    Excellent food and atmosphere. A star off for service as our server (and other servers) were interested in chatting with a friend at the bar and we felt ignored for a few minutes more than usual. Once the friend left, service was better.

    Lovely restaurant but very crowded. Under the circumstances, they are able to keep the noise to a level that allows a conversation without shouting. Food was excellent, and the portions good size. Our server was also excellent! Very happy with everything and definitely will go again.

    Always an excellent dinner experience. Preparations are creative, unique, and interesting. The wine people are wonderful at locating superb varieties along with excellent value. One of my go-to's when in Portland!

    Our server was especially good. Just the right attentiveness. A developed capacity for friendliness but without losing her professional boundary. She made the evening particularly good. Well done.

    Food was excellent. Service was lacking, especially for a restaurant of this esteem. Waiter assigned to our table was almost nonexistent and amount of time to receive food to the table was longer than expected as well. Expected more from this establishment!

    Always a delight to dine at Nostrana! From the Nostrana Insalata to the homemade fettucine and pizza always delicious and cooked perfect. I had the deboned trout with vegetables! Yum!

    Delicious!!!! We had two of the gnocchi Thursday specials and they were both AMAZING. Followed that up with some vanilla gelato and it was heavenly. Definitely recommend!

    Before Covid, this was our favorite restaurant. I was excited to be there again. Sorry, but the service was slow and the food..well, just okay. Probably will Not go back right away.
