Tony P's Bar & Pizzeria - Highland
Came here of family of 6 (one in a wheelchair) for daughters 9th birthday (she loves that they let her play with pizza dough and make her own pizza). Easy to make a reservation, the table was ready and our server worked very very hard to make sure we were all taken care of. Food as always was delicious and we had a great time!
Had dinner with an old friend and this place is one of his go-tos. Good choice. Server was fun and attentive, food was good, prices were reasonable.
My Son had some health issues. The waitress and cooks went out of their way to make sure none of his food had any oils and fat. This happened during a particularly crowded day. Everybody was friendly. We will definitely come more often.
The food is always delicious here. Haven't been here in a few years but wasn't disapointed at all!
Love Tony P's! One of my favorite Denver restaurants!
The hostess, servers, and managers at this establishment do not know that they are supposed to check individuals in with open table. Therefore you never receive your points. I called to discuss this fact and no one wanted to talk to me about it. They asked me to call and talk to a different manager. Wanted to pass the buck. There are too many other establishments only too willing to offer exceptional food and service to frequent a place that tells you that you they won't deal with a situation. I'd look into how they are doing business with your service Open Table. Food was only ok, service was lacking, and then it does not even count for anything.
Gave us a pizza we didn’t order, didn’t stop to ask how it was, no discount on the bill. It wasn’t even that busy... very disappointed
Went with three kids at one in the afternoon. Food was great but make sure you allow plenty of time. We were one of two tables in at the time and it was 1.5 hours but we were not in a hurry. Service was adequate. They gave the kids dough to play with which was a mess but lots of fun for them. Our pizza was perfect, the wife’s salad was definitely small for the money but fresh. Our antipasto appetizer had plenty of meat but was not anything that would stand out. The kids got to make their own pizza which they love! Overall we had a nice meal at a big table and didn’t feel rushed. I’m sure we will be back again.
This was our first time at Tony P's and we will definitely be back. Great food, quick service, fun atmosphere.
Most casual I have ever booked on OT, but the g/f ravioli was awesome!
Food was delicious but service was horrible!! I appreciated the gluten-free options.
This is such a great place to eat. Go there every time in Denver.
They've got a good Chèvre salad and really enjoyed making my own pizza. It looks burnt when it comes out, but was chewy and delicious.
Very friendly staff and energetic vibe. Liked that they have several tv's going, too.
Most of the drinks were unavailable and the waiter blamed the bartender.
Yum, we really liked the food! There are 3 kinds of ravioli, all of which can be made gluten free. The GF ravioli was outstanding. The sauce and the sausage were super tasty too. Can't wait to go back and try the GF pizza. Both GF and non-GF eaters in our party were surprised by how good all the food and drinks were. I would call Tony P's a neighborhood gem.
We had a very unfortunate dining experience. We have been to both Tony P's locations multiple times so I thought it would be a great place to have a birthday dinner. I had a party of 14 people and made the reservation in advance. We show up around 7:20 on a Friday night for our 7:30 reservation. The restaurant was clearly busy but incredibly understaffed. I understand our waitress was taking on a lot of tables and doing what she could, but explaining to our table that she may or may not have been drinking before her shift was a terrible start to our service. It took over 30 minutes to receive our first round of drinks. Once we were able to place our food order she messed up a few orders, which is understandable in a large party. But, when some of the food was ready, she ended up giving another tables order to our table, and vice versa with our food. We also continued waiting for multiple other rounds of drinks that took incredibly too long to receive. By the time everything was said and done we were finally able to close out with our server 3 hours after our reservation time. I politely asked to speak with the manager and asked that we receive either our drinks comped or some sort of discount on our meal. That did not happen even after the incredibly poor service we received the ENTIRE night. Our server took off 1 pitcher of beer on one order, then proceeded to over charge on couple for the remaining beers she couldn't place on the right separate checks. It was just overall such a disastrous experience and I was incredibly disappointed with the management for not trying to handle the situation in a more professional manner. There needs to be either more staff for nights with large parties or staff who are sober enough to do their job that we happily wanted to pay for and enjoy.
This was a great over all restaurant in a vibrant historical neighborhood. The building was original inside with exposed brick wall and wooden floors.
Friendly and smiling staff eager to answer all your questions and make suggestions.
The food was authentic New York Italian and very tasty.
Awesome service and a great value for your money.
I will definitely be back again.
It was a great place to take the kiddos. They loved playing with the pizza dough! It kept them entertained until the food was ready giving the "Moms" time to catch up. Great food, friendly atmosphere, and lots of fun!
The place was dirty , the service was terrible and the food was mediocre
Great food, great atmosphere & amazing service!
Tony P's was perfect! We had a pre-Avs game party of 11 and they had a great table for us (on short notice even). The server and manager were attentive and outstanding, the food was delicious and we will definitely be back! The ravioli, ziti pesto and calzone were among our favorites. As a saucier, I think their marinara is supreme! One of the few I really loved!
Our server was awesome! The pizza was delicious and they had lots of drink choices! Just wish it was closer to our home in Littleton!
This was an average dinner with one of those overly friendly waiters. It took MUCH too long to get our food and there was nothing special about it. I would not return.
Great food. They bring you these amazing garlicky buttery breadsticks to start (for free!!! like chips/salsa at Mexican restaurants) Then the calzones are giant - it takes a big guy to finish one. You can order large salads to share - and they're fresh and good. And they have PBR for $2 less than that at happy hour. It's centrally located in the Highlands area - so we tend to meet there (because some friends live north and some live south)
The lighting could have been brighter. It was hard to read the menu. Other than that our server and the food was great!
