315 Restaurant & Wine Bar
French food is much more than the classic dishes we all have learned to know and love. It is a philosophy within its composition and a discipline in its technique. Using carefully selected ingredients, we look for ways to enhance a dish rather than overwhelm it. This is where the dance begins between the food and the wine.

Good dependable, one of our favorites for 16 years! The consistency and quality of the food does not disappoint.
But our table was not far enough from a loud party of 4 next to us who had apparently not heard of social distances...please 315, put all your tables at safe distances.
Burrata salad was the best. Pot stickers were burnt. Rabbit empanada was fantastic! Disappointed with the mussels...very bland broth.
Wife’s birthday they did a fabulous job. The owner really rocked it with the wine recommendation
Sat outside and it was lovely as usual. Our waitress Jazzy was great!
Ok, not great. They need to fine tune their COVID protections. Still love the place.
Great food and a caring wait staff in fact the owner of 315 came out and greeted his patrons. He said he was 28 years into running the business. Wow!
Charming side patio. Best mussels in Santa Fe. Squash blossoms are wonderful.
Simply underwhelming. We had heard great things about this restaurant but none of our expectations were filled.
Fantastic, so great to be there for oysters and wine during happy hour. Tables were spaced well and staff was very responsive and respectful. We had a wonderful time!
Sad to report, Restaurant 315 hasn't evolved well into our new pandemic world.
After enjoying happy hours and dinners here for 5 years and rating it 4-5 stars for its inventive and accomplished kitchen, seafood availability (fresh oysters!), warm bistro atmosphere, and professional yet personable service, we were shocked and disappointed on both visits this last week.
1) Our waiter was lackluster. We had to ask 3 times for silverware, napkins, salt&pepper to brought to the table. He was unfamiliar with not only the wines, also the food menu. But he didn't hesitate to guess the answers to our questions—"I think . . ., I'm not sure." Maybe still after being on the job 2 weeks, he hasn't received training?
2) The calamari salad was tasteless. Other than the light & crisp flash-fried calamari, this salad could've come from Denny's.
3) The owner/manager walked around the patio and visited customers at their tables while carrying his mask, instead of wearing it over his nose and mouth. No gloves on his hands, so maybe his version of protecting others is to mask one hand? Or to put on a puppet show?
Sad to say, until we hear 315 cleans up its act, we'll only be ordering frozen takeout from the online menu.
Attentive service, appealing appetizers, excellent entrees, delicious cocktails, and outstanding wine list. What's not to like?
Nice patio and inside dining. Due to covid 19, not busy.
We went to 315 on Saturday night expecting to sit on the patio.
They called us earlier and told us since it was raining we would be inside .
We had a cozy table in the back and we had Allan waiting on us.
We each had a great meal .
I had six oysters that were delicious and a nice main course of yellowtail that was grilled.
My husband had his favorite onion soup followed by a pound of oysters .
We were full and happy.
It was great to have them cook for us .
I enjoy sitting in their outdoor space. It is extremely pleasant. The staff is very nice and you can't beat the wines in the "Happy Hour". I am sorry there is no "bar menu" anymore. Sometimes one does not feel like having a large portion or taking it home.
An outstanding place! Innovative menu. Great wine list.
Nice options for food, plenty of drink options but wine by the glass was limited due to Covid-19
Great food, amazing service and a fun, lively atmosphere.
Food was excellent and service was very good. A little crowded where I was seated but would recommend for a special occasion.
Had special oyster menu which was excellent. Good wine suggestions. Regular menu very interesting and I and my guest will return to try it.
We took advantage of the March oyster dinner special and the oysters were superb. We had a great selection of raw oysters to start with and excellent grilled blue points for the main course. Turns out that a waitperson was missing so service was incredibly slow. Also, the person who checked us in forgot to tell Open Table that we had been there so we returned home to a dunning note from Open Table. A call to the restaurant solved that problem--the very helpful bartender answered the call and finally input the correct info to Open Table. Hope there will not be so many glitches next time.
We have been to 315 many times and it one of our favorites. Our waiter Luz did an amazing excellent job. Great food suggestions and quick service. Thank you for a great night!!
315 is an outstanding restaurant and bar with a great variety in choices // Staff is knowledgeable and efficient //
A very consistent high level SF restaurant //
The steaks we ordered were so heavily salted they could easily have passed for beef jerky! Inedible!
Excellent server. She made it a great experience!
We had a very nice dinner during restaurant week. It was great to try a meal at 315. I recommend it!
Overall a pretty good restaurant. We went for restaurant week with a $50 gift certificate, so with tax and gratuity, the bill was only $115. Our server, Leticia was great: Very personable and friendly. Wine list is notable, but not inexpensive. Our steaks were cooked exactly as ordered and everything else was very tasty.
The kitchen and chef are talented so the food is excellent, the service is commendable (our server, Luz, was excellent, knowledgeable, and personable/friendly), the location is convenient, and the ambiance is appropriate for old town Santa Fe, comfortable, and inviting. 315 should be one of the restaurants at the top of Santa Fe residents' and visitors' lists.
The food was thoughtfully prepared - very good, simply French. The desserts were fantastic. Service was good. The restaurant was full, so the traffic around our table as well as the noise level made for a less pleasant experience than I would think is the norm.
Another great meal during Restaurant Week in Santa Fe. Quality of food and service was perfect.
The food was great, as usual. The service was horrible. We got there at 6pm and didn’t get our first course until 7:30. The gal that was serving us was confused, babbling, and really shouldn’t be waiting tables. We had to wait almost 30 minutes for a drink.. we will be back because we live this place. But, we will not stay if that woman waits on us again.
We had not eaten a 315 in quite some time, and so took the opportunity of Restaurant Week to refresh the acquaintance. This is a very good French restaurant with a good French menu, which you don't see a lot in SF. Restaurant Week is basically good for seeing how well a restaurant cooks. If things are moderately good, even though the menu is limited ( and the best items are not on the RW menu) and they are cooking lots of the same limited things, then you can assume that when things go back to normal, that they will be very good. Obviously good standards here, with a good wine list, and excellent service. We will be back.
I had a reservation thru this app. When I arrived the disheveled host acted as if he had nowhere to sit me which upset me at the start.
The staff were confused and unfocused. My Caesar salad was forgotten and after a long wait and reminder it was brought. The whole atmosphere was disorganized and stressful. I was glad to get out of there.
25th year anniversary menu fixed price three course meal was outstanding . Couldn’t beat the price. Pleasant environment and extensive wine list.
We were there for Restaurant Week and the menu choices on the prix fixe were from their regular menu. It was an outstanding meal and the service by Hillary and the team were superb! Our group of six were seated in one of the smaller rooms and we were able to have a quiet conversation. We have loved 315 since we started eating there around 1990. It just keeps getting better!
We drove an hour up to Santa Fe to celebrate 315's 15th anniversary - their month long celebration. We've been a number of times but not for a while now so this was a great reminder. We chose the special menu - three courses for $35 each, my wife and i and our adult daughter who was visiting New Mexico. My daughter had the steak frites; my wife and i the bouillabasie. They were perfect - cooked to order exactly. First course i had the French onion soup and wife and daughter the garden salad. Deserts, i had the lemon crepes (fantastic!!), daughter had the creme brûlée (rich and as good as we've tasted) and wife the sorbet which was also outstanding. We tasted a couple different wines and enjoyed an Oregon Pino Noir - a favorite. Service has always been friendly but this time it felt like family - inviting us into their house and sincerely concerned that our evening was the best. It was.
Happy with it all. The radio ad for the 25th anniversary/all of Feb. prix fixe got my attention. Made a reservation. Bonus to have parking in downtown Santa Fe. They were very busy and we saw a lot of folks graciously turned away. Excellent drinks, oysters, meals. We’ll be back.
We always love 315, and this evening was no exception. Leticia provided exceptional service and care, while Louis kept an eye on everything. We opted for their 25th anniversary prix fixe which was an excellent value at $35 for 4 courses. The steak with frites was cooked just right, and I loved the chocolate pot de creme. A special surprise was the discount on their exceptional wines. We spend a lot of time in France, and 315 is the closest thing to our wonderful dining experiences there.
Not Up to par in all respects.
This was our first visit. Everything was terrific, and they had an extensive bourbon selection!
