    We actually never ate. When we walked in it was super warm inside and I understand opening all the beautiful doors and windows to let the fresh air in, but it was stuffy and beyond uncomfortable. After we were seated, we waited 15 minutes to be greeted by anybody and then we’re just given menus and told that the server would be coming back. We waited another 15 minutes & the server never returned. We overheard him talking to other tables that were complaining about various things with the service. At a very high-end steakhouse in the center of Waikiki, you would think they would have their act together and be on their A-game. For people to spend that type of money that get spent at these restaurants, there should be no lack of air-conditioning, customer service, and things should be done in a timely fashion. We ended up walking out and went to another more local steakhouse and had the best time! If you are curious, about where we ate, it was Hy’s Steakhouse, and I will never return to Wolfgang Steakhouse in Waikiki. Upon walking out, my husband tried to speak with the manager, who looked at him with the blink stare and had nothing to say. so out we went to Hy’s.

    Marcus and Greg were very attentive. Food was great. First time there for my friends, they really enjoyed the experience! Thank you!

    Service from Candy was exceptional. The welcoming experience was awful. Some woman we couldn't understand was trying to explain menus. Gentleman was surly - never smiled. We didn't feel welcomed at all and we are local and dine there frequently.

    Always a pleasure dining at Wolfgang's Steakhouse Waikiki. Service, food and ambiance are always top notch. Lunch menu is moderately priced but dinner menu is also available during lunch hours. With generous portions, great food and excellent service it’s a perfect place for friends, family or business lunches. Highly recommended. Good job and thank you. We will be back.

    Negative - Steak had a lot of fat and not very flavorful. Positive - large portions, however they went to waste because we are in a hotel.

    When I tried to give my name and reservation time at the reception, I was ignored and had to deal with other customers who had arrived later. All the other customers who were waiting outside like us had gone inside and we were the only ones there, but our names hadn't been called even 10 minutes after our reservation time. When I asked the Japanese-speaking woman at the reception about this, she simply said, "Wait a moment." In the end, we ended up entering the restaurant 15 minutes after our reservation time, and they were slow to come to take our order. I have been to this restaurant over 10 times and the decline in service is clearly visible. As I work in the service industry, I would not recommend this to friends or customers and I will not visit this restaurant myself.

    I was very satisfied with the quality of the steak, but the service seemed sloppy, it was like just for tourists. It may be inevitable since it's Waikiki, but even though it was dinner time, there were many customers dressed casually in denim shorts and T-shirts, which put me off. A small child pointed at the appetizer that was brought to our table and loudly said that they had the same thing. It was a bit disappointing for a place to enjoy a meal, even though we paid a not-so-cheap price.
