We have so much to offer at The Wandle. We were previously known as the Puzzle and have transformed ourselves into a truly independent pub in Earlsfield. We lead with great food, eclectic and exciting drinks, not to mention our dazzling personality, fantastic service and beautiful beer garden.

Here at the Wandle, named after our famous newly cleaned, fish breeding river, we endeavour to help you escape the hustle and bustle of everyday life, surrounding you in comfort where you can truly kick back and relax!

    Cool vibe for sport, especially the rugby. Prices are the same as the majority of pubs in the area. BUT, They messed up our booking. They gave our table to another group who got there before us… then gave their table away too! So when we arrived, there was no table left. The staff just said “sorry” but didn’t really do anything to fix it. We had to sort it out ourselves – luckily we managed in the end. I didn’t want to ruin our time there so didn’t kick up a fuss, but on reflection, it really wasn’t good enough.

    Delicious food - sandwiches are great! Service excellent and a super pup to watch any sport in their beer garden. Highly recommend.

    It was lovely to watch the rugby in such a friendly and welcoming environment. Win, lose or draw, this is a lekker place with fantastic staff and a great crowd. Wr shall certainly be coming back.

    The food was absolutely atrocious - totally burnt, overcooked and bland. The manager and waiter were great in sorting it all out (we weren’t charged for 3/5 meals) which was much appreciated, although I cannot understand how the chef allowed the food to leave the kitchen looking as burnt as it did. I’ve been to the wandle many times for drinks over the years, which I’ll continue to do, but I won’t ever eat there again.

    Went for first time since last year, you now have to order from the bar which no one told us, and had to queue up at the bar just to let people know we had a lunch reservation. Food was nice but didn’t feel looked after considering the price of a roast and drinks.
