   My wife and I had a wonderful dinner experience here on Christmas. Great food, cocktails, and dessert!

   Chip, our server, was great! Very friendly, but not too chatty and very efficient. In a world full of servers that set the bar low, Chip reminded me of the days when waitstaff genuinely liked people and cared about how they represented the restaurant. We are visitors and went off of reviews for our Christmas dinner…tricky to figure out a spot that might actually be good. Zin had pretty good overall reviews and the Christmas dinner looked traditional, but interesting. First, there were a lot of packed restaurants nearby, but they all looked OVER crowded and not too holiday-ish, so we were happy with the ambience at our choice. Zin was busy, but not packed and they had a good proportion of waitstaff to tables. We were early, and they had a good flow for rotating reservations. It seemed like that was an ongoing skill (not just holiday). The food was ALSO delicious. I find most restaurant meat that is baked or cooked over time is often dry with some kind of sauce to “reconstitute” it or a really small portion. My husband had brisket, I had ham, my daughter had scallops (and they advertised as strictly holiday menu, but they brought out a kids menu and my son was VERY excited to get a hamburger:). All of the sides and mains were well seasoned, cooked well, and looked nice. The chèvre cheesecake was amazing to wrap up our dinner. It is understated and not as trendy looking like other places nearby, so you might miss it. However, I’d recommend stopping and giving it a try!

   Great experience. The filet minon appetizer was scrumptious. The crème brûlée cheesecake was another home run Scallops got high marks also. We got VIP treatment with seating. Great Xmas people watching on the patio.

   Was disappointed in the roast beef I had on Christmas Day. It was over done and tough. My husband had the ham and said it was nothing special. My cheesecake dessert was OK but not great. My husband’s bread pudding was actually good! I can’t recommend this place. Sorry. Nice folks though.

   Christmas Eve at Zin - it was an excellent celebration and dinner. Food was excellent (wow!! to the fig/feta salad, mussels, and Brussels sprouts appetizers!) Entres were superb — a steak frites and a braised pork shank. Our server, Claudia, was incredibly pleasant and attentive!

   Wedge salad was not good. My husband has no desire to go back. Service and food has gone down hill.

   Good was OK. Wedge salad was great! Short ribs were very fatty. Noise level was horrible. I could not hear dinner companions across the table. The lighting inside was awful. Everything had a greenish yellow cast and the interior was just ugly!

   I'm sorry you didn't enjoy your visit here and that is was busy and on the louder side - we're working on some sound board to absorb it more. Not sure about the 'greenish yellow cast' and dissapointed you didn't enjoy our lovely holiday decor. I do hope you let your server know you didn't enjoy your ribs and they made it right for you. It is prime meat so does a bit of fat as prime does but it's a large portion so there's usually plenty of meat to enjoy.

   Service was great but food was very average in flavor. 2 plates of pasta for $100.. value didn’t seem there.

   Thanks for the feedback and sorry your lobster pappardelle didn't have the flavor you wanted. It's new to the menu because it was such a popular special our guests wanted it added so I will speak to the chef as I know it's normally very tasty. We hope you visit again and we can do better.
