John was great! Great service, food was fantastic!
Loved everything. Best I’ve had there Location is great for me
Great food and service!!
Filet was tougher than boot leather at $46/8oz and pork chop was tasty but tough too. Should have been sous vide then grilled. Our waitress Sandy however was great.
Great food! Excellent service
Our waitress was Sandi. She was wonderful and we had a great dining experience. The bar was great too.
Fantastic as always !! One of our favorite restaurants.
Taylor was excellent & sunset spectacular
Absolutely fabulous! Great service by Chris.
Wonderful service by Sandy & great food. Gorgeous view!
Exceptionally nice lunch. Friendly ,helpful staff, knowledgeable about the preparation of the food.
Food and service were outstanding
Waitress was a little much! She scared us when she first approached us and questioned what I was ordering.
Always great. Love the 1/2 price wine for lunch!
Very difficult to find. None of the street lights were working on either side of the road. Parking very limited. Needed to park in the sand in the lot across the road.
The experience is always great, as well as the food.
Wonderful creative menu with lovely surroundings and, of course, the vue!
We had an outside table. The sunset was amazing! Never been disappointed with our choice from the Vue!
Food wasn't great, decent at best. We made a reservation months in advance and noted it was for my parents' wedding anniversary, but there was no mention or acknowledgement by staff. Service was slow but our server was very friendly. Overall not impressed given the price point, will not be returning.
We had a great lunch at the vue on 30a. The ocean was spectacular to look at and the service and food were great!
Date night with husband
The food was wonderful and the service even better! Our server, Rosemary from New York was absolutely wonderful. We love love love being able to sit outside and see the beach and the sunset.
We had a beautiful view at the Vue. Great food and excellent service.
Awesome. Service and food were fabulous.
The chef here is so awesome, and I was thrilled that for only the second time in the last year he made his fantastic avocado crème brullèe (I know, I know - sounds weird but is it totally awesome!). Of course the view is stellar, but the food and service are always great. Still one of my favorite restaurants, and they honestly never disappoint.
We come here annually for our anniversary when we come to this area to visit. It’s always perfect!!
Excellent as usual. Great food, cheerful service, superb ambiance. One of our "Go T restaurants.
Order came out wrong. Dessert came out wrong. No need to go back when I can spend this money many other places
Catch of the day was delicious and prepared grilled for me instead of blackened like menu offered. Vegetable medley was delicious but risotto needs a little more flavor and creaminess.
The food was very good and our server was very good also.
Food and service was excellent. The only complaint I have is the noise level. The bar area needs something to absorb the noise.
We enjoyed a wonderful meal! Our service was Trip, and he was awesome, knowledgeable about the menu and attentive. Being able to eat beach side was such a treat! We thoroughly enjoyed our meal and the service.
Food was excellent, but we didn't get asked of we wanted desert. Just cleared the plates and brought the check.
Reservation was for 6:15PM to watch the sunset that they are known for. It took more than 20 minutes for us to actually get seated - missing most of the sunset.
Service was extremely slow all around. Our meal took almost 3 hours from start to finish with all tables around us getting their food before us and finishing before we even had our food. Several tables sat down 30 minutes after us and still finished before we had our main entrees.
The calamari appetizer was lackluster and just “Ok”.
The mahi-mahi catch of the day was good, though the flavors and tones in the curry sauce were muted and not standout.
The breaded chicken breast was not crispy. It was mushy…
The tuna was cooked the way I requested it, but they definitely have been told to sway customers away from modifying or customizing food. I asked for it to be cooked longer and was asked if I would want to see a menu and pick something else instead 3 times before she said they could cook it “medium” instead of “rare” for me.
The seafood platter was good he best if the entrees with no complaints other than it taking an hour and a half for everything.
After 3 hours, we were asked if we wanted dessert. Yes - but no time now for it.
Then… the bill was wrong with the mahi-mahi being listed but no price next to it. We thought they were trying to do the right thing and give us a discount on our meal because of the wait. No. They blamed it on computer error (so how many other meals were given to customers for free before now) and continued to charge us full price.
I hope it does get better in the future, however we will not be back to find out.
Chris was a great server and the food was excellent!
This dinner was our first impression of Vue, and we are locals. I would have liked to give it the 5 stars it's view of the Gulf and delightful patio deserve, but there were a few negatives. Vue is having the same issues as many local restaurants obtaining and retaining staff, and it showed. Our server, a very nice gentleman who explained he'd only been on the job for a couple of weeks, was very slow to return to the table even though we saw him standing around on the rear of the deck while our glasses were empty. The food, while immaculately presented and delicious to eat (and they split our shared salad nicely without being asked to), came to the table with some items a little cold and others perfect on the same plate, including the deep fried pears that were the star of the salad, but had cooled by the time the plates got to us. Hubby's pork chop was very tasty, but cooked a bit above the medium he requested and so a bit tough (or perhaps carryover cooked because the service was so slow). My Mahi was spot on, but the cous cous on the plate were cold. I then learned that one has to request bread service to receive it, after asking the people at the next table about the bread they had been served (and they said it was too good to miss, oh well). Now, these negatives may seem a little quibbly, but with prices well over $30 per plate, and the fine dining vibe, I expected a more polished experience. None of these flaws would keep me from returning to Vue or recommending it to others; but I hope they are able to get service, from all angles, back on track. In this kind of fine dining environment, I would have expected a manager to drop by the table at some point to see how it was going, but no. There were several nice by the glass wines, reasonably priced. We look forward to trying them again!
The view is amazing. We enjoyed the Caesar salad, crab cakes and filet mignonette. My husband had a chocolate martini and he thought it was delicious. Our waitress Sandy was attentive and fun! We’ll be back.
We made a reservation here while we were on our honeymoon and we had an incredible time. From the moment we were sat next to the beautiful wall of windows that face the beach to the moment we left, nothing was short of extraordinary. Christian was a the perfect server and made sure we had the best time. We will certainly be back!
