Ulele (pronounced you-lay-lee) celebrates the vibrant fusion of ingredients from Florida waters and land once home to many Native Americans, including the legendary young princess Ulele.

Located on the Hillsborough River in Tampa Heights, 400 yards from the Straz Center for the Performing Arts. Indoor and outdoor waterfront dining. Lunch and dinner daily. Closed Thanksgiving and Christmas.

Featuring intricately flavored, visually appealing dishes prepared on our 10' round barbacoa grill.

Ulele operates in the lovingly re-imagined 1903 Tampa Heights Water Works building, which also includes its Ulele Spring Brewery to provide a number of craft beers on tap. Next door to Water Works Park.

Casual attire is fine, but we don’t allow sleeveless shirts on men in the indoor dining rooms.

    For our dinner, I had the trout and my wife had the risotto. Both were excellent. We recommend eating outside if the noise level inside the restaurant is too loud for you. We had trouble hearing each other in conversation.

    Ulele always delivers an amazing experience, this time was no exception. Bianca was great as our server and one of the managers Jeff even gave us a tour! The trout was absolutely phenomenal, 10/10 overall

    Everything was exceptional...food, service, atmosphere etc. Had the steelhead trout entree with brussels sprouts...sooo delicious! Our server was wonderful, very pleasant, knowledgeable and attentive. The native chili was very good as well. Never disappointed here!
