Service was excellent and they gave me a free sorbet with "Congratulations" written in chocolate. We had the pork potstickers and duck spring rolls for apps. Both sauces were excellent. We then shared 4 large "share plates" -the salmon, lamb, scallops and ribeye. They were all good though I would have expected larger portions and some veggies with them. My aunt is pregnant so she couldn't eat anything without sending it back to be cooked. I would've liked some more of the amazing appetizer sauces... I'm not usually a dessert person but I'm glad I didn't pass it up here. The sorbets and coconut cake were phenomenal. We really had a wonderful time, in all aspects....except for the noise level. It was incredibly loud, and as we were also sitting next to the windows (Which we loved!) we got noise bounce-back from all directions. It certainly did limit any private, personal conversations. Maybe drop some interesting sound panels from the ceiling???

Overall, the food lived up to its great reviews, but my only complaint was the noise level. It was hard to hear conversations at our table of 7. I have eaten here for both dinner and lunch and the meals are very unique in dishes and presentation defiantly worth a visit. Great farm to table food utilizing the small plate concept to the optimum. Only draw back we arrived early for our reservation and we still had to wait beyond our time to get a table. Good sign for the restaurant how well received the food is based on the crowd even after 9 PM. It was very easy to make reservations from Opentable (Thanks for being on OT). We were greeted immediately when we came in and even though they already had a table set up for us, we requested a different setup and they immediately meet our needs. One thing to note as we were talking and waiting for our next course I watched the chefs in the kitchen and watched how detailed they were on the presentation of the meal! This actually impressed me. From the amazing teas to the salmon crudo salad the server recommended, everything was surprising, well thought-out and delicious. Favorites were the soup dumplings (amazing!!) and the brussels sprouts side although that was a bit greasy (but despite that, delicious). The "rice sculpture" that was served in lieu of a bread basket was a tad bizarre. Service was attentive and helpful and it was great to see the chefs working away in the kitchen. They also called the day of to verify the reservation which I asked if I could add one more on - this is the type of service people remember. We have been there twice now and it was even better than our first experience which was also amazing. The service is wonderful, the food is so fresh and delicious. We had the pork buns, they are so different from anything I'be had, mouth watering! We also had the soup dumplings which live up to their excellent reviews. It was my husbands birthday and the staff was very good about accommodating us, they gave a sherbet to him which was very nice. We also have ordered the donuts both times for dessert. The coffee is amazing, the best I've ever had, it's locally roasted, called Coda. We can't say one bad thing about it!
