Menu is very nice. French onion soup outstanding, frogs legs were good and duck was also nice. Mussels were fishy tasting so were disappointing. Service was very good, attentive and accommodating. Owner was delightful, made the rounds and greeted diners. This was our first time so we will definitely try it again with different menu items. Bread was fresh and tasty. Atmosphere is cosy and comfortable.

The menu here is small but ever-changing, with daily specials and a varying selection of wine and cheese. The staff can converse intelligently about the night's choices, and execution of the meal is flawless.

Everything excellent. Memorable. Romantic. Impeccable service. Wish the portions were larger but fine French dining is always a bit sparse. Still it was all succulent and the Chef even remembered our names when he said goodnight.

We love good food but we don't want to eat fancy and filling all the time. Bouche Bistro offers a clean, simple, and delicious menu consistently. A very good wine list rounds out the meal along with attentive wait staff and a lovely ambience. Our first choice during the summer months and always on the radar in the off seasons.

Bouche served the best soup I have had in a long time (and I am lucky in that I dine with friends at places like: The French Laundry, Per Se, Daniel, Bouley, etc fairly regularly). The pea emulsion ravioli was divine. The desserts were wonderful -- the bread pudding was too much bread and not enough cherry and chocolate. The service was very professional -- not exactly warm -- but very good.

We ate at Bouche just after it opened, and it was a memorable meal. That was 1-2 years ago. We were disappointed this time. My steak au poivre was undercooked and gristly, and not particularly peppery. It didn't seem to be cooked in the usual way. Two orders of halibut were differently cooked .. one undercooked and one perfect.

We have been to Bouche several times on our visits to Santa Fe. They never disappoint. Fresh local ingredients, superb meats and fish, wonderful, caring service. The Chef always visits the table to say hi and make sure your meal was good. Highly recommeded are the Sweetbreads and the Halibut. Profiteroles and unique cream brulee for dessert. The frites make a great starter. Unique, French inspired Bistro. Try it, you won't be disappointed.

Chef Charles has really given Santa Fe a special treat with Bouche. I ate their with a friend visiting from out of town & had such an amazing meal we just had to go back the next night! Food & service were top notch. We had the best Caesar of both of our lives, the mussels were delicious and perfectly cooked. The escargot were better than I've had in France. The ravioli dish was exceptional and the crime brûlée was tear jerking it was so incredibly delicious.

We continue to enjoy the frog's legs Provençal and the escargots appetizers, the lamb loin entree was perfectly cooked but could have used more 'sauce' served along side it...the 'shmear' just does not cut it. Pleasant service as always and an expanded wine list keep Bouche a local 'go-to' for us!

Outstanding restaurant buit on excellent food, wonderful service and a quirky, high value wine list. Great outdoor setting while the weather holds, but the chef's table is a must once the patio closes. the chef visits the dining area regularly, even delive3ring specialplates from time to time, and the Maitre De, Paul, sets the standard for high quality service. One of our favorite Santa Fe reastaurants.

One could get carried away with the carefully prepared and very tasty appertizers. However, make sure you leave room for the stupendous sweetbreads, the cooked-to-perfection swordfish, the outstanding poulet paillard, or the steak with peppercorn sauce. Here's a hint of how good Bouche can be: most restaurant make a mockery of "French" fries. At Bouche, you can have them landing on your table plain or infused with the heady aroma of truffles. Not to be missed: bread pudding. Speaking of bread, your first taste at Bouche will be a fine morsel of home-baked deliciousness, topped with sweet butter. You will be trasnsported. Can't wait for the fall menu - duck, hopefully some choucroute, and other surprises. On the pricey side, but worth it.

The service was sensitive, the ambiance great. However, except for the salad course, each presentation mixed an excellent idea with something slightly amiss--eg, an ingredient a bit overcooked, an unneeded addition, etc. For example, my sweetbeads on a bed of mushrooms were deep fried, dry, and tasteless though the rest of the dish was perfect; my creme brule had so thick a sugar (unbruled) crust you could not taste the custard, etc. My wife's meal had similar defects. Given the cost and reputation of Bouche the meal was a minor disappointment.

Ambiance in outside dining rooms was a bit hectic and noisy. Waiters were calm but over extended. Bread outstanding as was lamb stew dish, sweet breads and escargot. The appetizer (escargot) was very good, the entree (halibut) excellent. The caesar salad was disappointing....not much flavor and no anchovies until I asked for them and then was charged $3 for four small anchovies. The dessert (cream brulee) was too sweet and had a topping that was heavy and not at all as good as the traditional fired glaze. The best part of the experience was the ambiance which far excels the previous restaurant's feel. Outside dining area still needs improvement. Service was very good, not great; cost is rather high.

We must have eaten at another Bouche Bistro because our dinning experience was nothing like the many reviews on open table. We sent back the tenderloin tartar as it was a dreadful gooey mustardy mess. My halibut was overcooked, dry and tasteless Husband's salmon was cooked properly on the top side but over cooked on the bottom. The "Classic" Ceasar salad was not and they wanted to charge $3.00 for anchovies. The tiny metal chairs were butt Killers and our server was stoic and aloof. Although we are professional diners, we thought maybe we hit an off night. However, it was reassuring to know our hotel concierge said many guest have had similar experiences. With so many great dinning opportunities in Santa Fe, you can skip this one!

The tables are a little too close together and a little small which is the only reason for not giving this restaurant a perfect 5 star rating. The food was BEYOND wonderful. The beet and asparagus starter was my favorite, also splurged with the foie gras of the eve--perhaps too pricey for the size but quite the taste treat. 4 different entres all described as spectacular by our group. Generously Bouche offers half portions of some main dishes, making it easier to sample the artistry, a truly spectacular food experience. About $50 per person with wine, including tip et al., could probably do it for less but why?
