Food was great. Drinks are a little pricey but tasted fantastic!
One of our favorite places! Great food and service!
Ye Olde College Inn never disappoints. It's great to get back there after many months of quarantine.
Our first outing since Louisiana started allowing restaurants to have diners inside with tableside service. We were not disappointed! As always, the food was served with the freshest ingredients, the service was excellent and everything tasted delicious.
Superb service and meal. Always consistent and top notch.
We love this restaurant! We love the menu, wait staff and atmosphere. - Melissa Truax
First time out for dinner with this dang virus thing. We really like Ye Old College Inn—food is delicious. Jimmie is the tops as a server.
I feel badly that restaurants have to adhere to the distancing/masking. But everyone was terrific. Maybe someday things can get back to normal. But meanwhile, we’ll be back—love your shrimp & grits 😍
Good to be back! Same place same food great service.
Our experience at College Inn was wonderful!! We dined there the first week they were open since the corona virus stay at home order. The food was as delicious as always. We ate inside and the restaurant was very clean and felt perfectly safe. There was a lot of space between dinners and all the staff wore face masks.
It was so much fun to have a night out and to support a great restaurant like College Inn!
Very nice, not as many people due to distancing but a lovely experience.
Very good food. Great service.
loveeeee college inn
Amazing as always
We had a wonderful meal. The soft shell crab appetizer was amazing as was the oyster bleu.
We had the veal entree and the catch of the day. Both meals were excellent.
Jimmy was our server, excellent as always.
It was great to be back.
Great service, delicious food and love the neighborhood feel of the restaurant. The owner was so gracious and thanked us for coming!
The moment we sat down I knew this was a spot I’d come back to. Every bite was delicious, the service was great, atmosphere was even better. This is a must try!!
Our waiter Jimmy is always the best!
It was ok for a party of 14 upstairs, but it was a bit cramped. Food was very good though. Service was fine.
The food was great and this would definitely be a place to go with friends. If you plan on going to Rock ‘n Bowl, it’s perfect. However, not a good place for a date. It was too noisy.
Great choice for entertaining friends from out of town as the food is excellent, and the menu offers a wide variety.
Service was great and appetizers and desserts in particular were wonderful!
Fun place for tourists that want to experience New Orleans cuisine.
Great and fast service. Fried oyster blue cheese salad was delicious and highly recommend the drum!
The atmosphere was quite comfortable, casual and the white tablecloths was a nice touch. Our service was personable and efficient. He also helped us with our selections as it was my first time there, which we greatly appreciated. Our table had seafood and we were not disappointed. It was a great experience and look forward to going again when I am in town.
Jimmy was our waiter once again - and he is awesome. He is personable & extremely well versed in the menu & daily specials. The food is superb & we loved every entree we ordered. You will not be disappointed!
Excellent as always!
Everything was superb. Our waiter was Jimmy and he was attentive and very knowledgeable of the menu. Crawfish Mac and Cheese was a meal by itself. Onion rings were hot, crispy and delicious. Shrimp and grits, Catch of the Day (black drum) and the Fried Green Tomato and Shrimp Poboy w/Remoulade Sauce were all as good as southern cooking gets. It had been several years since we'd dined here and I'm not sure why it took us so long to come back but we'll definitely be visiting again SOON.
I realize it was the Sat before Mardi Gras but there's no excuse for our bad meal. While I really enjoyed the look and feel of the restaurant, the food was all underwhelming. The crab Marne app was not edible and the BBQ shrimp which the menu said was jumbo gulf shrimp were small enough to have to dig for and only about 6 tiny little half-bites. They were swimming in a uninspired sauce that totally overwhelmed them. Bread tough and stale.
My fish of the day was very bland - luckily my partner had crab topping his so I snagged some to make my fish palatable.
The "special" strawberry margarita was not well executed. The too-large hunks of strawberry made it unpleasant. How can you ruin a margarita???
My flourless chocolate cake was too dense and topped with a very sticky, gummy icing.
Would never recommend.
A welcome respite from the chaos of Mardi Gras weekend in New Orleans. Thanks for a lovely meal.
We had the rare opportunity to have lunch at one of our favorite restaurants in the city!!! Loved it💜💚🤩!!!
Food was amazing! We were out of town and celebrating my boyfriend’s birthday, easy to find and would definitely come back!
Was seated quickly even before our reservation time. Service was prompt and food was good.
