Was looking for a place to enjoy a quiet, tasty meal with 3 friend after a long week of work. Found TAG on the web and read the reviews and menu and made our reservation on online. We were not disappointed. The ambience was modern and lively without the distracting noise level that seems to permeate the restaurant scene these days. We had appetizers, entrees, and dessert. Everything was delightful. The braised short rib ravioli was out of the would. Try the home made ice cream, excellent and interesting flavors to boot.

We had a party of 7 and had a wonderful experience at TAG. The wait staff were attentive, knowledgeable and had great suggestions for sharing appetizers (The Taco sushi and the Kobe beef sliders with the best French fries in Denver, were both outstanding!). Dinners were also very tasty (our party had the Cod, Hanger steak and pasta). Save room for dessert!

Was warmly welcomed into TAG. Seated quickly and met exceptionally pleasant wait staff (John Jay). Food was special and well priced. Wife had Short Rib Ravioli that was out of this world. I had the special Alamosa striped bass that was also amazing. Potstickers that started our meal were full of flavor and great texture. A super place to go where you are treated with class by the staff and menu!

We drive down from the mountains only a few times a year, and have learned that it's best to make dinner reservations before we go. TAG must be popular, because a week in advance, there were no available slots between 5:15 and 8:15. We chose the latter time, and when we got there were given the option of being seated at a counter overlooking the kitchen. What a great experience! We got to see almost every meal get prepared, including our own. We were visited by the manager a couple of times, our friendly waiter, and several of the chefs. They all seemed genuinely interested in how we were enjoying our meal. And we were certainly enjoying it a lot.

Decor was urban & contemporary - very nice. Food was unique, well presented and delicious. Service was again, we've been here before, just average. Waiters are fine, but don't seem to love their job or relish working with food. Tag could be tops if the wait staff was more engaged. Only 2 people smiled the whole evening.

I had a friend in town for business and since she was staying downtown at the Hyatt I wanted to go to dinner somewhere within walking distance. I read some nice reviews of Tag online so decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. The service was friendly and the food was absolutely fantastic. I had the spinach salad and Kobe beef sliders and my friend had the halibut which she could not stop raving about. We each had a glass of wine, both very good. Oh, I forgot to mention that the sliders come with fries that are excellent. I would go back for those alone. Even though I live in Castle Rock I would not hesitate to drive downtown for an encore meal at Tag.

After several meals that were very good, our visit this past Sat. was very disappointing. We waited almost 45 min for our main course and our waitress was almost nonexistent. My concern is that as the ownership has branched out they've lost focus on TAG. It certainly wasn't dining at a top 25.

We had a wonderful dinner at TAG. When we arrived, I was presented with a birthday card signed by the staff, which was a nice touch. They have a nice selection of craft cocktails and a good, reasonably priced selection of wine by the glass. We started with "Pigs in a blanket", a pork belly starter that was delicious. For entree's, the special Kansas City Strip steak was perfectly cooked, as was my wife's salmon. Both we're beautifully presented. While, overall, the staff was great and welcoming, our server was pretty much on auto-pilot. Great service at a fine-dining establishment in Denver remains the elusive holy grail... If not for that, this would be a 5 star review. The noise level was definitely "energetic", but not painfully so.

We were treated with the utmost kindness, warmth and inviting hospitality! The food was creative, beautifully presented and tasted simply perfect. Our waitress was informative, friendly and she was sure to inform the Chef about nut allergies we had. The Manager was professional and spent time "talking story" with us. I will be back within a week and am excited to try not only the Chef's surprise dinners but also their seasonal 7 course meals paired with wines! This placed grabbed my attention when I was reading about it online because the Chef is from Hawaii and I knew I couldn't go wrong!! It made me proud to be "one" of them for a night!!

We shared two appetizers, the tuna tacos and the "pig in a blanket." Both were outstanding. While I was tempted by the special whole deep fried rock cod, I had a similar dish at Humboldt recently, so I passed. The short rib ravioli I selected was outstanding, with bits of brussels sprouts and cauliflower. I was too full to taste the Sticky Toffee!

My husband, 2 kids (12 and 9) and I, had my birthday dinner here. It was one of the best meals I have ever had. The salad, appetizer, meals, drinks and desserts were all so good. We were practically licking our plates. They don't have a kids menu, so my kids split the hanger steak. I have never seen my picky kids eat anything so fast. So many interesting flavors melded together in unique and delicious ways. My husband and I both had fish, which were both cooked perfectly. I cannot wait to go back!

Almost 200 dollars for 10 of the 11 appetizers on the menu, plus a bottled water and a few drinks. Anyone reading this is a fool if they don't go. Amazing amazing fabulous utterly delicious appetizers. Need I say more?

Tag came highly recommended for its burgers. Went there for restaurant week. Big mistake. Very limited menu choices. Appetizer was okay. Fish was alittle dry but edible. Dessert was okay (smal tart with balsamic glacé). Tart crust was a little chewy and balsamic glacé was a weird addition. Overall I wouldn't go back during restaurant week. Maybe their regular menu is better.
