A word from Greg's Grill
Owners Greg & Teresa Hubert opened Greg's Grill in the spring of 2007. Their long history in the restaurant industry and passion for excellent service and great food led them to create a beautiful restaurant that reflects their high standards and attention to detail.
Situated in the heart of
the historic Old Mill District of Bend Oregon, Greg's Grill sits amidst the bustle of movie theaters, art galleries and restaurants.
A lively place for any occasion, it offers a variety of foods with an emphasis on contemporary Northwest cuisine to include rotisserie prime rib, choice-cut steaks, seafood, and chicken cooked to perfection over our apple-wood and mesquite fired grill.
Inside, Northwest style architecture utilizes natural materials and floor-to-ceiling windows, which overlook beautifully landscaped patios, the Deschutes River and the Cascade mountain range. Greg's Grill is a comfortable place to sit and enjoy good times with friends and family.

Gregs Grill is a no brainer,
whether its a Special Occasion, or business meeting, even just cocktails and some tapas I have never been disappointed."

We have been here numerous times
and the food and service has been great."
Dined on 2/22/2014
Waiter never offered us the
specials, my salad order was wrong, my husbands hamburger was marked med well but it was med rare and we had to remind the waiter to bring my son his milk. We weren't checked on for more water or to see how our food was until we were almost done. I have eaten here many times but this will be the last."

Greg's Grill was a wonderful
choice for my Wife's birthday. We both enjoyed the good food and wonderful sunset shown through big beautiful windows!"
Dined on 2/16/2014
Calamari was some of the best we
have ever had. Will definitely return."
Dined on 2/14/2014
So much potential but this
restaurant seems to miss the details to really make it exceptional. Service is ok but never great. Food is good but there is always a miss every time. Ordered medium rare and received prime rib that had been put on the flat iron making it med well. Great flavor but not what was ordered. Did not return because main course was already late coming out. Restaurant needs management that can take it to the level that matches the setting."

One of our entrees was very good ,
the other just so so. Our server truly forgot us after we were served. We finally had to get up and retrieve her."
Dined on 2/14/2014
The food wasn't what I expected.
The ribs were dry, the alfredo wad lacking taste. Service was good, but it took around 45 minutes to take our order."

We don't dine out very much, but
decided we'd go to Greg's Grill for our Valentine's Day dinner . Our meal was excellent, our server was attentive and even though it's a bit noisy, we were able to have good conversation. I'd recommend it to anyone."
Dined on 2/14/2014
Another successful and romantic
dinner at Greg's Grill! Valentines 2014 goes down in the record books. Great service, great view, great dinner. Always a favorite of ours."
Dined on 2/14/2014
Just ate at Greg's with some out
of town guests to celebrate a birthday. We have eaten there on many occasions and have be very pleased with the food and the service. However this time was a huge disappointment. Food was took forever and was cold upon arrival...the kids meals finally showed up as the adults were finishing...and service was lackluster... Since we have had good experiences there before, we will for sure give them another shot..."

Our server knew the menu and was
aware of any allergens. Atmosphere was fun, intimate, and felt like you were in a fancy restaurant. The food was great! Large portions!"
Dined on 1/24/2014
We were celebrating my daughter's
birthday. The staff made her feel special with the prime window seating and the special dessert."
Dined on 1/18/2014
Poached pear salad was a fine
starter, dressing could use a little more flavor. Flat Iron steaks were cooked to order, flavorful, tender, served with a kind of basalmic reduction. The marionberry cobbler had a deep and rich flavor and was large enough to share for two. This is now one of our top restaurants we look forward to in Bend."
Dined on 1/13/2014
My wife and I went for our 10 year
anniversary. Chandler was our server and he couldn't be more helpful. He had some excellent suggestions and also have us wine suggestions. My wife ordered the salmon and it was a little undercooked for her liking, but Chandler went and got her an entirely new entre! The atmosphere was vibrant, but not in an overbearing way. Was very comfortable. Food was magnificent! Appetizer/Entre/Desert! I will definitely come back the next time my wife and I come to the Mountain."

Some of the best prime rib in
Central Oregon and the best view. Everything we had was very good."
Dined on 1/12/2014
A very busy night yet you didn't
feel rushed to get out. Fish and chips were excellent more than enough food. I had chicken piccatta and it was very good. I also liked the fact that you could get half orders on some items. Our server was very upbeat and friendly. Wonderful ambience and views are wonderful. We've eaten here for lunch and it was equally good. It was New Years eve and every table was full so the noise level was up a little, however, the music in the background was loud - would have been nice to ;hear some soft jazz . A very enjoyable evening."

We celebrated our parent's 50th
wedding anniversary at Greg's. We had never been to Greg's before but thought we would try it based on the reviews, menu and variety of pricing. Our server, Michael, was very welcoming, answered all our questions and provided great service throughout the meal. The restaurant decor was beautiful especially with all the holiday decorations and lighting. The noise level was a bit high and with our table of 8, it was hard for everyone to hear a conversation at either end of the table. My husband had the lamb shank special that evening and it was the best lamb I've ever tasted! We will be back!"
Dined on 12/28/2013
We have never been disappointed at
Greg's Grill. Food is consistently good (at least beef) and so is service. The view along the Deschutes river is a bonus."
Dined on 12/24/2013
Fish small portion, overcooked.
Side dishes cold. Rushed the meal. Have had better lunches here. Perhaps kitchen has a volume issue."
Dined on 12/23/2013
Another wonderful anniversary
dinner. Service was great, dinner wonderful and everything was very festive."
Dined on 12/21/2013
Our group had three different
entrees and all were very good - nicely prepared, well presented, and tasty. The meals we had were also a good value for the cost. Nice ambiance for a mainstream restaurant. Service was good (though a bit forced in friendliness). Good variety on the menu. Beef dishes looked a bit pricey, but we didn't try any if those. Gluten-free options were available, though not extensive."
Dined on 12/15/2013
Amazing food and exceptional
ambiance. Our server was very helpful and did a wonderful job. Thank you for the lovely evening!"
Dined on 12/14/2013
Greg's was a sensational delight
for me and my boyfriend. It was the romantic date either of us had ever had. The weather outside was in the below zero category and yet they were quite accommodating allowing us to enjoy a warm beverage out by the fire pit, facing the river. We enjoyed the beauty of the freshly fallen snow, the views all around and the genuine hospitality of the staff. This is now our spot and any other eatery will just not do. Truly a blessing, thank you to everyone for a memory that will be a lifetime source of joy!"

Great Thanksgiving Day experience,
my wife and I decided to cancel a reservation at other location and return two days later for 40th Anniversary Dinner."
Dined on 11/30/2013
First time at this restaurant.
Already thinking about going back. Christmas decorations were well done, food great and service awesome. Go there."
Dined on 11/29/2013
Our reservation was for 4 p.m. on
Thanksgiving. Others who came after use were seated first, even though there were several tables for 2 empty. The waiter was rushed, drinks slow, soup mediocre and before we finished putting our spoon down our entrees were served. The best part of the entree was the cranberry sauce. There was lots of food it just didn't have any taste, the sides were boring. The pumpkin pie was cold with a poor crust. Coffee or tea was never suggested to accompany our dessert. All in all it was an expensive T-day dinner out with a fast food diner experience. We were back in our car at 5:20, Our only reason to return will be to enjoy a drink in the summer and watch the sunset. We will not return for food."

In the heart of Bend's Old Mill
District, Greg's Grill offers both a fabulous "date night" atmosphere or a tasty family dinner! My Bride and I enjoyed a nice quiet dinner before a movie! If you are a BBQ rib eater... Well, you will not leave hungry or disappointed!"

This was our first time to GG. My
wife and I chose Greg's Grill for a number of reason's. Location, wine list, wide range of food selection. We came to find out there was many more reasons why to dine at GG. Friendly staff, quality of the food, fun stroll after dinner around the mall. We would go back ASAP, enjoy!"

Greg's Grill was the place I chose
to celebrate my wife's birthday. The warm, friendly atmosphere was most inviting. Our daughter and her husband were along and our daughter can't eat gluten, dairy, or eggs. They easily met her needs, celebrated my wife's birthday, and accommodate our special needs son. Our time there was most enjoyable and the staff was absolutely great."

Made a reservation through Open
Table and the staff were able to accomodate my request for a window/river view table with no problem. We arrived early, so went to the bar for a cocktail and were treated exceptionally well by Dan. The ambiance is that of an Alaskan lodge. It is an enormous open space with exposed beams and rock work. It was a Saturday night (7pm) and the noise level was on the high end. The Calamari appetizer was tender and delicious. Both our chicken and steak plates were well prepared. They are a Carb-heavy restaurant (bread, rice, potato) but the broccolli served with both our meals was fresh and not overcooked. It was my birthday and the staff sent a complimentary dessert that I would have gladly paid for...super yum!"

We had a celebration dinner at
Greg's Grill. It was the first time any of us had eaten there. The building itself is just beautiful and right along the river. It was a very busy Saturday night but still the noise level was manageable. Our waiter was super busy but he did an excellent job serving us. And the food....superb all around. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone"

We had an excellent dinner at
Greg's the other night. It was our first visit there, but It won't be our last. Staff was very friendly and positive. My wife has a gluten allergy, and the staff did everything they could to accommodate her condition."

In Bend on vacation and just
happened to see Greg's listed in restaurant guide. Great view of river, very good food, very good service, not to noisy. Good for most events as it is a large dining room. Saw small and large groups. In a new shopping area of upscale stores. Would definitely recommend."
Dined on 9/29/2013
We introduced 2 close friends to
Greg's and were overwhelmed at the excellent service and great food. The four of us would return often and bring others into the mix. Keep doing what you are doing. See ya' next time around."
Dined on 9/25/2013
We arrived on a busy Friday night
and were seated promptly. The restaurant had honored our reservation request for a window seat. The restaurant is beautiful and the view is lovely. Service was excellent. Everything was tasty and delicious until the main course. We had the onion rings for an appetizer (fabulous!) and wedge salad for me, my table guests shared a beet salad. We all ordered one of the specials: an apple glazed pork with garlic mashed potatoes. Would've been a perfect meal had the pork not been as dried out as a piece of old shoe leather. We told the waitress that our pork was over-cooked. She said she'd inform the chef but did nothing to make our main dish more appealing."
Dined on 9/21/2013
Greg's Grill is a local place for
us, so we take it for granted. But we wanted to celebrate our anniversary outdoors along the river, and we decided to TRY to get one of those tables outside (it's tough at times). We got it, and it was worth the risk. Beautiful sunset dinner, delicious food (I had shrimp grilled, and my husband had the pork loin). We enjoyed an affordable bottle of Pinot Gris. And, since it was our anniversary, we received our shared cobbler dessert on the house. The service was excellent and sitting outside at sunset is priceless."
Dined on 9/8/2013
We were greeted quickly &
pleasantly by the hostess, and then immediately shown to our table outside on the river front. We were quickly greeted by our server, who brought us our cocktails in short order. Dinner was not far behind.. The presentation was colorful and the food was quite tasty. The waiter came by several times to make sure we had everything we needed. The restaurant manager came by twice to ask how we were doing. Then, late in the dinner, the owner –Greg – came by to ask how we were doing. It has been years since I have seen this level of service and concern for the customer’s experience. For all the reasons cited above, I highly recommend Greg’s for a special experience, you won’t be disappointed."
Dined on 8/13/2013
Our group of 6 made reservations a
day in advance for dinner. Our main reason for choosing this restaurant was the fact that they had patio seating overlooking the river. We were told that they could not promise anything. Upon arriving at the restaurant, we were told we would have to wait for our table and if we wanted patio seating, it would be at least a 45 minute wait. Several people were working the front desk and between them all, they never seemed to know where we were supposed to be or were waiting for. We finally gave up on eating on the patio and were seated inside. Tables outside continually opened up and filled up, and in fact as we were being served, a table fitting our needs sat unfilled the entire time."

Greg's was again top notch. The
wine list was great and the Prime Rib was just over the top!"
