We don't take ourselves too seriously at Jax Fish House. Two things we do take seriously? The freshness and sustainability of our seafood. You know fresh fish when you see, smell, and taste it-and thanks to modern delivery technology, we bring in that freshy-fresh seven days a week. Sustainability is a little more complicated. Not all commercial fisheries are created equal. That's why we work closely with our suppliers and science-based organizations to ensure that every single thing we serve is responsibly sourced. We consider the stocks of the species we source to prevent overfishing and we work with suppliers who harvest in ways that have minimal impacts on marine environments.

We lived across the street from Jax for 26 years. It was our “Cheers”. We absolutely love Jax for the drinks, food, ambience and we knew and loved the people that worked there! Everything was just as delicious though didn’t know a single person working there. Service was good though not super friendly. That was the only thing lacking.

This place is a gem! The best oysters and selection in Denver. The staff is amazing and vibe is great. The food is also fantastic. GO!

We are visiting Denver to see Sting at the RedRocks , a bucket list experience. I had eaten at Jax over 5 yrs ago and remembered it to be a great spot ….the food , service and ambiance . It didn't disappoint ! We arrived early enough to catch happy hour and in doing so, tried a # of their offerings , before sharing an entree. Everything was really good , it was served in reasonable time and the waiters were very friendly and conversational . We will definitely be back! Scottsdale AZ

Nearly each item that was supposed to be severed hot barely warm. Even the drawn butter. Not on par with other downtown seafood offerings for non-oyster dishes.

We dined there last night and very disappointed in our dining experience. The food was lacking and overpriced ($27 for 1 crabcake for example) and the service was inattentive and the only thing that arrived quickly was the check. One of our party recommended Jax and agreed this was a dining failure.
