The hostess was incredibly rude . She has no people skills at all. She treated my freind and I horribly
Truffles provides an excellent experience and is a more curated and local alternative to high end chains like 801. Highly recommend the truffle risotto.
Liked it will go again
The service was wonderful - well done! The green beans were almost cold and the potato seemed to have been waiting in the cook's window for a moment. The outdoor (tent) seating was drafty. My toes got cold. There appeared to be 1 heater for the tent. For the money paid, I would prefer Twisted Tree or Sam's Steakhouse. Likely won't go back.
Risotto was great. Would like a couple more items that are truffle related besides $15 shavings.
All the food was great except the duck was very overcooked. The skin was great but it’s possible to get great skin and not make the meat desiccated.
Nice wine selection with a reasonable price on a carafe of Von Strasser.
We’ll be back many times but Annie Gunns is closer so not as often as I’d like.
Food and service was very good. I recommend that you give this quaint little restaurant a visit. And try not to kiss the cook, when you try the food!
Excellent service from Yao and Matt. Extensive wine list. Delicious eats. Can’t wait to return!
I enjoy supporting local businesses and Truffles
has always been one of my favorites!
Service and food quality is always so consistent!
(excellent) You get what you came for-
a high end dining experience.
Many restaurants specialize in a certain type of cuisine, steak, pasta, fish, whatever. Not Truffles. Every dish served here is outstanding and gets the attention it deserves from the chef. A truly excellent dining experience every time we eat there.
Highly recommend Truffles. The staff was attentive and the food was delicious.
Outdoor tent was very comfortable and our server was friendly and attentive. Loved the house salad, warm bread and butter, but they fell short on the trout entree- dry. Will return but choose another entree.
Great service and ambiance; couldn’t have been better.
Consistently great steaks and seafood with professional service.
The fillet mignon was cooked perfectly to my liking. Wait staff were very respectful, polite and courteous.
The food was amazing but the service was even better. Attention to every detail!!
Amazing dinner felt wonderful to be out
love the ambiance of this place, unlike some restaurants, the sound doesn't carry. The Mussels are some of the best that we have ever had. Salads have a lot of depth and crafting - especially the Wedge. Main courses also have a lot of crafting and detail and taste outstanding.
Exceptional food and exceptional service, always enjoy dining at Truffles, such a treat. Staff does an excellent job of respecting social distancing and covid guidelines; we felt very comfortable. Tables were spaced more than adequately and were also reduced dramatically. Food was best I’ve had here yet; Truffles truly is a local gem.
Excellent meal. The service was on par with any fine dining establishment in STL. All servers were on deck to attend to our every need. The food was incredible. Friendly and approachable staff. Warm and comfortable ambience. Hands down in the top 5 places to eat in STL right now. Will be going back.
First visit, first wedding anniversary. I mentioned "anniversary" in booking notes and we received a complimentary glass of champagne upon being seated. It was good champagne, honestly rather better than expected, until I saw the wine book. OY GEVALT, the selection was to die for. Our server was quite professional and kindly helped my wife choose a wine for her meal. I ordered my steak "black and blue" and on the menu there is also a reference to black and blue, which involves blue cheese. Confusion over terminology ensued. I would suggest that if you want blue cheese on the steak you should mention blue cheese, or else you may get a steak with a char on outside and hyper rare inside. Regardless, all handled completely to my satisfaction. A gentleman well attired later dropped by the table and asked about the meal. It seemed clear that he was running the front of the house. We gushed a bit, and he then mentioned that dessert would be coming on the house. It was so good I tried to pay for it (they refused). Had someone put a slice of Dierberg's chocolate cake on the table I would have been pleased, but would not have offered to pay. This dessert was worth paying for, whether or not it was complimentary. Only noise issue was a crying infant - there was a large party in a separate room. The parents were on top of it, to the extent any parent could be.
My wife and I are not restaurant vagabonds. Instead, we try different establishments per cuisine and remain loyal to what we consider to be the best in any one type, be it Thai, Chinese, Italian, Indian, Greek, or American steakhouse. We both agree we found 'our' steakhouse in Truffles.
Chef Brandon always does an amazing job!
The ribeye was perfectly prepared and my wife’s shrimp was fantastic. Fortunately we saved part of our entrees for lunch the next day so we had room to enjoy a wonderfully rich creme brûlée for dessert. Can’t wait to go back!
First of all, the server, Curt, was phenomenal. He was so helpful, and had great recommendations for food and wine. He continued to check on us throughout the meal and even let us sample another wine, which was fantastic! The meal itself was amazing! We had the crab galate as an appetizer and the trout and duck for our meal. Everything was superb! Desert was incredible, and I had an espresso martini with it - perfection! I will be back...often!
I will go to Truffles every chance I get. It never disappoints! Wine list is amazing!
We went for our anniversary this evening and I think this was the BEST meal we’ve had in STL period. Everything was amazingly tasty. For the first time in dining history I didn’t need a salt or pepper shaker, everything was seasoned wonderfully. We will be back for sure.
This place is wonderful. My girlfriend and I were here for her birthday, and it was a wonderful dining experience. The food, the wait staff, the ambiance - superb. We both had the almond crusted trout and it was absolutely delicious. We'll be back.
Truffles is doing a great job with dealing with Covid. We always enjoy having dinner there the food is always delicious.
We were there for the first time and totally enjoyed it. The service (the waiter we had was someone we would like to ask for all the time), the food and the pricing was awesome if you are into fine dining experience.
Servers were awesome.. very professional, friendly and accommodating.
Everything we ordered was outstanding. Will definitely come back!
The outdoor seating was spectacular! And the food was outstanding.
Birthday dinner celebration. Ambience on outside patio was lovely. Food was excellent. Service was somewhat spotty.
The food was superb, very fresh ingredients artfully presented!
Amazing
Sat outside- food always fabulous
Outstanding food and the people really demonstrated a caring manner about their food and service.... and about being safe given the Covid environment we live in. We will return!
Just deliciousness!
The lobster roll is something I dream about!!

Excellent meal. One if the best in St. Louis.
What a wonderful restaurant. The service, food and ambience is excellent. We will definitely be back.
Truffles never fails to impress! Everything was perfect, the food was outstanding
Truffles never disappoints. Great service and in my opinion the best steaks in St. Louis. Highly recommended.
