   A must try restaurant in Atlanta. Hands down the best sushi in Atlanta and definitely top in the country. I have had sushi across the world and still this beats either all or most. The food is unforgettable!

   Umi does almost everything right. The food is excellent and the service is exceptional. I wish the corkage wasn’t so high,$45 is excessive, especially when we order drinks before the meal. I hope they will reconsider the new increase. Umi is a restaurant we love and I doubt that the extra $10 will change how often we go, we just think it is an unnecessary addition.

   One of my favorite places to eat in Buckhead! Will, Josh, Caleb, Khoi, Brendan … the best and the food is phenomenal! Just GO!

   Once again, I’m curious as to why we had a 515 reservation and we were walking out of the door at 5:55. This food is delicious and you are literally eating your piece of sushi and the plate is being whisked out from underneath. Just trying to turn the tables I guess it just feels like they do not care about their customers that being said the food is really quite delicious, but the service is just not great. It’s weird to me that they are taking your plate while you’re still eating your food.

   In town on business trip in Atlanta. On my one off night I was craving sushi and Umi was recommended several times so we decided to try it. We were blown away! Food was exquisite. Service was excellent. Ambiance was cool and hip. We will be back!!!

    Umi never disappoints and last night lived up to every expectation. It is an expensive place but the quality and service totally justify the prices. We tried the waygu and fatty tuna nigiri, new for us and wow we will order those every time now. We had our usual salmon with truffle aioli, spicy tuna on crispy rice, lobster toban and big oyster toban. All of these dishes are very special and should not be missed. We had a couple of sushi rolls and they were greta but the dishes listed above are a bit more special. You can't go wrong at Umi and consider yourself lucky if you get to dine here. Also, the service is very professional but also friendly and efficient without being rushy.
