  • "The seafood was incredibly fresh, the wine list was on point and our server made sure the evening was memorable. We will definitely visit Oceanaire again soon!"

  • "Just love Oceanaire, my only problem is, there isn't one close to our home in Colorado Springs. Have to drive to Denver for our closest, But, going to be in Washington DC very soon, so we'll be taking clients there for a wonder meal. The service was wonderful, and the food even better. All of us were more than happy with all aspects of the evening. This was also a special occasion, our 46th wedding anniversary, so the extra touch of specially addressed menus along with an anniversary card just shows the extra touch the staff put into the evening. No problems, no problems, not problems..... just a wonderful meal, wonderful time, and wonderful staff."

  • "Upon arrival we notified our waiter that we had a 7:30 PM curtain to make. He confirmed at least twice that he understood the schedule. Upon bringing us the bill at 7:15 PM he left the table never to return to pick up our credit card. I had to get another waiter to take my credit card at 7:20 PM and we ended up literally running to the theater. Not a great way to spend an evening! I have had other great experiences at this restaurant. It seemed the noise was extremely loud and the staff was extremely slow. Perhaps just too busy and understaffed for this particular evening. I will give them another chance."

  • "We had a fantastic dining experience. Great wine list, we had Cakebread Cellars Chardonay and it was super. Amy provided excellent service and surprised us with desert. My first ever Baked Alaska. It was delicious. A great time all around."

  • "We have been here several times before and have always enjoyed The Oceanaire a lot. This is why I chose it to celebrate my wife's birthday dinner. I will chalk it up to being an off night. The service was extremely slow. The main dishes came out warm at best and had to be sent back. Management did everything they could by taking my wife's meal off the bill, but it was still disappointing."

  • "We went on to Chelsea Handler after a wonderful dinner with you and we all agree the dinner (and drinks) outshined the performance. The food was probably the best I've had in over a year. Just an incredible dish. (The black and blue.) The drinks were spot on..... Thank you for a lovely evening."

  • "This is one of the best seafood restaurants in Denver. A little pricey but the food, ambiance and service is well worth it. Our waiter, Sam, helped by Alex was excellent. I would highly recommend this restaurant if you are in the mood for an excellent dining experience."

  • "My wife and I were surprised to see a lot of gray hair in this restaurant. Probably because the prices are pretty steep. We felt a little out of place; however, the food and service were great."

  • "We were celebrating a birthday and had a wonderful evening. The food was spectacular and the service was impeccable. We've been to The Oceanaire Club. It seemed exceptional this time. Always good though."

  • "This was a first time for 1/2 of our group. The others had eaten here before. The food was lovely and nicely served. We would all come back again, but save up first as the prices are high."

  • "Awesome food, perfect service and great environment. Always love going to Oceanaire and getting the freshest seafood prepared in creative ways. Their Spicy Poke was excellent and we always like getting their Crudités - yummy and refreshing."

  • "After a rough start (we were initially placed at a dark little postage stamp table in what felt like a passage way between rooms), we were re-seated and had a terrific time! Jack the waiter was a lot of fun."

  • "The good is great at Oceanaire but the prices are really ridiculous. There are other restaurants in the Landry chain where the food is just as good and the prices are much more reasonable. I sincerely doubt we will go to Oceanaire again because we just cannot justify the prices, no matter how good the food is."

  • "delicious food, welcoming and friendly and service-oriented staff. I highly recommend this restaurant."

  • "Disappointing for food, service. Ambience +/-. Standard large portion, stereotyped menu, large nationwide chain formula restaurant. Not recommended if you appreciate well prepared tasty (much less superb) seafood and less than gargantuan portions."

  • "The food was exceptional, the service was great and the overall experience made our night. We loved the recommended bottle of wine and what was recommended as the cooking method based on our entree choice. I love that the menu changes daily based on the fresh seafood that is flown in. Definitely worth every penny."

  • "We had a wonderful meal (so nice to get truly fresh oysters without having to hop on a plane). The service was perfect, we were sat at a little table in a quiet nook, I was afraid that too often in restaurants the quiet nooks get forgotten but everyone was attentive, but not hovering. We'll be making this into a regular occasion for the oysters if nothing else!"

  • "We took our daughters to the Oceanaire for our oldest daughter's birthday - she got to pick. It was Wonderful. Food was perfect.. Service was fantastic, knowledgeable staff, superb recommendations. If we lived closer this would be a restaurant we would frequent at least monthly."

  • "We were celebrating my daughter's birthday. The entire staff made her feel special from the moment we walked in until we left. The bartender came up with a special virgin drink just for her. The menu offered so many choices it was hard to choose. Each dish was beautifully prepared and outstanding. The halibut was our favorite dish served. The wait staff was very friendly and attentive while giving us our space to enjoy our meal. Can't wait to go back to try other items on the menu!"

  • "We find it very difficult to find a restaurant that offers a space that is quiet so you can have a conversation without shouting - including everyone around you shouting as well. Oceanaire found us such a space. They have a room with carpeting that maintains a reasonable noise level - not deadly quiet - but sufficient that you can carry on a conversation. Wonderful! ANd the food was very good to boot."

  • "We arrived 45 mins early for our reservation, and the front desk staff were good to their word and were able to sit us within 15 mins - very appreciative of this. The wait staff was friendly and very knowledgeable about their menu. We thoroughly enjoyed our meal, though the prices are special occasion prices - not perhaps where you would eat on a weekly basis. Very nice atmosphere - appreciated the fact that you could hold a conversation. We shared one bottle of wine, a favorite of mine the Kim Crawford Sav Blanc - I realize that alcohol is a great profit maker for restaurants but I was taken aback at the price for this bottle at $54, when you can get it on special for as little as $13+ at the local liquor store."

  • "4 stars for appetizer being on the smaller side. Ordered crab cake appetizer...it was delicious, however, it could have been a bit bigger."

  • "I had the halibut prepared black and blue. It was delish! For dessert we shared (very large piece) the pretzel cheesecake which was an amazing combination of salty and sweet perfection."

  • "I absolutely love the atmosphere here! The food is so very fresh and cleanly served and eloquent. I love the white linens, waitstaff attire and decor. It makes a perfect ambiance for high style seafood!"

  • "Although they offer gluten free items on their menu, I do not believe they truly understand how to safely serve a diner who suffers from celiac disease. When I notified them in advance of my requirement they assured me they understood and would take care of me. Unfortunately, the wait staff placed the bread directly in front me, then the chef sent out some sort of bleu cheese appetizer and finally they surprised me with a Baked Alaska for dessert, none of which is even remotely safe for me to eat. They need some proper and thorough gluten free training before I will feel really safe to eat there again."

  • "I went for my birthday with my husband. The food was excellent. Are waiter's recommendation was right on and the service was impeccable. I highly recommend Oceanaire. We eat out often and we rarely would give a recommendation like this."

  • "Our recent dining experience was flawless. We've had a bit of a bumpy road with Oceanaire in the past but this visit was exceptional. Our server, Irish, and her team did a magnificent job of taking care of us. Every dish she described sounded exceptional but we both stuck with the signature crab cakes - you simply cannot go wrong. Our every need was anticipated and beautifully answered. We shared a caesar salad with shrimp along with the sweet potato fries and a spinach salad to go with our entrees. It can be tough finding healthy veggies at Oceanaire but the spinach salad (dressing on the side) is a good choice. Of course we were wrecked with dessert since Oceanaire celebrated our anniversary with baked Alaska. Superb in every way."

  • "Our bill came to $200.00 and I can tell you the food was not worth the $200.00 charged. They have a great wine selection and our waiters - Duran and Jack - were excellent in terms of the service and recommendations. However the food is lacking. If you're going to charge $40.00 per entree it better be stellar, and sad to say theirs were lacking in comparison to others in the Denver area. We also ordered Key Lime Pie for dessert, one of our favorites. However we were presented with Key Lime Cheesecake which is siginficantly different from pie and not what we wanted. Finally, upon leaving we had at least a 20 minute wait for our car because they had one person working valet - very frustrating as well as cold! We agreed we won't be back."

  • "First, I have been an Oceanaire fan for a long time. Started poorly with hostess seating two of us at a six-top; wine had cork in it, wanted to try the crab special, waiter sold us up on another half portion to share, then came back and said could only have another full portion since it was a 'special'. Seafood salad was marginal at best. Crab 'special' was more like a cheap seafood restaurant than high end...small portion and taste unremarkable. Loved Oceanaire piror to Landry's, probalby won't go back."

  • "Quick Facts: 6 pm reservation during Denver Restaurant Week (DRW) extension, 4 people (2 couples), & we have all eaten at this restaurant before. 2 1/2 hours of bad wait service from "Chip" (maybe his real name?). Nate, on the other hand, was filling our water, bringing our bread and clearing plates rapidly. Nate was great. Chip made it horrible. Oceanaire overbooked with theater and DRW reservs and hired an untrained and clueless server, possibly named Chip (name on receipt; he did NOT introduce himself). I do not believe that any of the 4 of us will ever return to Oceanaire nor recommend it to anyone. There's not enough space to list all of the bad, so I will have to find time to post a longer review at an alternate site."

  • "Oysters are wonderful, fresh and oh so tasty! The rest of the menu that I have sampled is also very good. Hard to believe it's owned by Landry's......"
