Westbank Grill @ Four Seasons Jackson Hole
This restaurant is in the 4 Seasons resort and was promoted as a fine dining restaurant . Unfortunately the atmosphere is like being at an
all inclusive casual family restaurant with the servers in basic drab uniforms with the staff doing their best and were very friendly. The decor is lovely . If you are staying there with your family , children great but dont make it a destination restaurant by any means.
Good for "lunch with a view"... Convenient if you are either staying at the hotel, or there for ski in an ski out.
Had reservations and the table was not ready for at 15 minutes. Was told it was a preferred table and it was not, disappointed as it was our Anniversary. Very loud for dinner dining.
It was a good night, meals were good, but service a little over bearing and then at times absent. Waitress was moody, had no idea that there was no Pinot Grigio on the wine list except on the “ by glass” menu and she was unhelpful when I pushed her to show me. Staff are also taught to push mineral water on you, rather than tap water so she was irritated when we chose tap over bottle.
The meal was expensive after 20% tips which I am not sure was deserved but you get duty looks if you do not too especially at the 4 seasons!!
Would I go back, possibly not.
Both meals had very good meat - one venison and one ribeye. All of our sides were poorly executed, but the bread was good. Ricotta appetizer had too little bread or honey, and the menu didn't mention it was mixed with herbs that were not to our liking, and didn't seem necessary. Two-top table was so small it was impractical to order an appetizer and forget being able to manage a wine glass without knocking it over. They need to have special picnic-sized serveware for the two-tops. We were tucked in a bad location and were miserable, needing water refills and finally claustrophobic. Tried to have a nice evening but basically couldn't wait to leave.
Steaks were very disapointing. A 65 dollar NY strip was tough and not flavorfil Don't want to be told we shoud have spent 88 dollars for the wagu beef - should be able to find a good grass fed beef at that price.
The venison medallon was quite tasty. Wine list a bit pricey but good spread of quality
Love the redo of Westbank, so much lighter and airier. Food for lunch always delicious! Great service.
The steak tartar was good but the sauce was very strong and almost overpowered the flavor of the beef. I ordered the trout which unfortunately was overcooked and hence dry. The service was fair--for a high end restaurant I would have expected them to check on us sooner to see if we were enjoying our meal--they did offer to get me something else but at that point I had eaten half of the trout and my husband was half way through his meal and I did not want to wait for a fresh meal. My husband had the elk chop which was very tasty. For dessert we had the cowboy cookie which was delicious (but quite large--great if you want to share with one or 2 others).
Most meals were very good.
However I made the mistake of ordering Sword Fish, which was way below average.
The service waiter was excellent. And noise level acceptable.
I have been to this restaurant many times
AJ is an exceptional waiter! Outstanding service!
Wonderful food and fantastic service.
The venison tenderloin with smoked grits was delicious. Great location at base of mountain. We'll be back!
The food itself was delicious! Other than that, everything else was relatively average. However, the food really made the restaurant memorable.
Good food. Pretty good service. But the prices are really high! You better plan for well over $100/person.
Food and service was very good but I felt rushed.
We made lunch reservations for six people two days before, but were shoe-horned into a table for 4. Our order was not fulfilled correctly on the first go around, although corrected without issue. When we would make a request, wait staff would leave before fully understanding it and, as a result, follow up incorrectly. Maybe stretched too thin or dealing with a language barrier. In any event, on this visit, things were not Four Seasons caliber nor up to WB Grill's historical standards.
Awesome dining experience from food to service. Well timed and just so enjoyable!
Took them one hour to take our order and took another hour to bring our food - poor food quality
Westbank has gone downhill
Used to have good food for a price
Now it’s small portions bad food and overpriced
New ownership doesn’t get it
Birthday for mom:) lovely space!
Overpriced, yet average-to-good food. We expected GREAT food for the price.
Ok so had a dinner last week that was disappointing. Which was surprising. The manager called me invited us back in, and I will say back to their normal excellence. Everyone has a bad night, but they more than made up for it. Food and service was excellent. Which made us so happy because this in one our favorite places to eat in Jackson Hole. Thanks again!
I have been going to this restaurant for years. Not sure what is is happening now, but food quality changed. Ordered steak medium rare, came out well done. Salad was mushy. Bread was hard. It took a really long time for the food to come out, that we actually had to flag the waitress down to ask about it. Then when the food came out, no one came over for such a long time it was not worth sending it back. They did however take it the over done steak off our tab. I say I would recommend it because it has been great in the past , so will try again.
My girlfriend and I shared the truffle Mac n cheese. I had the pan roasted chicken and had a steak. Everything was great except I thought that my rice was a little salty. I’d definitely eat here again.
Fantastic Thanksgiving buffet. The best turkey and stuffing I have ever had. Beautiful atmosphere as well. This will become a holiday tradition!
Service was phenomenal. Thanksgiving buffet was excellent but needed gravy, more turkey accessibility and we thought there would be an omelet station.
This was our second visit from New Orleans to the Westbank Grill for their Thanksgiving lunch. Everything was delicious. A wonderful variety of food. Definitely recommend!
Great off-season test kitchen menus. Reasonably priced for 4 dishes. Portions are pretty good too.
Wonderful in every respect. Great food, service and experience! Highly recommend!!
Amazing! Really loved it.
Came for my 6-year anniversary dinner while vacationing in Jackson Hole. The restaurant was beautiful, quiet and romantic. Our waitress was lovely. We were treated to an anniversary dessert, which was a nice surprise. We wanted to try a variety of items on the menu so they split everything into two beautifully presented plates. Would highly recommend.
Posh restaurant in the Four Seasons hotel. It is quite compact yet roomy with great views of the mountainside and gondola lift area. Staff is very attentive.
We are going back for a second time this week before we leave Jackson. Great environment , meal and service.
On a very busy Friday evening, we were treated to very attentive service and well turned out food, particularly the shrimp/crab cocktail and grass-fed ribeye steak, cooked to perfection. The spicy margaritas were also excellent. Besides our very attentive waiter, we were checked on frequently by the manager, who constantly rotated among the tables to be sure the food and service were up to par.
The food was cold and not flavorful
Extremely attentive staff catering to your every need. Food was great and a lot of different takes on some items.
Ate outside on deck with firepit nearby. Wonderful service, excellent wine, great food. Elk tenderloin was some of the best I have tasted. Wife had salmon which was excellent as well. Warm chocolate chip cookie with ice cream topped off a wonderful evening.
Wow! What a completely different experience than when we dined at Four Seasons about a month ago. AJ was our server and he was outstanding. He has an extensive knowledge of wine and my husband was thrilled to have a conversation with him. The appetizers were lovely-- presentation was fantastic.
We both ordered sea bass and agreed it was a little dry, but still enjoyed it. The overall service this time was fantastic... not only AJ, but the entire staff we very attentive.
Celebrating an upcoming wedding
Our server, Katrina, was excellent! She made it such a wonderful experience.
