  • "Aside from occasional lunches, which are always good, hadn't been back in the evening for a year or more. We were there Saturday night and have to admit it was outstanding. I was in the mood for pasta and the spaghetti and meatballs were delicious. It was a busy Saturday night before Easter, but our table was ready when we arrived. The server was knowledgeable and attentive without intruding. We also enjoyed a flatbread that was also very good. Won't let so much time slip by before returning."

  • "First visit at Campiello and we were pretty impressed with ambiance and service (by Kyle). We had been forwarned that the food was hit and miss so wanted to judge for ourselves. Six orders arrived with attractive presentation. All but one dish arrived hot, most were lukewarm at best. Too bad because the Gnocchi lobster was very good. The Pappardelle was tasty but had bunches of pasta clumped together and the veal was a bit too chewy to enjoy. The service was attentive and professional. We will give this restaurant another try. "

  • "We were seated at a streetside outdoor table with a lively, yet quiet ambience. Our waiter promptly appeared and gave us an expert review of the wine list and menu. Pacing was perfect for a leisure Easter lunch. We split the Campiello salad and were glad we did. It was delicious with just the right amount of dressing. The crusty bread was a great addition, too, along with a very nice pinot noir. We enjoyed the tasty fork-tender short rib with pasta and a salami Panini. A frothy cappuccino topped it off. A memorable Easter lunch after an earlier church service. We will be back."

  • "We have eaten here several times, including the last two Easter lunches, meeting with friends after church, and enjoyed a great table outdoors. Our server, Pietro, was very knowledgable and there was no hint of a rush to move us along. The spicy lamb pasta is a "go-to" dish that never disappoints. Whether for a special event or just a nice lunch with friends, "Campies" is a Old Naples tradition that continues to provide quality."

The braised veal pappardelle and pasta lamb ragout were outstanding. Scallops and sausage pizza were a hit also. We continue to put this restaurant as one of our favorites. "

  • "We venture from Cape Cod every year to celebrate our anniversary at Campiellos. This year it was an extra special treat! After a drink at the bar, Corey was an amazing host and server. His lovely, new-mother, bride, also on staff, made our anniversary special. We were sat outside between a beautiful young family and Florida Governor Rick Smith. Lots of energy, yet a very romantic evening! People watching at its best! The food was spectacular. Corey recommended the Spicy Fried Calamari appetizer, the House Special Grouper dish, and the Butterscotch Budino (which was the perfect ending!) I highly recommend this - Best of Naples - restaurant. If you can request Corey, you'll be glad that you did! Thank you Open Table and Campiellos."

  • "We went to the restaurant to celebrate my birthday. Friends told me the restaurant was fabulous--and it certainly was popular on a Monday evening! The food was good but not amazing; the waiters served too many tables so were not attentive. It was a good experience, but not outstanding in a town with so many good restaurants. I will eat there again if I am in downtown Naples, but won't go out of my way to dine there."

Greeted us when we arrived, and asked if she could help us, then when I began to tell her that we had reservations at 5:30, she suddenly and rudely turned away and began talking to a coworker. She had no concept of how to treat customers in a restaurant of this caliber. You get what you accept, and it was disappointing to see that Campiello's accepts this poor level of customer service, and surprising that they would let someone as rude as this greet the public. The food was good, and the wait staff was very friendly, but the initial reception certainly put a damper on the evening. I may be back someday for a casual lunch, but for a formal evening dinner, I think I will go elsewhere."

  • "This is our favorite restaurant in Naples. This past Thursday we took friends to the restaurant we raved about. Unfortunately one of guests ordered the scallops which first arrived under cooked, the second time they arrived they were covered in black pepper. The third time was a charm, but by that time everyone else was finished with dinner and the scallops when to waste. The service was great the waiter did all he could do besides cooking the meal himself. They comped the scallops but the night was already ruined."

However, when we dined here Tuesday night both the red snapper and the pasta with white clam sauce were ruined with way too much red pepper flakes. Red paper has it's place - on pizza perhaps; but, a good chef should be able to get great flavors without a dominant spice like red pepper flakes. the calamari, on the other had, was amazing."

  • "Have been here many times in past & been very pleased. This night was different though. My cocktail was horrible, had to send back. One of our dinner orders (Ceasar salad with Dressing on side) was wrong ---- how do you goof that up? Waiter was uninterested & indifferent, & disappeared quite often. Went to dinner at 5:15 --- took nearly 3 Hours......not good when you have children in your party. Not sure why service was So disappointing this time around?"

  • "We tried to get a table here three times and had to take a 5:00 pm on the third try. I am glad we did. The food is wonderful. I had the Aki Tuna appt. that was so good I could have ate 3 or 4 and the main was the pork short ribs so tasty, my wife loved the pasta w lamb ragu and to top everything off, we had the best server Rubin who couldn't have been nicer than he was. I personally went to the chef to say how much we enjoyed the food. We'll be back for sure next time we are in Florida. Wish this place was in NY."
