- ETErinTToronto / Ontario •1 review5.0Dined 2 days agoBeautiful spot, with delicious food. The only issue was that it was the hottest day of the year so far (33c) and it started raining at one point so the patio doors got closed and it got super hot in there. When it stopped raining we asked if they could be opened again, and they eventually did that.More infoOretta King West$$$$• Italian• King West•4.3

- KTKellyTvipBaltimore / Maryland •10 reviews5.0Dined 5 days agoVisiting from Maryland and found this online. Overall great experience. Definitely worth a visit. If I lived in Toronto it would be on a FREQUENT rotation for eat in and take out. It’s not a first date night, romantic, or quiet evening type place, which we didn’t expect it to be. It is a Jamaican restaurant after all and we enjoyed the vibe. The music is fairly loud and was mostly Jamaican hip hop when we were there. We definitely couldn’t hear each other without leaning in real close but did Shazam a few songs we liked! The staff was very friendly. Our drinks took some time to come due to a mix up but were worth the wait. Nice take on Jerk chicken wings with a hint of sweet Festival was warm, fresh, and just perfect (note the jerk wings comes with 3 pieces of festival so unless you want to over indulge like us, you don’t need to order the festival separate - but we did). Plantains were also cooked nicely. There’s an art to it and many times we’ve been underwhelmed with plantains in restaurants that seem to have been sitting for a long time. These were hot, with just the right hint of crispness. Jerk shrimp was amazing and served with a nice slaw. I liked it but my husband thought it was heavy on the vinegar. Salad was fresh with a nice lemony/tangy dressing. Rum punch was nice! We didn’t have room for dessert unfortunately.More infoChubby's Jamaican Kitchen$$$$• Jamaican• King West•4.6
- OTOpenTable DinerShreveport •1 review5.0Dined on Jan 1, 2023This was our first time visiting Toronto and booked this restaurant for our anniversary dinner because of the great TikTok reviews. We gave it a try and was not disappointed. We were greeted at the door by a nice gentleman and when we made it to the host stand they knew it was a special night and made us feel as such. The food was very good. We both had the bacon wrapped filets. My steak was cooked medium, my husband’s ordered medium rare but was it came out rare. He doesn’t believe in sending food back so he ate it anyway. The complementary bread is Delicious especially with the butter with bits of cheese in it! I also enjoyed the double baked potato. Lastly, I want to mention my lemon drop! It’s was the best I’d had in Toronto. That’s been my go to drink the whole week and it definitely took first place.More infoThe Keg Steakhouse + Bar - King West$$$$• Steakhouse• King West•4.6
