"What a find - a little pricy but then again not for the level of service, the food, and the total experience - a great place you will not be disappointed!!!

We went for our 8th wedding anniversary and I suspect we will remember it for the rest of our lives. Needless to say it was the start of a wonderful evening. If I move back to Albuquerque I will most likely buy a membership to take guests."

"The steaks were excellent; tender, juicy, and cooked properly. Exactly the steak I've come to expect from Vernon's, and exactly the reason I keep coming back. Despite the price, it's well worth it to go once in a while."

"Absolutely loved this restaurant! From the moment we made reservations we were excited to receive our password, and experience something we have never experienced before. Our expectations were exceeded! The staff was professional, knowledgable of their menu items, and very friendly! The atmosphere was romantic, in such an elegant setting. The food was very delicious and filling! We are excited to see this restaurant expand to other areas of the US, we will make Vernon's a regular stop for us. Anyone wanting to experience fine dining above any other, this is the place to go!"

"Gorgeous setting, perfect for business or proposals. Steaks are large and juicy though over done for a medium rare. Large succulent protions. Bring your appetite and a large budget--the food is great but very expensive."

"The $72 steak was fantastic, but he service was worth $2. Our appetizers were over 40 minutes later. After ordering salad, we had to remind the waiter after 15 minutes to place of main dish order. It took 4o minutes to deliver our steaks. We skipped desert as we were worn out. We spent $585 and did not have desert or wine. Pretty steep in Albuquerque!"

"Took mom for Easter; started with brushetta, it was a heart attack on a plate! Worst, gooest cheese mess I ever saw. Then came the bread pieces with dipping sauce and I thought we were eating sponges! The bacon bits on the salad and in my mashed potatoes were so hard I was terrified I would break a tooth! My prime rib was ok, mom's had to go back because it was so tough. We were going to get dessert but instead just got coffee. WHEN WAS THE LAST TIME YOU GOT A CUP OF COFFEE THAT HAD GRINDS IN IT?? $13 for a half glass of wine was nuts. Would have gotten another if price was reasonable. The only good part was that I had been given a $150 gift card which still has a few bucks left....I certainly won't be going back."

"I took my husband to Vernon's to celebrate his new job. My brother and his wife go for their anniversary and he highly recommended it so we gave it a shot. What a treat! I can't remember eating a better steak. I enjoyed the atmosphere and the service was wonderful. It is a place we can go only for special occasions, due to the price range, but that is part of making someone you love feel special."
