Ulele (pronounced you-lay-lee) celebrates the vibrant fusion of ingredients from Florida waters and land once home to many Native Americans, including the legendary young princess Ulele.

Located on the Hillsborough River in Tampa Heights, 400 yards from the Straz Center for the Performing Arts. Indoor and outdoor waterfront dining. Lunch and dinner daily. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Featuring intricately flavored, visually appealing dishes prepared on our 10' round barbacoa grill.

Ulele operates in the lovingly re-imagined 1903 Tampa Heights Water Works building, which also includes its Ulele Spring Brewery to provide a number of craft beers on tap. Next door to Water Works Park.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the indoor dining rooms.

    There for lunch, again. Wife and I both had the grouper sandwich with fries and an iced tea. Always excellent. Service was on par with the food and we definitely like the style and artwork.

    Place is great- bit of a moving you through experience however. Soft shell crab was over-breaded and couldn’t taste the crab. Grouper was spot on however

    As usual Ulele came through for me! I brought two new colleagues to the restaurant for lunch for a business meeting and it was awesome! Great food, great service and a beautiful environment. Thank you again!

    This was the first time we ever ate at the restaurant. Our waitress Angelina was wonderful, Suggested some entrées and desserts off the menu. The food was very, very good. The noise was a little loud. But it was a very enjoyable dining experience. I look forward to returning to the restaurant.

    Ulele delivered once again as a friend and I enjoyed lunch prior to a play at the Straz. It is the ideal pre-theater location. We both chose the Ulele salad, hers with chicken and mine with shrimp. What a great value for $20. Our server Lennon was friendly and professional, making our experience exceptional. We will be back soon, Manager Mike, with Justin stopping by today to check on us.
