've dined here previously and also enjoyed it. Highly recommended.
My wife and I enjoyed an early evening Christmas dinner at 315. For a set menu price we had three courses including desert. There were a number of selection for each course that gave us plenty of options. Each course was plentiful and very tasty. I had mussels to start, the marinated pork chop as a main and carrot cake for desert. The pork chop was very moist with cavatelli as a perfect side. My wife had the champagne shrimp, baked hen and chocolate pots de Crème for desert. All were excellent. The service was superb.
This has become our “go to” restaurant because it is always reliable. We went Christmas Day for the special three course meal and it was outstanding. Many choices for each course. We often go to the bar for Happy Hour where oysters and wine are available for a reduced price. The staff is always friendly and welcoming.
We had a party of six and I always get concerned when I'm with a larger party, but where they placed us in the restaurant was perfect and we were seated promptly. The server was excellent, letting us catch up for a moment without pressuring us to order. The wine, a Beaujolais, was fabulous. The food was great and the service was efficient and not over-bearing. We thoroughly enjoyed our evening and I got all the credit for booking the restaurant!
Good food good service. I go there often
This Chef owned and operated spot has been great for many years. We love coming here on any occasion we have to visit Santa Fe.
315 consistently delivers at a high level // Staff is very nice // Menu is creative with attention to detail //
We had a late dinner here on December 15. Our first time, and we do plan to return. Gotta love a restaurant that offers a beautiful cheese plate on the dessert menu! Thanks for a wonderful evening.
Great food - the server was outstanding. Location was ccellant
Chef Moskow manages to outdo himself everytime.
This is one of our favorite restaurants but this was NOT a good visit. We had terrible service. Our waiter seemed irritated about having to wait on us. We were not asked if we wanted to order drinks before dinner, questions about the menu were answered with obvious irritation, our water was never replenished, and we waited for literally hours between courses. The menu was limited due to the holiday, which would’ve been fine if the food was in any way acceptable. We paid $400 for dinner for four. The soup was good, but the other appetizers were lifeless. Two of us had the turkey, which arrived cold and was tasteless, with sides that were melded together in a mash of stuffing, green beans and sweet potatoes. Two of us had steak frites, neither of which were cooked to order appropriately—and one was sent back—and both arrived on cold plates with a mountain of cold fries. Desserts were equally disappointing, especially after waiting an hour! Molten cake should be served warm (!!) and the pumpkin mousse had no taste and seemed dry as if it had been left out too long. We asked for boxes to bring leftovers home to the dogs, but we received somebody else’s dinner! It was a nightmare and we were sorry to share the experience with our dear friends!
Excellent food and good service. Parking was easy (motel lot next door). Quiet, intimate atmosphere.
Thanksgiving meal. Ravioli was cold and mushy, turkey dressing gooey and unpleasant. A disappointment as we usually enjoy this place. Rey much.
Though we were seated in the darkest, farthest corner in an isolated room like ugly, shameful cousins, the service was good and the food was delightful. We had fresh oysters and crab legs, ratatouille crepes, and duck two ways. We finished with pot de creme. All good.
My first dinner in Santa Fe was by recommendation of the Concierge at the La Fonda hotel.
The ambience was loud, but not so loud that it was hard to hear your friends at the table. My only issue was the bass on the stereo was rough on me, but good music overall.
The meal was carefully prepared and extremely enjoyable, although next time I’d specify for A little less salt. I had the Bronzino in lemon capers and butter sauce over green beans and fingerling potatoes. It was positively delicious!
I started with the light and yummy butternut squash soup with apple chutney and fully enjoyed the spectacular homemade ice cream in chocolate and coffee.
My friend had the NY Strip and some almond ice cream that I tried which was also fantastic.
Katie, our lovely server offered excellent, prompt and friendly service.
Highly recommend and will positively return!
Louis’ food is always good-service was a little spotty. We ordered a bottle of wine and it didn t arrive until after appetizer and well into our entree.
We had a fabulous dinner and service a few weeks ago at 315, and I gave a fabulous rating on everything. This time, all was just OK. Service not great! Fish was floating in butter. We won't be back for awhile. It seemed inconsistent.
Food and service were excellent. Will definitely be going back.
Great, a Santa Fe favorite
Pasta dinner not good. Short staffed. Screaming child
Have been to 315 several times (we live in Santa Fe). This time we took some guests from out of town. We all loved our food and the service is excellent. Great parking across the street (always an issue in Santa Fe). They have a very fun bar menu. One of the items is a small plate with two slices of steak, a small green salad, and string french fries on it. I had a bowl of delicious squash soup first and then had this small plate for my entree. It was perfect. My husband loves their steak with pepper sauce. Very French, very delicious.
This was by far the best restaurant we ate at during our 5 day stay in Santa Monica. I had the Grilled Brazino with Lemon & Thyme Butter - it was so delicious! The fish was tender and flavorful, the thyme and lemon butter tied everything together. Thank you!!
We had an excellent meal for my husband's birthday at 315, with outstanding service and congeniality from Jean Paul. Our dining group of four of are long-time friends and locals and have seen this restaurant improve over the years. We requested a certain quiet table so we could catch up with each other and we were graciously accommodated. We live in Las Campanas and it was worth the Uber ride to go in and out of Santa Fe. We had a great time, and we closed the place down!
I think we overdid it a bit, but we created our own 6 course dinner out of the menu and specials. We started with chilled seafood and champagne and then moved on to pate, pasta with shaved truffles, gnocchi, duck two ways, the salmon special and a couple of desserts for good measure. The server was fantastic, always there when we needed something but never intrusive. The owner Louis came by and checked on us several times and helped us with wine selections.
It was a perfect dinner!
Backroom feels isolated from rest of bistro...having window/s in Wall next to hallway would alleviate this .
My husband and I enjoyed our meal here. The rooms are kind of cozy and the service was attentive without any "attitude". We had the chess appetizer plate (excellent quality cheeses) and the foil gras (nicely done). Our main courses were the delicious pork t-bone special and the steak frites. Very good meal, we will be back.
