  • "Attentive waitstaff, great food that never keeps coming. A unique dining experience!"

  • "...but the meat is terrific! Nice room, every guest was having a good time but the noise was never a problem. Great salad bar and accompaniments but the meat is the main attraction. Not inexpensive but be prepared to walk (waddle?) out happy."

  • "Our dining experience was fabulous! We loved every bit of it! The meat choices are outstanding and are just so delicious! The service is top notch! We loved every minute of our dinner with our friends. It was their first time, and they loved it! If you go, make sure you take advantage of the grilled pineapple! OMG!!! To die for!"

  • "You expect a wide variety of meats in limitless quantities when you go to a Brazilian steakhouse and that's what you get at Fogo. The food, including the salad bar, was excellent, and the service staff were very attentive to our group of 5. The price was about what you'd expect, maybe a bit higher -- no negatives to report. A very nice dining experience."

  • "Fogo de Chao is an amazing restraunt with amazing food, we went on Father's Day and it was busy. The service for drinks was slow, we ordered our drinks and my father did not get his until we had to ask 45 minutes later. Overall, we were pleased with the efficiency of the winters who carried around the meats, and the manager was very attentive."

  • "We always enjoy our visit to Fogo de Chao. The service is friendly and efficient. The red and green markers make it easy to let the waiters know that we'd like more of something. The wine list is good and I love the salad bar. Altogether a good experience every time!"

  • "For Father's day this year we to go to Brazilian steakhouse. We had been to Fogo De Chao before so we decided we would try a new restaurant instead. We made a reservation at the one down the street from FDC but we were not impressed with the staff or the food (just from walking from the door to the table). So while waiting for my son to use the bathroom I logged onto open table and made a reservation with FDC then 5 minutes after entering we left and walked the few blocks to Fogo. I am so glad we did. The staff there is always amazing, the food is so good that you end up eating way too much and there is a great variety. They really made it a wonderful father's day lunch. Plus we got a coupon as father's day gift to come back another time."

  • "If you like meat-- this is your place. Food was outstanding, salad bar is amazing. Had a great Father's Day with my family and can't wait to go back. They even gave me a gift certificate for another free meal to come back in the next 2 months. Great service. Only complaint, do not order Coke, they charge you for every bottle."

  • "we had a good time and the food was good but the bartender could have defnnitely been nicer when she plopped back the drink lwith light rum on the table when we wanted it replaced with dark rum. I asked for the brazilian mojito. The waitress said dark or light rum- I had no idea so I saidwhat the difference- maybe light. It tasted not at all like a mojito but like tequila. The waiter said she'd replace it and left but then the bartender came back- without a replaement drink and chided us on the differences in flavors of dark and light rum. I just wanted a brazilian mojito. We were there for a birthday party and it kinda put a WTF with the whole celebration. food was wonderful"

  • "We liked the place and food a lot. However, this time around, they didn't have our Open Table reservation for which I got an email confirmation. However, because we had an early time slot, they were able to seat us with no problems. Good recovery."

  • "We went to Fogo de Chao for a birthday celebration. The wait staff was great, very attentive. After visiting this chain in Brazil, I can say it is fairly similar to that restaurant. I was surprised to get quite a few pieces of meat with gristle and/or large quantities of fat. Some pieces I received contained almost no meat! This was disappointing. Towards the end of our meal, we had to ask for some types of meat to be brought out, as we hadn't seen them the entire time we ate. Based on the meat quality on this visit, I would say it isn't worth the $50/person."

  • "Went for my birthday. What a great place! Service was amazing. Food options were plentiful. Meat was delicicious! Great salad bar! My 19 month old daughter even loved the food. DEFINITELY recommend Fogo de Chao."

  • "Being a Brazilian, I was excited about finally having a meal at Fogo. In Brazil, this restaurant is extremely fancy and expensive and I thought the US price was inviting. The meats were wonderful (love the Fraldinha, Picanha and Filet Mignon). The side dishes (fried banana and polenta) were great. The salad bar was very good. But the most remarkable part of the lunch was the service. Everyone was super friendly and attentive. They came several times to take specific meat orders. When they learned we were Brazilians, the Brazilian waiter came to see us and that felt like home. I plan on coming back during my next visit to Denver."

  • "The food, the servers, the concept, their commitment to quality, their salad bar is the best anywhere. "

  • "We lived in Rio for 2 years, and going to this restaurant brings back fond memories of eating at the churrascarias in Brasil. They do a good job of replicating the experience."

  • "We like going to Fogo for fun occasions. The endless meat is always tasty (though we have our preferences -- the garlic beef is hit or miss in dryness, but the filet and the top sirloin are always excellent, and my wife is always on the lookout for the lambchops). The salad bar would make a meal, if you let it, and is always good. While they have a decent wine menu, we always end up just drinking caipiranhas. The service is always highly responsive -- every one of the people on the floor will respond and take care of any questions, problems, or requests you have. It's not a cheap meal, but for all you can eat and high quality at that, it's actually a high value one."

  • "This has always been my second choice in Denver for Brazilian Steakhouses, which I love, but this latest visit was so perfect that this may be my favorite now. The salad bar has improved since my last visit and definitely rivals Texas de Brazil (which both demolish Rodizio's). The service has always been absolutely perfect. The steak and other items were cooked perfectly, thanks to the servers asking us every single time how we wanted it cooked. I can handle my meats red, but my friend hates when it's too red, and I've never seen him happier since every piece he got was exactly how he likes it. I wish the price was a little more affordable, or they had discounts now and then like the others, but I look forward to going back."

  • "This was the first time we had been to this restaurant and all 5 of us totally enjoyed the dinner. The service is amazing and can be fast but it is controllable if you use your green/red coaster properly. The great thing is you only have to eat what you like because you control what you get. Both at the salad bar and table service. Meats are delicious and the side dishes very yummy. This is an expensive restaurant and will only be a special occasion restaurant for us but we will be back! This restaurant is great for all ages and it was nice to see that many families came to celebrate Mother's Day."

  • "This was our first visit to Fogo. Had heard that it was a different type of restaurant. Salad first from a well-stocked salad bar, then signal various staff members circulating throughout the restaurant to serve slices/portions of different meats. Complimentary birthday desert served. "

  • "Prior to this experience, I had only been to FDC once, about 10 years ago. Things seem to have changed for the worse since then. When my girlfriend and I walked in, the hostess didn't even lift her head to greet us. I finally said hello and she just stared at us. We were eventually seated. Our waiter was phenomenal. Super nice guy and wanted to make sure we were happy. The biggest changes from 10 years ago were the ambience and clientele. This used to be a great restaurant for date night. Now, it seems like people view it as a downtown country buffet. As we were finishing up, a group of about 15 was seated, all of them appearing to have come directly from the gym. Everyone was in workout gear. And I thought I was underdressed in a polo."

  • "I'm Brazilian and I've being searching for having a real Brazilian steakhouse experience, and I found it at Fogo de Chao. The meats were cooked to perfection, the spices are very legitimate, I highly recommend. "

  • "Went to Fogo De Chao for our son's 15th birthday dinner. From the moment you sit down you are taken care of, the wait staff is attentive and servers with meat on a stick are abundant. It is a little frenzied as they are constantly buzzing around, but you do have a green go/ red stop paper disk that alerts them to your need for more meat. Our kids tried a Brazilian (?) soft drink and wanted to keep the cans, our waitress washed out the cans and brought them back in a paper bag for them to take home, really appreciate the extra attention. All in all great atmosphere and look forward to returning."

  • "Passed this place on our last trip through Denver and thought we would try it next time we were in town. Well, we returned to Denver for the 4/20 holiday and so did many other people! The staff at Fogo de Chao accommodated a very diverse clientele that evening and were probably the most attentive knowledgeable and professional staff I have had the pleasure of witnessing work! Everyone staff member on the floor is your waiter and is willing to assist you at anytime. And the food is unbelievably good. Be ready to eat because the assortment of meats just keeps coming and if you are not quick to flip your paddle, it will continue without a pause until you tap-out! I plan on visiting Fogo in NYC, and I am hoping the experience is the same. "

  • "Beyond the normal expectations for a Brazilian Steakhouse (huge salad bar, lots of great meats hand-carved at your table), the service at Fogo Denver was beyond compare. The staff was especially knowledgeable about the extensive wine list. The waiter manning the dessert wine and congac cart after dinner -- Minu -- was a fountain of knowledge regarding the ports, brandies, and fine congac. He recommended a delectable pairing of an aged Grand Marnier and a light, not-too-sweet Papaya cream that was the perfect end to an excellent dining experience. Fogo de Chao Denver is a cut above the other Brazilian Steakhouses in the area because of their incredible staff. "

  • "We haven't been to Fogo in over a year and we both felt the quality of meat was better (not that it was bad before). My favorites are the filet and the pork ribs. And we LOVE those cheesy bread balls. The salad bar is high quality with homemade basil dressing, sliced prosciutto, grilled zucchini & asparagas, cooked garlic cloves, fresh mozzarella and other cheeses. Oh- and they had grilled pineapple this time that had cinnamon which was interesting and tasty. Definitely no room for dessert."

  • "The service was fantastic. You certainly will not leave hungry. Celebrated a birthday and gave him a free dessert. Would recommend the restaurant to anyone would likes meat."

  • "I have been to restaurant several times and enjoy the restaurant. The salad bar is excellent to complement your protein-centric meal. It is a good choice for groups, as everyone (even those who are not beef-centric) can generally be accomodated (again, the salad bar is excellent). I do find that the servers are a bit over-eager. They seem to be almost hovering over your table at times. However, Denver is is this reviewers opinion, service-challenged. That being the case, if I have to choose between hovering service and the service that is far more typical in Denver, I'll take hovering. I do think the experience is overpriced for what you receive but again, good for entertaining a group."

  • "I've been to Many Fogo's and to this one a few times. We went on a Friday night. The food is always great. This time was a bit off in other areas. I asked for one type of meat to be brought that was not rare and after being told it would arrive in a few minutes it never did. Even after asking again about 15 minutes later it still took forever and I then got charred meat. Also the wine list is good but I decided I wanted a beer. I like dark beer. They had only two to choose from. Lastly the tables seemed very close so conversation at dinner was not the best. Otherwise it was fine. I still love the food and the concept but for $150 for a couple they could have done much better."

  • "I like the ambience of this place. The service was good, They were very attentive to us and the kids, and they make sure we get type of meat we want. Kids frendly restaurant. I would recommend this restaurant!"

  • "I have been to this restaurant before, & was very satisfied. This weekend that I visited was a big disappointment as we didn't know that the restaurant was only serving a fraction of their meats at a fraction of the price. That should have been disclosed to me when I made the reservation days in advance."
