I would highly recommend to anyone.6/15/2013 12:00:00 AMSimply fantasticThe small female greeted was not as friendly as expected and slightly unwillingly to accommodate our seating but our waitress (her name was Passion I think ) more than made up for any shortcomings. Super friendly and always with a warm smile she waited on us professionally and efficiently. Plus, the steak and chicken were made to perfection. I actually said "wow" after taking a bite which is a rare occasion.
Between 630-8pm it can get rather crowded and noisy. But afterwards it dies down and you can have a pleasant conversation.

Shared a few apps and a sushi roll, everything was great and had unique flavor! Then we split the banana pudding dessert, which was good, but I think its stretching to say its one of the best desserts in Denver. Maybe its just that I like chocolate in my desserts. From the moment we arrived until we walked out the front door we were pampered with excellent service - great food - and a busy yet controlled ambiance. Being a CIA grad I have always struggled to find restaurants in Denver that can manage to get all three aspects correct - TAG succeeds with ease! Everything was great but my entree - Colorado Rack of Lamb was absolutely "org*smic"! For dessert we were presented with an item that wasn't on the menu - the pastry chef brought out a chocolate "globe" nestled on top of struesel, raspberries and chocolate decorations. Then he poured a small cup of molten chocolate sauce over the globe to reveal the tiny marshmellos inside! Living in Colorado Springs, my wife and I make a commitment to eat in Denver for date night dinner at least once a month. There are a lot of great restaurants we have tried (and some that are still on our to-do list) but we continually find ourselves coming back to TAG. From the drinks, entrees, desserts and service, everything is presented with the utmost quality.
Troy's success (Restaurant, Raw Bar, Burger Bar and forthcoming ventures) are due to his commitment to giving the consumer the best experience possible.

We made reservations through Open Table, and when we arrived was passed up all the 2-tops that were close together and were seated at the "chef seats" (a bar-like seating arrangement where we could watch the chefs prepare the food). It was a fantastic treat! We spared no expense (nor should you)... we had appetizers, wine, main course, and dessert. I would not skip any of it. I had the miso black cod, and I HIGHLY recommend it. The hostess was amazing & so helpful by moving some things around so we could sit in one of their nice big private red booths. For a Tuesday night, they were busy as usual. The entire staff signed a Happy Anniversary card for us which was such a special touch, we knew we picked the perfect place for our anniversary. We had wine, sake & our server even went to their other location just to get my husband a Sapporo beer, wow! The food is top notch & nothing would disappoint here. The icing on the cake, was our waiter Josh who was attentive and kept the amazing food and delicious cocktails coming to our table.
One might say that we should just hang on to the great memories and not come back......I say, defintiley worth the risk.
Thanks you TAG:)4/6/2013 12:00:00 AMwould have given a higherwould have given a higher overall rating but what is it with restaurants who all play the "techno-musak" (the musak of 2012+) which just thumps in your head and add nothing to the ambiance of dining out other than "forget the next course, cancel that wine I just ordered, get me my check, I gotta get out of here". the volume was not horrible, unlike many restaurants, just the annoying repetitive beat of "exodus"
