Bringing its hallmark level of quality and service to an urban location, Uchi Houston made its debut in 2012 in the former historic Felix space on Westheimer. Melding culinary innovation with an approachable vibe, the menu features items culled from both Uchi and Uchiko in Austin, along with signature seasonal items created by our Chef team. Reservations are encouraged and can be booked online up to 1 month in advance. Walk-in bar seating is available and is subject to wait times. We look forward to serving you, Kanpai!

    Great food as always. Creative chefs keep the daily options interesting and fan favorites keep the regulars returning. No one does a better menu. However, the service was subpar. Staff seem more relaxed and less trained for higher end dining when compared to other restaurants at this price point. Two years ago it was a different, more worth it vibe as the staff made the experience. It becomes obvious when a restaurant group focuses on expanding rather than enhancing what they have. Still will probably return for the full bar that’s opening soon.

    Just phenomenal. It’s definitely a special occasion deal for us, but it was very memorable. There will be things you taste here that will take your breath away! Service was wonderful.

    We spare no expense at Uchi and it's worth it! Even on a busy Saturday night, the service never falters and the kitchen never disappoints!

    My husband and I were nervous, we weren’t sure if our palates were ready for an omakase. It was AMAZING. We loved everything we got. Fast great service. The happy hour is a must!
