Diner Reviews
  • "Food was terrific, even for our finicky group. There's not a lot of options for vegetarians. Our server was amazing, she never let our drinks get low. Roof top is awesome. Just be careful of parking in the back 'Ignite Patron Parking' on Rockies game days-they'll tow you for sure. Thankfully the manager warned us before that happened."

  • "Ignite had great food and really good drinks. I suggest getting a reservation and sitting on the rooftop in the summer if you can. The "man candy" (bacon) and the brussel sprout apps were amazing! We had the beet salad with blackened salmon, mac & cheese, short ribs, and filet tips for dinner and everyone gave rave reviews! We will definitely be going back soon!"

  • "Really good meal-had the fig and pricuitto pizza and wedge salad. Service was speedy and friendly! It was a bit noisy but I think that is the building design more than anything. It was a good location for us for our concert. Parking was easy too. We would go back."

  • "Can't go wrong with Ignite. Great food, easy location to get to, always worth it."

  • "I really enjoyed my entire experience at Ignite. I went during Denver Restaurant week, and especially service can be hit or miss. Not at Ignite. We were seated immediately. The food and service were fantastic. Thank you!"

  • "We went to Ignite for 5280 week. The 5280 menu really didn't have anything special on it, so we decided to just have the appetizers. We had the Man candy (bacon with a sweet glaze and spicy). It was excellent. The Mussels and they were okay. Brussell Sprouts excellent and the cheese steak egg rolls were fantastic. It all cost less than the 5280 menu. They have a good beer selection and a vibrant atmosphere. Our waitress Christine was outstanding. She was always coming around and the food came out fast. She even fixed a wobbly table for us. I wouldn't go to Ignite specifically for dinner, bur if you want good appetizers, great beer and fantastic service - Go. It's right near Coors field, so we will definitely go back before or after a game."

  • "Went in for the last day of Denver Restaurant Week around 7:30pm. I had the pork tenderloin, which was good, but just a tad bit overcooked. The flavors of the apple glaze were great. I loved the mashed potatoes and charred asparagus too. My date had the Scottish salmon and loved it. Let's talk about that Mancandy though. Candied bacon, flecked with red chili flake! What could possibly be wrong with that? So good, I ate an order of it there and took one to go. Mark, our server was efficient, friendly, and didn't rush us at all. The dining room had a good energy, but the bar was not really busy at all. Ignite also included a free glass of wine in their Denver Restaurant Week Menu. Overall, a great deal for Denver Restaurant Week!"

  • "appreciated that you could also order off of the regular menu, food was great and fresh, service was ok a little bit it felt like on a packed night they would like to move you through other than that great meal"

  • "We love this place. It's a big space, and you'd never expect them to remember your name or your favorite dish, but they do."

  • "This was our first visit to Ignite and we had a great experience. The food and service was excellent. We will add this to our list of good resturants in Denver."

  • "We ate here before going to a show at the DCPA. My reservations always mention that both my hubby I have gluten and dairy intolerances, and if it will be a problem to accommodate us to please call. While the menus at Ignite are not marked to allow for easy ordering, out waitress was very good and patient. She checked with the kitchen on several dishes, caught some appetizers that we thought were safe but weren't, and seemed both knowledgeable and conscientious about our needs. In the end there were only a handful of things on the menu we could order, but they were delicious. We can give thumbs up to the fried brussels sprouts, roast chicken, and beet tips. The atmosphere was I would call upscale pub."

  • "I was in Denver from Philadelphia to visit my boyfriend. Being from such a foodie city, I was nervous to try out the restaurants. I totally picked Ignite randomly due to its name and roof top bar. We liked the restaurant week menu so we decided to make a reservation. I loved the atmosphere and the food was great! The jalapeño deviled rags were fantastic and so were the filet tips. I wasn't that enthused about the stuffed pork because it was a bit sweet for my taste. Our desserts were great too! I really liked that a glass of wine came with our dinner for restaurant and that we also had the option of ordering from the regular menu instead of the restaurant week menu. That rarely happens in Philly during restaurant week!"

  • "We met friends for dinner at Ignite and the wait staff was very friendly and bartender's were goof mixologists. Not too loud and the food was prepared well and served with good presentation."

  • "We had a great experience at Ignite. The food was great and service outstanding. Even though we arrive around 9:30 pm on a Sunday, our server recommended an amazing appetizer and dinner options. I would highly recommend Ignite to a friend. Thanks for the great experience."

  • "It was delicious but it seemed to be a down night. I would highly recommend the mussels. The broth was incredible. Not a hot spot persay but still good."

  • "Ignite was a great place to go for Valentine's Day. They did not have a set menu which was great because it gave us options and customization."

  • "Very good service and very good food. The room is open and bright with both modern and old touches. Service is crisp and there when you need/want it. Not overbearing at all. The happy hour plates are excellent."

  • "We used to dine at Ignite quite a bit but for various reasons haven't done so since April 2013. We were excited to be making it back until we sat down. We were disappointed to see that the menu had changed but we figured it wasn't too big of a deal because we would try new dishes. We had never been disappointed before...not true this time. I ordered the mac and Cheese and my husband ordered the roasted chicken. The m ac and cheese was missing that "wood fired" flavoring that I'd come to love of their previous pasta dish and was a little too bland for my tastes. The roasted chicken was dry with the best part of the dish being the mashed potatoes. We also noticed a difference in the atmosphere, emptier & quieter than we've ever seen it."

  • "Went for dinner and had the special appetizer of Shrimp Scampi which was a very nice dish. Adequate number of shrimp for price and great flavor. Also had the crispy brussel sprouts which have a nice little spice and since I love the sprouts, this was perfect! For dinner I had a filet tips in a reduction with crispy onion strings, mashed pots and mushrooms. Excellent dish but I think for the $ you should get a few more pieces of meat and there should not be any pieces with gristle (filet is a prime cut and shouldn't be served with gristle!!). Next time I'll be trying the braised short ribs instead. Service excelled and I felt loved."

  • "We are new to town and were looking for a nice dinner on Saturday night. We found Ignite through a search. The reservation got us right in, we ordered and food came out ridiculously fast. It was a solid meal with nice presentation. Don't expect huge portions, but there was plenty of food. If you check in on Yelp, you get a free beer! One of us had a basil cocktail that was delicious - highly recommended. We will be back when we're in the area and look forward to roof-top dining when it's warmer."

  • "It's a very consistent and well priced restaurant in the Lodo / Ballpark neighborhood. Highly recommended for consistently good food at a reasonable price. It was very energetic even for being a non-game day in the middle of the winter. Very well run and great service too."

  • "Although we had anticipated a brunch setting, we could only order off the menu. Ambience was just fair and we wondered why our hosts had selected this restaurant for a Sunday brunch. Service was great, then the food arrived. We started with the jalepeno deviled eggs and truffle oil brussel sprouts. Can't say enough about the brussel sprouts, the server gave us the ingredients which were impressive. The entree of a roasted heirlooom beet salad with salmon was superbly done, just the right amount of goat cheese and pistachios. The table had a variety of entrees, all were fit for foodies. We will be back for the brussel sprouts, and other selections. Delightfully surprised!"

  • "Burgers are delicious and they have a great happy hour menu.. Stuffed pork is probably the only entree of worth. Will be back soon"

  • "The calamari was good. The burger was just okay. We ordered BBQ burgers and they forgot the BBQ sauce on both. It took awhile to flag down the waitress to ask for some BBQ sauce. She wasn't prompt about stopping by and making sure everything was okay, refilling beverages, etc. She didn't seem super busy, just slow. The cocktails were also just okay. The fries lacked salt. I expected much more based on the good reviews here. There are great burgers in Denver... I'll stick with Highland Tavern or the Cherry Cricket for something similar, but better executed. Also, there are much better cocktails (Russell's Smokehouse). I'll pay a bit more for a better experience."

  • "My wife, daughter and I had an early dinner at Ignite last weekend. My daughter had a salad, my wife had a Margherita pizza, and I had a burger; we also shared the Edamame appetizer. The table service was solid, the food good (particularly the appetizer), and the prices reasonable. We ate during the second NFL final, so it was a tad bit boisterous, which I suspect is not uncommon here, given the physical layout (large downstairs dining area with two big screen TVs). The location is a bit removed from downtown Denver, and the LoDo area, and parking might be a bit tricky (I found a spot on the street straightaway, though others might not be so lucky; apparently Ignite has access to a parking lot, so you might want to ask when you book)."

  • "We made a quick reservation on Open Table and they were able to get us in even on a busy Friday night. The service and food were excellent, especially considering the fact that the restaurant was packed. The manager also gave us coupons for free drinks for the next time we come."

  • "My husband I love going to Ignite! In fact, we've been telling everyone it's our new favorite spot. We were given a gift certificate and have since been back several times. The food is tasty and we enjoy the rotating specials and new menu items as well. It's a great spot for a fun date night that isn't overpriced."
