Our waiter, Jen was fantastic and the food was delicious!!
If you are in Wailea you must reserve a table at Spago’s. The meal, service and ambience was amazing! Try the Omakase Paltter, you will not regret it as the sashimi melts in your mouth. The roasted Evonuk Farm’s Beets are also wonderful! If you like curries, order the Pineapple - Coconut Red Curry with Kauai Prawn, Mahi Mahi and Thai basil. It has just the right amount of space but chocked with great flavors. The Mahi Mahi with roasted macadamia nut, Molokai yam and ginger butter was awesome as well. Great wine list and if you are a desert lover, order the chocolate soufflé.
Not the place to go on a windy evening (bring a jacket!!!)... it was like eating in a wind tunnel with the sun shining directly into your eyes. I’m a local and was stunned by all of the over $100 menu items... I understand Spago is famous, but really... $135 for the rack of lamb??? I had the red curry and the mahi mahi was overcooked and there was very little flavor to it. I did like the three types of chutney, especially the coconut one. Feel free to go to say you’ve eaten at “Wolfgang Puck’s Spago,” however I think there are several other restaurants that have better food and ambiance, and that are more affordable.
Loved our special honeymoon/anniversary dinner. Incredible staff and delicious food and wine. Incredible evening.
The food was very good and our server P
Always incredible food, service and views! We had the chicken and the salmon this time and both were delicious. Will keep coming back, over and over!
Delicious food and drink with excellent service
Everything was great, love this place!
They sat us next to a
I thought this restaurant had very tasty food. Menu was limited however given Covid completely understand.
Great food and drinks... timing was off with our reservation. Had to wait a good 40 minutes with our 8 pm reservation.
Awesome meal at a great table to see the sunset. Great food, well timed to let us enjoy our wine. Great wine list not overpriced at a place where everything is overpriced.
Food and service was excellent. All other meals I ate this week pales in comparison to Spago. I cannot wait to return.
They were 20 minutes late seating us for our reservation, terrible oversized table in the middle of the room, fish appetizer was not fresh tasting and expensive. I just wanted to leave.
Sry very windy night for outside. Asked to move in but they said no. Apps were good. Entrees ok used to be better. Main issue was that there were a ton of children that the woke parents did not control at all. What happened to parents keeping their kids online if they for some reason took them to a non kids restaurants. Pathetic. Service was ok but nothing special. Very expensive for the quality a d experience.
Excellent & Excellent. Food and staff were amazing
Just fabulous!!!! We love dining at Spago's at Four Seasons. It is one of our favorite restaurants on Maui.
Great restaurant with outstanding service and food! We had an amazing experience
Although our server Nicole was great and really tried her best...her team failed her.
Our wine was corked. We asked her to allow the sommelier to confirm. Instead of promptly addressing our issue, we waited and waited for a second bottle of wine. It arrived as our main meal was being served. The sommelier didn’t not visit us to recommend a different wine...he left it up to our server to relay his message.
We have NEVER had that happen to us in any restaurant.
I found it insulting and disregarding.
It was amazing food and ambiance
If you’re going for sunset views I wouldn’t recommend
Food server ruby was personable amd knowledgeable about all food we ordered!
Everything was Great!
We went to this great restaurant for dinner last night and it was the best dinner there so far! The sashimi was so delectable and super fresh! The beet salad with goat cheese and candied macadamias and watercress was farm to table with a light citrus dressing. Now the New York steak was cooked to our delight and tender with a subtle bbq sauce. Now, for my favorite part! The chocolate soufflé was absolutely a dark chocolate dream come true served with homemade chocolate sauce, vanilla ice cream and fresh whip cream all served on the side. 2 glasses of champagne sealed the deal! You will love the service and food but the back drop snd views make the meal even more perfect. You must visit this place for dinner! Make reservations in advance and don't skimp on what to eat. A bit pricy but so so worth it!
For the price point, we expected more. Was supposed to be a special night out for us, but it was just mediocre at best. The appetizer Hamachi was great but the main entrees were sorely lacking in every way. Won’t be rushing back.
Wonderful food, service, wine,
We have eaten at Spago every year for the past 5. Another wonderful experience. Excellent food, fabulous service. A must in Maui
The view and the ambience are phenomenal. Unfortunately, the food was just average, especially for the price paid. There are much better options in Maui.
Great food, great service, great atmosphere. Highly recommend. Everything was amazing. Fresh fresh was delicious. The bread was soft, warm, and tasted great. We had an amazing chocolate cake and an espresso martini. Definitely will return!!
Jeb is the best waiter. He made our dining experience one for the books. Food was phenomenal as well.
Local Maui residents. First time to Spago did not disappoint. Fresh Sushi platter was incredible, so fresh & plentiful. Steak was amazing. Service was good and we enjoyed the atmosphere. A bit pricey but worth it.
Beautiful table for our Anniversry!
The service was amazing-
The best food on the island!
Great food, great service, great experience!
Spago was a great disappointment, the worst of the five restaurants we visited for dinners during a recent vacation in Wailea. The ambiance was terrible, with American pop music playing so loudly that it drowned out the natural sounds (birds, waves breaking) and forced the volume of conversations to an unpleasant level. The service was very busy, with people rushing around to turn tables but no one stopping by to pour wine . The wine list, by the way, is meant to impress but very badly priced. It is as if the inventory of hard-to-find bottles is replaced frequently at current retail prices rather than cellared and curated. In other words, there is no justification for the prices on the list. They were as much as 50 times what I paid for the same wines when I purchased them for my own cellar. The food was the best element of the experience but it was just good, and not as good as at other restaurants in the area.
Came to the restaurant back In November and the food and ambiance were good, but the service was less than adequate. This time the service and food were both wonderful, and of course, tables overlooking the Maui sunset are never a bad idea. Our server, Matt, also acts as one of their sommeliers. He really understands the menu and the extensive wine list. Recommend asking for him if he is available. Great overall experience!
Great food and service. Would go back again. It was a little loud but lighting and ambiance was good.
Incredible service and sunset- food was lacking flavor
Delicious all around. Service felt a bit pushy and rushed for fine dining.
Wonderful restaurant and outdoor dining experience. Our waitress was superb. She went above and beyond to secure the last piece of the special cut of steak we had wanted for our entree. And it was superb. Cocktails were wonderful. Unfortunate due to almost one hour drive back to our resort we were not able to partake in their extensive wine selections. Bread and butter were nice. Appetizers of the lobster cerviche and Bolognese pasta were very tasty. The chocolate soufflé was out of the world. It’s a little pricy but in line with the caliber of dining experience there. Would definitely return when we visit Maui again.
The only thing we didn’t absolutely love at the Four Seasons Maui was our dinner at Spago. The food is just mediocre. However, the view is spectacular and they had a very nice wine list.
We visit Spago every year in Wailea. Our table had a beautiful view and the hostess was quite friendly. The food was excellent as usual. The only disappointment was our server who would disappear for at least 30 minutes several times during the meal. Literally took us almost 3 hours. Don’t like to be rushed, but this was irritating. Other than that it was a great night.
