Diner Reviews
  • "We stumbled upon this place and figured why not try? The service was amazing I loved the hot/cold salad-food bar you start with. Gare nteed you will not need to go back and only take a small amount! You are spoiled with amazing cuts of meat until you say no more. Have to say the bacon wrapped chicken is my favorite!"

  • "The food was good quality and hot when the servers came to the table. The visits to the table started at a good pace, but unfortunately deteriorated as time went on, eventhough our table marker indicated we wanted more. We were seated close to the cold buffet and grill, but seemed to keep getting bypassed by servers as they rushed off to other tables right next to us. We finally needed to stop servers and call them over. We did ask our waiter for two items that we were not able to get and he was able to bring them over. Unfortunately a few of our party left still hungry, which shouldn't happen at an all-you-can-eat, but we were already there over 2 hours and were tired of waiting."

  • "The food is going down hill, seems like they are using cheaper cuts if meat. Sadly was my favorite place but now not so much. We will not be back. Not worth the price paid!"

  • "I made the reservation to Bolero for my boyfriend's 25th birthday.. He had been to the restaurant a few times previous but it was my first visit. We were quite impressed with the selection of steak and the salad bar was good. We were excited for the crab legs, but they were very hard to crack because there weren't any crackers readily available. Our server Ian was great. He was attentive, very pleasant and professional. I had made our reservation online and had written in the comments that it was my boyfriends birthday.. He had forgotten but when we mentioned it he apologized and brought us a dessert free of charge. It would be nice if there was a more strict dress code, but would we return to Bolero in the future? Definitely. Thank you!"

  • "The food here was on par with the numerous other times I have visited Boleros, and although it's pricey for what you get, the atmosphere and social experience make up for it. However, the service was horrendous this time. We were greeted by a very rude gentleman and were asked to wait at the bar for 25 minutes even though we had a reservation. The majority of the food servers were very rude and seemed miserable. We tried to be jovial and friendly to all, but it didn't help. Boleros normally has a fun environment that makes celebrating special occasions exciting. However, this time the staff made the experience stiff and cold, and I would not recommend anyone go here to celebrate anything."

  • "Bolero is always a fun place to go with a group of friends. The buffet and variety of meats keep things interesting and interactive as the meal progresses. The staff memebr are friendly and provide good service. As an added bonus, eating at Bolero with food allergies is relatively easy."

  • "This would be our 5th time to Bolero. Service was great and food was wonderful. Didn't have to wait long for a skewer to come by our table. Waitress was great, was around when needed but not annoying. Overall a great experience once again. These guys and gals know how to cook and run a restaurant. We will be back."

  • "We took our son out for a fun dinner to celebrate his high school graduation. That meant we had to feed four big lads plus the rest of us. The environment was fun, the salad bar had a large delicious selection and the endless supply of meat of different variety was great. Service staff was attentive and we got our food promptly. The variety of meat offerings was generous and prepared nicely, and we especially enjoyed the bacon wrapped filet and the italian sausage."

  • "I took my daughter and friends here for a milestone birthday. We had an excellent server/host who was super accommodating, did not become annoyed or frustrated at all at any time. He was relaxed and friendly and seemed genuinely happy to have us there. Honestly, he was great. The food was wonderful, as always and it was a VERY enjoyable and unrushed evening. Boleros has become our new family favorite place for celebrating occasions."

  • "For a meatatarian this is the place to go. This was our second time there but it will not be our last."

  • "Food was good although a couple of the sirloin dishes were somewhat chewy. Service was good but we were early diners and restaurant was less crowded. The interior is somewhat dark and with unevenness on the floor there is a sense of losing one's balance. Having spent some time in Brazil was extremely disappointed in the classic caipirinha drink. Certainly no taste of the cane sugar liquor and made with ungodly sweet lime cordial or similar."

  • "We had guest from the Maritimes and took them to Bolero's to experience the Brazilian Barbeque. Our server was fabulous but the skewers were extremely slow. We only saw 6 meats in 2 hours and had to request lamb and pineapple. Disappointing as we had a table of 6 that we took to experience this."

  • "I had a very good time at boleros. I loved the coconut rice, the dining experience was different and enjoyable. My only complaint would be that we were at a table for two and some of the servers did not come to our table, I am not sure if the waiters/waitresses have sections but there was one waiter who never came to our table but frequently went to the tables behind us. After we visited the buffet it took a while for the good to come around even though we had put our marker to green and I feel that our waiter had noticed this and he went and started bringing food to us, our waiter was very good! Overall good food and an enjoyable time. Also making a reservation was very easy."

  • "Super friendly staff. Very accommodating to my family that includes a 6 year old and a very fussy and picky 1 year old. Wife and I love the food and the place. Kids enjoyed the sword meat. Very good time."

  • "I wish I could afford the evening prices, but the Sunday brunch is worth driving across the city or country for!! It is more special when you don't go for awhile and have really missed it and appreciate how outstanding the service, food, etc. really is!"

  • "Delicious selection for brunch. Lots of "standard" brunch fare (bacon, bennys, hashbrowns, cereal, omelettes...) as well as choices from Bolero's dinner spread (salads, cheeses, veggies, seafood) and a large dessert table. 10 items on skewers to choose from, including (in my opinion) the two best cuts of sirloin they offer. A great value at the price point and something for everyone (except maybe vegetarians). Service very nice although our waitress was super awkward, though attentive."

  • "The service was amazing from our personal server to the numerous meat servers that visited our table. The concept is very interesting however I personally can't justify eating $40 worth of food. It's a place everyone should try once but as I can't consume enough meat to make it worth the price. I will not be returning. Also, there was no music and the noise of people talking was extremely loud (especially the kids). I was surprised to see so many kids at a restaurant such as this one. I had planned for a romantic dinner with my husband away from our child and was surrounded by crying babies and loud children. Perhaps some background music could have remedied that problem."

  • "We planned our parents surprise 50th anniversary, service was great food was awesome, the only thing I was disappointed with was that as a group of 20 they had to put us at 2 tables; we could not sit all together. I thought about it after we left we should of put the 2 tables together."

  • "I find that this place isnt so much a romantic dinner for 2 place, so much as fun as hell dinner for 2-20ppl. Good high energy from the ppl who work there and the customers. Decent alcohol options, not mind-blowing but pretty good. Their meat is ridiculously good"

  • "Service was a bit slow, we didn't get any chicken till we'd been there about an hour. Also we saw larger tables served many more times than our table of 3. But the food was great when we did get it."

  • "Last minute reservation worked out wonderfully for my step-son's high school post-grad dinner, only comment I would make is that our group of six was placed at a table for 10 and the lighting was not great (one end of the table was very dark). Other than that the food (as always) was excellent."

  • "I have to say that it started off good but the meal got progressively worst. The meat was dry and tough. And if it wasn't dry it was under cooked. The side options were minimal and semi cold. Our waitress didn't really check on us and even at the end she didn't ask if our meal was ok. I had to bring it up. We left so much food on our plates you think she would have the common sense to ask. When I did ask tell her all she said ok I'll let the kitchen I know. Not impressed for the price. Only thing good was the dessert. "

  • "Food was good, but limited selection, not sure if this was becuase it was a Wednesday, we did the "all you can eat" option for $40, i am sure we didnt get full value, if i go back i would options for the 2 or 3 skewer option and just pick a cople favorites. The A/C wasnt working which made it uncomfortablely warm in the resturant. "

  • "We had a fantastic server and a great time. The white sangria was full of flavor and sweet, just the way I like it! The sides were plentiful and delicious. However, it seemed as though we spent most of our time waiting for meat to come to our table. It seemed like we were waiting 5-10 minutes for each person to come by to our table. We had gotten there at 7:30 and the place was starting to clear out. It was frustrating to sit and wait while other tables got served quickly. "

  • "Got a table this visit directly adjacent to the BBQ, but sat for 30 minutes at the longest with our cue turned to green. Never saw pineapple until we couldn't wait anymore and asked for the bill (was there around 2 hour total). Our waiter was kind enough to get some pineapple brought directly to the table for the wife. Dessert was outstanding (Key Lime Cheesecake and Coconut Creme Brulé), and I love being able to order my La Fin Du Monde and enjoy some great Brazilian style cooking. Usually have great service, so it was likely just a bad night. The waiter himself was very kind and attentive."
