   Once again, I’m curious as to why we had a 515 reservation and we were walking out of the door at 5:55. This food is delicious and you are literally eating your piece of sushi and the plate is being whisked out from underneath. Just trying to turn the tables I guess it just feels like they do not care about their customers that being said the food is really quite delicious, but the service is just not great. It’s weird to me that they are taking your plate while you’re still eating your food.

   In town on business trip in Atlanta. On my one off night I was craving sushi and Umi was recommended several times so we decided to try it. We were blown away! Food was exquisite. Service was excellent. Ambiance was cool and hip. We will be back!!!

   Umi never disappoints and last night lived up to every expectation. It is an expensive place but the quality and service totally justify the prices. We tried the waygu and fatty tuna nigiri, new for us and wow we will order those every time now. We had our usual salmon with truffle aioli, spicy tuna on crispy rice, lobster toban and big oyster toban. All of these dishes are very special and should not be missed. We had a couple of sushi rolls and they were greta but the dishes listed above are a bit more special. You can't go wrong at Umi and consider yourself lucky if you get to dine here. Also, the service is very professional but also friendly and efficient without being rushy.

   The food was great but unfortunately we felt extremely rushed by the waitstaff. We sat down around 6:15 and were being rushed out by 7:00. The food all came quickly which was nice but it felt very pushy.

   Phenomenal experience. Umi is as advertised. Premier sushi spot in Atlanta. Beautiful ambience! Service was impeccable. Food was fresh and delicious.

    Umi is always solid when it comes to food, however they do need to train their host staff to be professional and not so rude and upity. When we are coming in and paying top dollar for sushi, the expectation is that the service upon entering is professional and friendly. I had a host hang up on me when I would not come in earlier for a reservation after I was told I only had 1 1/2 hour to eat. Seriously??
