Five of us had dinner at Yabba Island Grill, and had a wonderful evening. Our drinks were delicious. The menu was expansive and we all found something we wanted to try. We were all thrilled with our entrees, both the presentation and the tastes were amazing. Can't wait to go back. Thank you.
After our recent visit don’t think I would return. Had to wait nearly an hour for our meal. Server came to say that the kitchen was “backed up” after about 45 minutes. Food when it arrived was mediocre. We usually make a point of visiting Yabbas when on vacation from the UK as it has always been one of our favourite restaurants but feel that the menu over the last 2/3 years has changed away from the Caribbean feel that there used to be and is now offering dishes that are the same as other nearby restaurants.
Excellent food and service. Samantha is a great waitress.
Food can be good but not consistent. I had the cedar plank salmon dish.... very good. Someone else at our table had steak and it wasn’t seared at all and very grisly. They do not serve a bread basket of any kind which is in poor taste
Great food and service. One of our favorite restaurants on 5th Ave.
Loud band playing, couldn’t even talk. Was my Birthday, did not even acknowledge. Salmon served raw, returned it and cane back dry and over cooked. Would never go again.
We recently went to Yabba Grill with friends. The food was excellent. We had the tuna tartare appetizer to share and it was great. Our waitress informed us that the salads were large and shareable, we had the kale caesar. The menu was half priced so our bill with tax and tip, including a bottle of wine and drinks at the table, was about $120 per couple. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars was that I ordered the swordfish and it was a bit dry and not as flavorful as I have had other times. But overall, we would go again.
The food was fair, our seafood was overcooked. My husband's water glass had a chip in it. The waiter was friendly. Would likely not dine here again
Went for the early dining. My fish entree and vegetable were cold and nothing special.
Thought it wasn’t as good as previous years. Happy hour dining is only for a half hour. 5:30 to 6 pm. No more bread for the table unless you pay $3.50. Place was empty. Now i know why. Our wait staff just stood in back talking. Tried to get his attention many times. The hostess finally came over to help.
Great bartenders, staff and food. One of our favorite spots in Naples!
My husband and I had a delicious dinner with excellent service. This is one of our favorite restaurants on 5th!
the 50% off was so limited, not worth the trip. orderded chopped salad to share with my husband. Salad not chopped. Gave us an extra dish but they could have split it for us in kitchen like Bice!!!
I am afraid, buy Yabba is off my list.
Food was delicious.
Roberto was an amazing waiter--clever, funny, attentive and knowledgeable. The atmosphere was really wonderful--island yes--but upscale island. The fish was very fresh and well-cooked--the wine selection/price was excellent. We were there for a dinner special---superb value!
early bird dinner was v. good.
bar bites were a good value also.
bartender, Kevin, was v helpful!!
We had a wonderful dinner, polite staff and great service.
Our favorite place in Naples. Consistently great food and good service. A huge disappointment was the discontinuation of bread before the meal. With most entrees in the mid 20’s to 30’s, a small bread basket should be included, not available at extra cost. Hopefully someone from the restaurant will read this review and bring it back.
If you are on 5th this is a good choice. I liked that they had some great combination plates or the half lobster.
We have eaten at Yabba's many times and the past few times have not been very good, especially the last time.
We ate outside and had a wonderful meal. All three of us ordered fish and every dish was great.
Food was not great. Ambiance and service was nice, but food was definitely sub par.
Nothing beats Yabba's Sunset Early Dining. The freshest seafood around and other fares at 50% off! I can't even make it at home for this price! Great value...grilled salmon is awesome!
Fun and dynamic dining option in the middle of Downtown Naples! Try the sweet potato fries with any meal - great to share!
You should update your website, especially for season/times for happy hour
The service was great and the food and drinks were very good.
My Review of Yabba is 90% due to the front of the house . Both women we encountered were not friendly and seemed as if they could Care less we were there . We arrived at 5:25 for a 5:30 reservation . We were told we could not be seated because I guess they start dinner at 5:30. So they told us to go to the bar were we ordered 1 Stella and 1 pino Grigio . Our bar bill was $19! But the bartenders were really nice. Anyway no one ever came for us to go to our table ( restaurant was pretty empty ) so around 6 we went back to the desk and we met the second woman who barked “ did you have reservations !” Eventually took us to a table . So from that point on I have to say our waiter ( wish I could remember his name ) was excellent ! Super friendly and attentive . The dinners were very ok . I got the tuna crunchy salad . It really had no taste and my husband got a chicken dish with tons of a yellow sauce on it . It was gross . We really wanted to like this place but unfortunately there are too many other places to try .
Always have a good meal at Yabba. Love the menu! We frequent Yabba often with friends and visitors from out of town as it is a good reliable place to eat.
The waiter Chris is fantastic. We recently started coming here and it’s now one of our favorites.
Modest but adequate menu choices. Entrees well prepared, tasty, reasonably priced. Attractive atmosphere. Choice of indoor or outdoor covered dining. Good sized bar.
We love this restaurant.......service, food and atmosphere are great.
My family and I have been coming to Yabba for many years now. From the time you are seated until you leave, the service is exceptional. The wait staff is very attentive and friendly. The food is always fresh and cooked to our liking. The chef does change the menu so if you visit on a regular basis you will have new options. There are bar specials prior to dining but those bar specials carry over during the first hour of table service which is nice if you do not like to sit at the bar. The meal presentation is done beautifully and the flavor of the food is always just perfect- from burgers to steak to fish or chicken all are wonderful! We do miss having bread on the table now that they are charging for the corn muffins that were complimentary but I guess people were taking advantage. Dessert is delicious and so are the martinis. If you are on 5 th Ave in Naples you should try Yabba because you will not be disappointed.
New menu is not as good and overall the food quality has gone down recently. Used to be one of my favorites in Naples but I will not be returning.
It was ok and close to the Sugden. Food was ok but not outstanding
Dinner was good. Server was excellent. Would go there again. Nice downtown location near theater.
I am sorry to say that we will not be returning to Yabba Island Grill. We have gone there several times over the past few years, we have brought friends with us and also recommended Yabba. However, the past few times we went there, the service was not very good and they have also changed the menu and eliminated some the very dishes that we would go there for. We arrived at 5:18 with a 5:30 reservation and they would not seat us until exactly 5:30. They also had all the front doors open. It was explained to us that they had no choice in that, the owner wants the doors open. I was in the 90's and it was humid. The restaurant was humid even with the air on. This is suppose to be a better restaurant on 5th Ave, in Naples FL. We use to love them, they were one of our most favorite places, but now we will not return and we will not recommend them to anyone.
I was pleasantly surprised with their filet! My husband's salmon was buttery delicious!
Love this place, always good and a friendly place to take a young family on 5th.
A totally enjoyable experience. The service was exceptional and the food delicious. At happy hour prices, you can't go wrong.
Enjoyed my meal, but feel they should serve a nice crusty bread with the meal
