  • "haven't had a bad dish here. everything's sucrumptious"

  • "I really loved this place. The food was fantastic and our waiter was wonderful. The only thing I didn't really like, was all the kids. I had come here for a celebratory dinner with my husband and there seemed to be a lot of families with kids there….not really what I was expecting. I also noticed the owners only came over to see how you were doing if you had kids at your table….weird."

  • "We enjoy this great neighborhood place for a weeknight or weekend dinner. Great staff, great food."

  • "This restaurant was recommended by several different people, so I thought it was worth it to give it a try. I am glad I did! The food and service was excellent! It is not cheap, but neither is the food. You pay individual for the bread and a salad or side, but the portion and quality was worth it. I was very pleased with every bite!"

  • "We have been to this terrific restaurant that is very close to our home 15-20 times since it opened. The food and service have been consistently great, the menu is interesting and offers great variety. The wine list is superior and they make a fantastic martini. The owner is often on site, which we really appreciate. We have literally NEVER had a bad meal here, and we are picky diners. There have been 3-4 different venues in the location and none has lasted. We take everyone we know to M'Tucci's because we want to help them build a loyal clientele so the restaurant will succeed and grow. We often see people we know who live nowhere near it, so we know word is getting out that it's a lovely place for lunch and dinner."

  • "the food was very good and hot. the waiter needed to blend into the background a little -- he tried too hard to please."

  • "Great specials that are different every time we go there. Steak choices are limited with 7oz, 8 oz and a 22 oz choice but nothing in between. The larger steak choice is a good value for 2 people, if both want steak. $19 for a 7 oz flank steak and $29 for an 8 oz ribeye is a little pricey for this restaurant. The restaurant was packed from the time we arrived at 6:45 until we left at 8:45. Great service!"

  • "First and foremost is the food. It is so well prepared and consistently great. The service is also notable and the overall ambience is inviting. The care and attention to detail by the owners is evident. I just wish it was located closer to the far NE - maybe a second location in the future?...."

  • "M'Tucci's Kitchina has only been open about 7 months and already has become my favorite restaurant in Albuquerque. The Italian dishes are outstanding and the fusion dishes (Italian/New Mexican) are delicious. Fresh pasta makes everything even better. The nightly specials have been creative and delectable. The owners are knowledgeable, dedicated and very friendly, as is the entire staff. I brought friends with me this past weekend, who absolutely loved the food, the ambiance and the service. Kudos to Stephanie, our server, who is beautiful, funny and clearly understands the meaning of "customer service". For my money (literally), M'Tucci's Kitchina is an enchanting new gem in the Land of Enchantment."

  • "Very affordable and best Italian cuisine hands down in Albuquerque. Delicious is an understatement!"

  • "This is a cute restaurant in a strip mall. Very good food and a welcome addition to an area that is starved for decent restaurants. I gave it 4 stars out of 5 because we ordered an appetizer of mussels and they were not fresh tasting at all and we sent them back.. But they happily took them off the bill. We also had calamari which was very good, grilled caesar salad and the ribbon pasta with sausage. The pasta was perfect! This restaurant is definitely worth going to no matter where in the city you live. Highly recommend it and we will definitely be going back to try some other dishes."

  • "When a a few of us went to the restaurant we all got something a bit different . One person did not like their food at all and another had to return their food. Mine was good but not the same as when I had ordered it before. Another thought their food was okay. Possibly a new cook?"

  • "We went there for lunch it was great- they have a salad and pizza special that is wonderful. We got the meat pizza and the sausages-pepperoni and Italian were so fresh as was the tomato base for the pizza which was light and so flavorful. House salad was yummy. We tried to make a reservation that afternoon for Valentine's day with hostess for 4 PM who said they were booked. I went home and was able to book the same reservation on Open Table for 4 PM. We arrived at 4 PM and they were still setting up and no one was there! Go figure-so the reservation thing has to still be worked out for them. Our meal was wonderful-every dish from anitpasti- to salad to entrees. The atmosphere was a little chaotic. We will definitely go back!"

  • "My husband and I went here for Valentine's Day for drinks and dessert and got an appetizer as well. The hostess was friendly and was able to seat us immediately. For being so late (9:45 pm), the lights were all the way up, which didn't create a romantic or relaxing vibe. They eventually dimmed them, and the atmosphere was much better afterwards. We ordered calamari. The dipping sauce was delicious, but the calamari was really chewy. Our drinks arrived after the appetizer. We ordered from their cocktail menu: the old-fashioned was perfect, but the fruity drinks were way too sweet. We got cannolis for dessert--they were pretty good, but not great. We also took the molten chocolate cake home: Delicious!"

  • "We visited Kitchina for Valentines Day. The food and service were great. My wife and I just had one issue. Our table was quite near the front door and every time the door opened which was often a breeze of cold air washed over us. Kitchina could really benefit from having an air lock where customers coming in opened an outside door to enter a small mud room and then another door to enter the actual restaurant. Other then that everything was outstanding."

  • "Our group of eight had a hard time talking because of the noise level on a busy Saturday night. The wait staff was pleasant but seemed a bit untrained and service was slow...I believe the kitchen was overwhelmed with a busy crowd. Not all dinners arrived at the same time and the wait for the first seemed overly long. A drink before in the bar...waiting for our 6:30 reservation was a $12 short pour of an unannounced Merlot, which was nowhere near worth the price...been open a bit too long. Our group said their dinners were good but nobody raved, just said OK. We will be back but but with some caution."

  • "We decided to go out for Valentine's Day on the late side but were lucky to get an early reservation at M'Tuccis! The food and wine was delicious and the red subdued lighting gave a wonderful glow that I wish the restaurant would keep!"

  • "Very tasty! The arancini were wonderful, the cannelloni were a bit firm but overall very good."

  • "This isn't your traditional Italian - spaghetti and meatballs. I had the seafood Cannelloni with red chile tomato cream sauce. It may sound like too many flavors mixed, but it was perfect. The red child wasn't hot, just flavorful. Fantastic. This was our second time there, and I tend to get in a rut and order the same thing are restaurants - but I have ordered different thing both times. Can't wait to go back."

  • "The food is excellent, served by knowledgable and friendly staff. Seems to be a set menu with daily specialties. Everything fresh. Prices are quite reasonable for the quality of the food. The owner is ever-present, making sure each diner's experience is first rate. Portions are perfect, not over- or undersized. Great experience in all ways! Definitely will be returning every chance we get."

  • "M'Tucci's Kitchina is a gem on the westside of Albuquerque. Breaking the curse of their location, this is the highest quality Italian food in Albuquerque. And this is not your typical Italian joint, the food is adventurous and executed to perfection. On the new menu this evening I tried the Arrancini, the Frisse Salad and the Five Pork Bolognese, and all were executed to perfection. The Bolognese was rich and perfectly seasoned! And the portion here are more than ample. Great Job!"

  • "4 of the 8 reds were out of stock. Food took a very long time to come after we ordered. Tasted good, but eggplant parmesan had 2 slices of eggplant (which was tasty) and a pile of pasta. How much would it cost to add another slice or two? Open on Sunday night."

  • "Our second visit and it didn't disappoint. Busy even for a Thursday evening. Waiter who provided a good pace to the getting settled routine - water, drinks, ordering, etc. Polenta appetizer wonderful taste, salads are very good. Seafood special was plentiful and tasty. Tiaramasu was not the normal, but better, more of a custard. Owner stops by and chats to see if everything is good. Is now one of our favorites for return visits."

  • "I chose this place to celebrate my 34th birthday with dinner with my family. We got to sit in the indoor lighted gazebo table, which was very nice! The food was great! Fantastic! I wanted to try a chef specialty meal after reading reviews about Chef Haas online. I tried the Gnocchi. Was very flavorful. The price was a little more than I anticipated, but didn't mind much after tasting the food. I also was able to sample a family member's margarita pizza, which was also quite tasty. The decor was a little confusing. While I liked the masks, some of the other items hanging on the wall just didn't seem to go. The lighting was nice as well. Our server was friendly, but he seemed a little new, yet knowledgeable about the menu items."

  • "Our waiter forgot to tell us about the specials. The food was enjoyable. Bread and butter cost $3, which seems like it should be a give away to me. And our courses were delivered on top of each other. We got our app quickly and while we were still eating it the salad came and while we were still eating that dinner came. The dessert menu was lacking, but I had the canoli and it was very average. Once we were done with dinner the waiter told us no rush and brought the check....could have fooled me about the "no rush" part slow down service. Oh and the décor is very confused. I would eat there again, but will not go out of my way to eat there."

  • "This was our first time dining at M'Tucci's and it lived up to the favorable reviews on Open Table. The appetizers were delivered quickly and were tasty and right-sized. Our entrees were excellent and presented at the correct interval after the appetizers. The only down side was the wine service. The selection is very good and prices not unreasonable. However, we made our selection but the wine wasn't presented until our appetizers were finished."

  • "I love to eat hear, but this last time was a doozy. The hostest up front is so rude, but this is not the first time I mention this. I don't mind waiting a bit for a table, but when you have a reservation and there was another table they could habe sat us at, but they reserved it for someone else, so they said. They did not sit anyone at the the open table until they sat us, so I am no sure why they didn't sit us. I really enjoy the food at this resturant, but not if you have a rude hostest and a manager/owner that yells at you I am not sure what to do. I have not had issues when my husband and I go alone, but when we have had groups is seems as though we do not have a great experience."

  • "We love this restaurant. Outstanding food unlike any other restaurant in Albuquerque. The owners bring New York excellence to our dining scene. Every dish is mouth-watering and unique. New Year 'a Eve celebration was a blast! The menu showed the versatility of the chef and all drinks were included! I cannot say enough good things about this restaurant."

  • "It is wonderful to have another great restaurant on the West Side of Albuquerque. While we have some gems, most of the time we must travel across town for a nice dinner. The food was wonderful and fresh with a diverse menu with something for everyone in our party. Great neighborhood dining, but also recommended for a destination restaurant for those on the other side of the river."

  • "Everything was excellent with one exception: The pizza was a bit undercooked and the tomato sauce on the pizza was lacking. However everything else was excellent: Eggplant, Penne Past, Muscles, Salad...all great. Great atmosphere and service. The owner stopped by our table several times to check on us. I definitely recommend this restaurant. My family and I will return."

  • "Recently I dined at M'Tucci Kitchina with a group of friends. The food was very good and the service was attentive. The sitting area seems a bit crowded but that could be because the restaurant was completely full. Great neighborhood restaurant."
