   Our waitress, Sierra, was one of the worst I’ve ever had. She kept trying to guilt/shame us into ordering either more food (which we did NOT need because we ended up with more than enough) or shame us into ordering more expensive items. Other staff members were great and the food was good. Four of us shared two steaks which was plenty because they were 30+oz steaks. With three sides and one appetizer we didn’t even finish everything.

   I've been frequenting this establishment for years, taking friends visiting the island, clients, family meals, etc. I've always had my regular wait staff that made every meal feel special. It's been about a year since we came back and I have to say today, I was pretty disappointed. The prices for my normal lunch has doubled over the past year and to be honest, I feel the quality has as well. The taste of NY was always my go to but today it seemed mediocre at best. You'd think if the price doubled, maybe the quality would be improved as well. Don't get me wrong, it wasn't bad. Just meh. The new faces serving were nice and accommodating. The burger and loco moco satisfied my guests but the two steaks were just alright. You're no longer getting a deal for a great steak. Your paying fine dining prices for just ok. I'd rather spend the money for a steak at La Mer, Mortons, Hy's, or anywhere really. Ambiance was hard to judge. They're under construction so I don't want to be too harsh. What I do want to comment on was the heat. It was incredibly warm indoors. Borderline sweating at the table. Really, the only reason they still get 3 stars is because the wait staff was great. Pretty hard to come by these days.

   食事も雰囲気も良かったです。 日本人女性にありがちだと思いますが、量が多すぎてて食べきれず半分近くは持ち帰りました。すぐにBoxに詰めてもらえるのは助かります。

   We ordered the tomahawk to share it was exceptionally cooked. The German potatoes were wonderful we weren’t a fan of the lobster Mac and cheese that’s usually what I do like at other restaurants. The drinks were strong and good 😊 we had a great time!

   The atmosphere of the restaurant was good, and the staff were all friendly. The steak was especially delicious and the German potato dish was delicious. It was clean and very satisfying.

   Definitely a must go to restaurant when in honolulu. Considering the prices of food at every ordinary family restaurant or bar this is comparative but way less noisy, and way less queues and way better quality food. They do amazing cocktails cheaper than hotel bars. I will definitely be back.

    Our server is very accommodating and took good care of our needs. She always check on us which is quite surprising because most restaurant rarely do that kind of service. Very good dining experience.

    The service staff was just awesome! They were right there each time we needed something or a refill. They kept wonderful conversation with us, and made sure we were well taken care of. You cannot beat this kind of service. I also haven't been there in a long time, and one of the staff members remembered me from years past. How wonderful is that!! Don't you think they pay attention to who comes? GREAT!!!

    Food was good, service was excellent. We went for Mother's Day at lunch time - they didn't have any Mother's Day specials, but that was not an issue. We ordered what we wanted and enjoyed our meals. Our waiter was great - not hovering, but not neglectful. Initially the patio doors were open, giving us a nice breeze, but as the afternoon progressed they closed them (we assumed due to traffic noise). This was fine as the restaurant had a/c. Background music was not overwhelming and we could hear each other across the table just fine.

    when we arrived for our reservation we were told to wait outside and they’ll call us in when our table is set up. we were waiting outside for 20 minutes before we asked what’s the hold up and they asked us if were ready….we’ve been ready. the food was overpriced for the flavor. I would’ve gone somewhere else if it wasn’t mothers day and every where else was busy.

    The ambience and service were excellent. We got a tomahawk steak and it was good but not great. The Caesar was very good. Sides were average. Overall it was a very good meal but not worth the prices they charge. There are other steak houses in Waikiki that charge about the same but have much better food.

    娘と2人で行きましたが、前菜、サラダ、メイン、と2つずつ選んでいると、店員さんが、「それでは多すぎる」とアドバイスをくれ、１つずつにすると、本当にすごいボリュームでちょうどでした。 全て２皿に分けて出してくれて食べやすかったです 味も最高でした！

    5年ぶりに行きましたが前より接客が雑になった気がした。 カットしたステーキに脂身がついてて前は絶対そんなことなかったから少しショックを受けた。 肉の味は美味しかったけど前ほどではない気がした(自分が大人になってしまったのか？) 値段は上がったのでまた行くかはわからない

    This what the worst meal we have all weak in Hawii, ordered lobster Mac and cheese, sautéed broccoli and the tomahawk steak. Everything was so bland and unseasoned. The only thing that helped the broccoli was the garlic everything else was horrible. We dined for less than an hour and left most of our meal they offered take out boxes but I wouldn’t even think of taking his food to go. The restaurant it self looks run down and old. For the price you are paying you expect way more from this place they can’t even get. Steak tempture right. I should have read the reviews on yelp first. This was super disappointing.

    The food was wonderful, the servers were great. The steak was absolutely delicious. We had the ribeye. appetizers were amazing. It’s a very classy restaurant that you won’t regret dining out. It’s also very easily located in the third floor of the royal Hawaiian shopping center so it makes it super easy from most hotels along the coast of Waikiki.

    The Porterhouse was the best I’ve had in a long time In addition to the excellent food and service Wolfgang, the owner, came over to our table to chat for a bit. We are both New Yorkers and had a lovely conversation about what NYC was like years ago.

    don’t get the salmon. i’m from the midwest and the salmon i get from the seafood counter at my local chain grocery store and cook myself at home tastes 100x better.
