Decor was urban & contemporary - very nice. Food was unique, well presented and delicious. Service was again, we've been here before, just average. Waiters are fine, but don't seem to love their job or relish working with food. Tag could be tops if the wait staff was more engaged. Only 2 people smiled the whole evening.

I had a friend in town for business and since she was staying downtown at the Hyatt I wanted to go to dinner somewhere within walking distance. I read some nice reviews of Tag online so decided to give it a try. I was not disappointed. The service was friendly and the food was absolutely fantastic. I had the spinach salad and Kobe beef sliders and my friend had the halibut which she could not stop raving about. We each had a glass of wine, both very good. Oh, I forgot to mention that the sliders come with fries that are excellent. I would go back for those alone. Even though I live in Castle Rock I would not hesitate to drive downtown for an encore meal at Tag.

The prices here were fairly high-end for Denver, yet I think there are dozens of better restaurants in the city. If you're going to splurge on dinner, you might as well go somewhere that's legitimately delicious.

After several meals that were very good, our visit this past Sat. was very disappointing. We waited almost 45 min for our main course and our waitress was almost nonexistent. My concern is that as the ownership has branched out they've lost focus on TAG. It certainly wasn't dining at a top 25.

Dined here last week with husband and adult son. Beautiful atmosphere and excellent waiter who was helpful and informative and attentive throughout. We had a wonderful dinner at TAG. When we arrived, I was presented with a birthday card signed by the staff, which was a nice touch. They have a nice selection of craft cocktails and a good, reasonably priced selection of wine by the glass. We started with "Pigs in a blanket", a pork belly starter that was delicious. For entree's, the special Kansas City Strip steak was perfectly cooked, as was my wife's salmon. Both we're beautifully presented. While, overall, the staff was great and welcoming, our server was pretty much on auto-pilot. Great service at a fine-dining establishment in Denver remains the elusive holy grail... If not for that, this would be a 5 star review. The noise level was definitely "energetic", but not painfully so.

We were treated with the utmost kindness, warmth and inviting hospitality! The food was creative, beautifully presented and tasted simply perfect. Our waitress was informative, friendly and she was sure to inform the Chef about nut allergies we had. The Manager was professional and spent time "talking story" with us. I will be back within a week and am excited to try not only the Chef's surprise dinners but also their seasonal 7 course meals paired with wines! This placed grabbed my attention when I was reading about it online because the Chef is from Hawaii and I knew I couldn't go wrong!! It made me proud to be "one" of them for a night!!

We shared two appetizers, the tuna tacos and the "pig in a blanket." Both were outstanding. While I was tempted by the special whole deep fried rock cod, I had a similar dish at Humboldt recently, so I passed. The short rib ravioli I selected was outstanding, with bits of brussels sprouts and cauliflower. I was too full to taste the Sticky Toffee!

My husband, 2 kids (12 and 9) and I, had my birthday dinner here. It was one of the best meals I have ever had. The salad, appetizer, meals, drinks and desserts were all so good. We were practically licking our plates. They don't have a kids menu, so my kids split the hanger steak. I have never seen my picky kids eat anything so fast. So many interesting flavors melded together in unique and delicious ways. My husband and I both had fish, which were both cooked perfectly. I cannot wait to go back!

We went thinking we were going to order entrees. Once we tried the first round of appetizers, we just kept ordering appetizers, five more rounds in fact. It wasn't cheap! Almost 200 dollars for 10 of the 11 appetizers on the menu, plus a bottled water and a few drinks. Anyone reading this is a fool if they don't go. Amazing amazing fabulous utterly delicious appetizers. Need I say more?

Tag came highly recommended for its burgers. Went there for restaurant week. Big mistake. Very limited menu choices. Appetizer was okay. Fish was alittle dry but edible. Dessert was okay (smal tart with balsamic glacé). Tart crust was a little chewy and balsamic glacé was a weird addition. Overall I wouldn't go back during restaurant week. Maybe their regular menu is better.

TAG offered a great selection for Restaurant Week. Many restaurants only do 2 courses and give you a couple of options, but TAG had a unique menu with a choice for everyone's taste. Drinks are pricey, but the Amante Picante was one of the best specialty cocktails I've had! Not a good drink selection for the whiskey lover and I imagine that is because their menu seems mostly Asian fusion. Food was delicious, loved the berry tart and our waiter was very kind and patient.

Ate here for Restaurant Week, and it also happened to be our anniversary, which I noted on the Open Table reservation. I loved that they presented us with a "Happy Anniversary" card signed by all the staff, as well as complimentary champagne (two glasses, not a bottle!). The meal was fantastic - none of the "pale shadow of its usual food" issue when many great restaurants do Restaurant Week. Menu was limited, I think three choices each for appetizer, entree and desert, and the food was up to usual TAG standards and portion sizes. The waiter was great, and with our wine selection let us sample a wine we were considering but not sure about.

They called me at 11:30 AM the day of the reservation to tell me that I could cancel by noon without incurring $20/person fee. Of course I was at work and didn't get the message until later that afternoon. The decor was strange but did like the lighting fixtures. You have to take an elevator to go to the bathroom and buttons in elevator a bit confusing. The paint where I was sitting was scratched off. Most of the staff seemed very nice but server seemed a little stand-offish. Maybe he was not happy to be working during the fixed price dinner week because he knew his tips might not be that good. The real reason to go here is the food. It may be the only reason. Thank you chef for a great meal.

If you are looking for something different and willing to try new flavors, TAG is the place. They offer specialty cocktails you won't find at other restaurants like the Amante Picante & The Cumquat & Jalapeno Mojito. Who knew a jalapeño could make a drink so tasty. The entree's Were also amazing. We had the Steelhead Trout (crispy & moist) & the Short Ribs (tender & flavorful). The sides are paired perfectly With great flavor & sauces. The Peach Pie, Chocolate Flourless Cake & Seafood Potstickers were very yummy as well.

Their shtick is Continental Cuisine and they do not disappoint! Some friends and I went for Denver Restaurant Week and the menu included global options ranging from sushi , Korean BBQ, Kangaroo, Southern Cornbread and so much more but they find a way to make it all work. I've been to this restaurant on a regular night as well and its just as great. Sadly, this is more of a great food establishment with a not as great drink selection, hence the 4 stars instead of 5. The beer selection is meager along with the wine (but I only looked at glasses, they seemed to have more bottle options). The bar looks like its set up for specialty, artisan cocktails but there aren't too many options on the menu. All in all, go for the food!!
