Gulf Fish Capri
Louisiana crawfish and blue crab, artichoke, tomato, lemon-caper butter sauce
Baked Oysters Tommy
Bacon, lemon garlic crumbs
Gulf shrimp, calamari, gulf fish, mussels, fennel, tomato broth
The food was good but not as good as it has been. I like the ambiance, pretty dark.
Waiter was very friendly . I think they are a little short handed because no one came by to fill our water glasses and the plates stayed on the table for a while after eating. Need to hire a few bus boys.
1st time visit to Tommy's --- went on a recommendation from a local resident. Food was delicious!
the entrance to this restaurant is thru a wine store. The hostess was very busy and we were confused as to how to get into the restaurant. Once we got the attention of a wait staff, they got us to her. She seated us in a back room where we were the only ones there and no one to help us for over 5 min. So we went back to the grumpy hostess...After finally getting into the main dining room, then we were good to go. Service was ok. Food was amazing.
Our dinner was so nice! Amazing meal for a very reasonable cost! Our server Pam was awesome. She did a great job with timing serving our courses :(
After a long wait for our soup, they brought it and our entrees at the same time. They took the entrees back to the kitchen and we assumed they would keep them warm. That didn’t happen as our food wasn’t hot when we were ready for it immediately after finishing our soup. They took my wife’s plate back to the kitchen to warm it up, but it came back unevenly heated, as if they had nuked it. Have been to Tommy’s a number of times and this is the first time we left not totally satisfied.
Keyetta was wonderful! I will definitely request her on our next visit.
Keyetta was so great with my daughter! Had a great night.
The waitress forgot to order our appetizer; food was just fair. Half price bottles of wine were a plus. The ambiance is good.
We must have had a newer server she was quite nice, just missed a few steps. The food was good, but nothing special.
Appetizers were delicious we got the BBQ Shrimp bruschetta and the warm Burrata with pesto and crostini. Unfortunately they were out of a few menu items but the entrees we picked were still very good. The server was very attentive and helpful the kitchen was a little slow. I would definitely go back.
Tasty food,Prompt service, elegant dining rooms, good value, friendly wait staff. Good location.
Why was there Christmas music being played throughout the restaurant on New Year's Eve? Our server said that it was the manager's preference. Somber music did not set the mood for a New Year's Eve celebration. Otherwise, the food and service were fine.
Tommy’s is a wonderful dining experience. The food is always delicious and plentiful.Nathaniel our waiter was terrific. Very attentive and pleasant. Highly recommend
Great New Years Eve experience.
We had eaten here before with friends and decided to return with our children and we weren’t disappointed. Our server was very accommodating and the food was excellent.
Enjoyed food and discounted wine list; service was slow at times, but server was very friendly and helpful in making recommendations.
The ambiance was very dull and dusty, not reflecting the authenticity and the heritage.. though the food was tasty and the service was good, the ambiance did not help to make it a very good experience in general..
We went for Christmas dinner and our table wasn’t ready. Apparently they were over booked, so they set up a table by ourselves in the wine store. Since this was off the normal service route we were forgotten. The duck was over cooked and dry and the pasta was just ok, the crawfish were a little fishy. Not a great experience overall. The manager did buy us desert. The highlight of the meal.
Steak was delicious. Mussels pretty good. Veal Marsala and meatballs were a little bland. Service was wonderful and ambiance was lovely.
We had a delicious Christmas Eve dinner. My husband got the eggplant parmesan which he really loved. I got the Cajun turkey meal which was great especially the spicy dressing - I liked that they offered a traditional Christmas meal with a New Orleans spin to it. They have an extensive wine list. The crab corn bisque was to die for. Our servers were attentive and cheerful. We will be back.
Everything was perfect from beginning to end!!! The Service and Server were excellent!! The meal was deli and a nice presentation!!! Everyone was friendly and accommodating!!!
We had the Reviollion sp. Dinner and it seemed like a bargain at $45. Of my 4 courses, two were very good and two were okay. The waitress was great when she was there. I don't think it was her fault of the extended delays between courses. I appreciate giving us time to finish one course before the next is ready but 30 minutes seemed like a lot of time. Potatoes were not hot. We will probably be back but not for a while.
We went to Tommy's Cuisine for a Reviellon Dinner and it was excellent. Each course was great. I was very impressed with the quality and the service. All of the food was perfect. There was one minor problem when the wrong dish was brought out but it was quickly handled and the chef came out himself with the replacement. Looking forward to returning for another great meal.
I had the veal picatta with the crabmeat and it was a wonderful treat. The atmosphere is is great and the staff is always on point!
The service and food were incredible. Wine was half off the bottle, so that was a plus too!! Perfect for date night or girls night out.
Tommy’s was a delicious delight! Jenny was an excellent server and very attentive. We can’t wait to return.
Great food and service. Thank you.
Great food. Great service.
It was a wonderful experience and service was great. Leon was our waiter and I would recommend him to everyone.
Everything was outstanding! Our waiter Leon, was the best. The food was absolutely delicious. Cant wait to go back.
Enjoyed our dinner at Tommy's from the cocktails at the bar to the desert to end our meal. Service was great too.
Enjoyed the Reviilion menu. Food, wine and service were great.
Server was friendly and helpful, dining space was intimate, GM was pleasant and accommodating, all dishes were served ample and hot. Plans to return soon with neighbors.
Nothing special just average Italian food.Nithing imaginative.Had veal dish with crab topping hardly a teaspoon of crab. Angel hair pasta bed was not al denote but overcooked.Wife had paneled veal not impressed either. Decent portions but overall lacking considering it’s “reputation.”
Made reservation because it was our wedding anniversary. Nothing special on table to commemorate the event. No little tart or small dessert like most places do.
Menu not as advertised online. No revillion menu as advertised so that was also a disappointment.
Vincent’s on St Charles streetcar line better, but equally resting on their laurels instead of making an effort in these trying times. You guys all need to up your game.
This was a birthday dinner with my family (includes 4 children ages 9-12). The food was amazing. The waitress was great at offering to split the kids meals into separate plates since they wouldn’t eat full sized dishes. Everything was truly wonderful.
Tommy’s is a fine establishment. The service is as good as anywhere. The food is very good but the menu is a bit limited. Better than Irenes.
My husband and I had an excellent dinner here. It was thanksgiving but we decided to eat traditional Italian. Our waiter was so nice and accommodating. I requested a seat by the doors and windows. They were happy to move us. I had the calamari and blue crab angel hair pasta. So yummy. My husband wanted pizza but it was a revised menu due to Thanksgiving. He ordered some garlic rolls with marinara. He loved them. Dessert was on the house. Also several people came over to check on us which was nice (assuming it was management) Also ordered a Margarita and Wine both were really good. Overall great experience!!
Visited for a recent Thanksgiving day dinner during this COVID debacle and everything was as perfect as could be expected.
The dinner which consisted of a 4 course meal with all the fixings and some of the softest fried turkey ever seved, made for a very enjoyable dinner.
The server did a great job attending to out needs even while we dined outside.
Couldn't have asked for a better experience all around.
