The Easter brunch was wonderful. A new tradition.
When I made the reservation, there wasn’t any mention about a set Easter brunch price. When we sat down, we were provided the menu and they explained it was a brunch and then we order one hot item. There wasn’t any price on the menu or mention of the price. We got our check and it was $47 each, which was very disappointing since we err never told about the cost at any time and it was written anywhere and not on the website. The food was fine but limited selection and the dessert was plain ice cream. It was a great setting with nice ambiance but not worth the cost. Very disappointing Easter experience.
Great location, friendly staff, and good food. I’ll be back.
Great brunch as always at Willow Creek. Love the food, mimosas and ambiance.
Our dinner was amazing. We started out with the gnocchi appetizer and oysters followed by the chicken and fantastic skate fish special for the evening. Wine selection has plenty of options for all budgets. The service was also wonderful. We will be back again!
Love this place..today lunch on the patio with the awesome lakeside view
we have been to Willow Creek at times when there were a lot of people and it was noisy. The location is great, the food fabulous and presentation beautiful. No wonder it's so popular. Well worth the journey to get there.
We always have a great time! Getting to see the Bald Eagle fly around the lake was a huge bonus! Great staff and amazing food every time!
First time at Willow Creek. Pleasant waitstaff, food was very good, noise level more like that of a tavern/bar, but not too bad. View was nice enough ( April ) looking out at Evergreen Lake, although I'm sure it's better in any other season. Price was kind of high. Overall a nice place, but we have eaten at other Evergreen restaurants that had as good of entrees at much less cost.
Our fave spot in Evergreen. We can always count on consistency in the menu, wine selection, service and
atmosphere. Love this place!
This is one of my family's favorite places to have lunch/brunch. My mom loved this place whenever she and my dad came to visit me. Unfortunately she passed not too long ago, so my dad on his first trip back to visit me solo...well, we had to come and have brunch here in honor and memory of my mom. The view is so lovely and the service is extremely friendly. The only feedback I would provide is call the restaurant just in case you don't see the time you want for an Open Table reservation. We wanted a rezzo at 11am when they opened, but OT said they only had an 11:45am. We arrived at the restaurant early, and found it very easy to get a table right then. We had a lovely brunch and will come back again for sure.
Great meal with an awesome view. Friendly attentive service. I will be back soon!
Wonderful as always
As always Willow Creek is wonderful. We came to celebrate a birthday and because it was schnitzel Thursday. We have never had schnitzel at WC up it was excellent. Crispy, generous portions serviced with German potato salad and a melange of mustard greens and bacon. Although it was on the comfort food side of the scale, there was nothing basic or boring about it. My favourite type of dinner out. They let us order two desserts with a selection of cheeses (a cross between the dessert and cheese tray.) Way too indulgent but excellent. You could practically make a meal from that alone.
Friends from Evergreen invited me to lunch. Willow creek came to mind for the scenic view. We met and greeted by George who was also our waiter.
George provided the daily specials and suggested the chicken salad, their salad special.
We took the suggestion and another in our party ordered Fish and Chips with Truffle fries.
The food was phenomenal, beautifully plated and very tasty. Needless to say, we finished every bite.
George, our waiter, was professional, friendly and attentive. Thank you
We had a wonderful lunch, visiting and reconnecting.
We finished the meal with a shared dessert, Tiramisu. Also spectacular, sweet and just the best to finish a great meal.
We will be back! Keep up the great job.
The food, service, the experience was excellent! We enjoy coming here.
Great service. Food was very good and the selection was also. We went for brunch. Two of us had the French toast and gave it a great thumbs up. I had eggs and bacon (I know boring) but it was also delicious. We will return.
Celebrated birthday lunch. Food was great as well as atmosphere
Willow Creek is absolutely our favorite restaurant in this area. We met the owners a while ago, and they are incredibly nice people. Curtis is a terrific, creative chef, and his wife, Kristopher, is outgoing, super friendly, and she does an amazing job of promoting the restaurant. This place is as good as, if not better than, the fine restaurants we go to in Denver. Service and ambiance are great, and the food is incredible. To top it off, the view overlooking Evergreen Lake is outstanding!
The food was ok. Wine, Service, Ambiance were great. Trout was just ok the night we were there.
We had a great brunch today. Food was top notch. Service was super friendly and helpful. We are looking forward to returning.
As for setting maybe one of the best in the state. No matter the season beautiful view. Unfortunately menu is tired, dated and overpriced for the offerings.
This restaurant is always amazing, great food and wonderful staff. It’s our favorite place in Denver.
We were placed at a table in the middle of the room where all servers walked past us. There was a door open somewhere in the kitchen that sent a cold breeze across me. I had to wear a jacket all evening. We ordered our food and it didn't come for 45 minutes. The waitress apologized and offered us an extra glass of wine or dessert. I chose the wine and my companion chose the dessert. My wine was brought, then we were told only one thing could be complimentary, so no dessert. The meal was good but not wonderful.
Great food, great service, and enjoyed the ambiance!
The best restaurant in Evergreen!! Took friends with us and they loved it!!
Great food and service
It was a lovely and quiet evening. We were very lucky to have a “secret” coupon to enjoy dinner. The majority of our food was very good. Our server was Andrew and he was very attentive and professional and friendly. His knowledge of our dishes was helpful.
Wow! Very delicious. The Mardi Gras Gumbo had an amazing richness from the great roux and stock. The Brandade Fritters were out this world with Proscuitto, Piquillo Peppers, Herb Remoulade, and Smoky Paprika Oil. The Scallop entree and the Beef Duet were amazing and perfectly cooked.
The food was great, but way overpriced. I took my wife there for her 70th birthday and did mention it to host at door, but nothing was done for her. 5280special was over $ 100 and did not include wine or dessert.
Call and see if they have whats on the menu that you want, second day of resturant week and they were out of three menu items. Remind em to bring you a salad
We had a fantastic evening. The food and service was phenomenal.
My husband and I came here for a romantic night out. We were disappointed in everything but the gnocchi. The Caesar salad had way too much dressing on it and both my husband and I found the the end of the romaine lettuce in our salad. The scallop and risotto was not very good. It wasn’t very flavorful and the risotto was over cooked. The gnocchi was delicious!! The service was okay. It took a long time to get our drinks but everything else was okay. The server was good but didn’t have much of a personality. We felt like we spend way too much money for what we got.
Beet salad was best I ever had!
Have been patronizing WCR for many years. The last 3 or 4 times here it has become clear that the food quality and the value, given the decline in quality, is just no longer there. great location, great ambiance, great people....but you still need to produce high quality food that is either creative and good or solidly tasty and exceptional. This restaurant has lost its way and needs a serious reboot and evaluation of its purpose.
Beautiful location to see the lake. The service was awesome and the food was very good. The wine list was extensive and had some nice selections.
Awesome brunch. Service was outstanding. Bar tender was also our server. He made a “surprise “ cocktail for one of my friends that was outstanding. I look forward to going back for dinner soon.
This is my absolute favorite place to eat in all of colorado. I typically have a 5 star experience every time but this visit wasn’t quite the same. My SM brut was flat and my beet salad w/ scallops wasn’t as plentiful as past experiences (still delicious as ever.) Of course i’ll be back (likely next weekend,) and have the same thing i order time and time again with the hope it’s as amazing as previous visits. Thanks!
We thought the menu was a bit limited, but overall the food was good. The scallop udon dish was tasty but there were only two scallops in the bowl (plus one pickled scallop, which was interesting but I could do without the pickling). Biggest complaint is that we definitely felt a wave of cold air coming in every time the door opened, and we were seated towards the middle of the restaurant. If you go on a cold night ask to sit near the fireplace...
We love everything about Willow Creek. Whether you score a seat at the bar or reserve a table, the ambiance is always charming, warm and inviting. The food is consistently fresh, seasonal and of high quality. There seems to always be something new on the menu to try which never disappoints. The wait staff is appropriately attentive and friendly. We enjoy trying the growing restaurant scene in Denver but when we choose to stay close to home, Willow Creek gives us the same quality of experience.
