El Zin American Bistro es un intento de modernizar y americanizar el concepto bistro francés tradicional. Farouk is passionate about wine, particularly French wine, and he enjoys sharing his knowledge with those who appreciate not just good wine but also the stories behind each bottle. We echo his sentiment that “Wine is the only art you drink. ”The Burgundy region, with its distinct terroir, makes each village unique and separate from the others; indeed, it is not just wine but art in a bottle.     We had the absolute best dinner here! The food was delicious, the service attentive, and it felt like a friendly, neighborhood spot not a trap for tourists. Definitely recommend!

    Excellent food and friendly service. The Restaurant Week menu was a great value, and the added oysters were some of the best we've had in a long time. Everything was fresh, well prepared, nicely presented. Will definitley go back again soon!

    One of the poorest Restaurant Week experiences we had in 2025. The “$39” menu was a doorbuster…once there, most items had a surcharge - e.g. $10 additional for a minute cheesecake. The absolute worst part of this experience is the service. The hostess was the only one who at least tried to figure out why a switch in waitresses meant that desserts were not delivered. Katy was our new waitress who came in at the end and NEVER checked in with us —we waited for 25 minutes and she managed to spill 2 drinks at the table next to us in that time but never even looked at our direction. We had to call her over, explain only 1 dessert had been delivered and then said they since our table had a split check, that there was confusion! Great service - blame the customer for restaurant incompetence! The hostess did get the desserts delivered but again Katy never looked our way to see if we needed anything UNTIL time for the check when she managed to come over with a smile. Guess she will get the tip that should be given to Christina. . Really horrible service - could not even tell you if food was any good based on the service. Would not go back.

    First, we were seated near a bachelorette dinner, so they were over-the-top loud in a small space. All courses came out cold and a bit underwhelming. $40 for a lobster pappardelle with barely one claw meat.

    Second poor experience in two weekends. Both 3 hour dinners, food not as good as used to be. Our other local guests saying same.

    We have gone to this restaurant many times before but not for the past 6 months. This time it was not at all as we have become accustomed to. Service was glacially slow without the slightest attempt on the part of the service person to apologize and recognize the issue. My partner had the filet mignon which was excellent. I had the chicken schnitzel which was oozing grease and virtually inedible.
