The meal started well. We then were served frozen garlic knots, which was addressed. Our main courses were delayed because a wedding party that arrived after us was given preference by the kitchen. When our food, which was both overcooked and cold, finally arrived, we had given up. We had our dessert boxed to go and cancelled our coffee. The waitress was amazing and advocated for us. The kitchen not so much. Utter disappointment.

Been in Tommy´s for so many years and always been a great expreicne but yesterday was a bad exeption. Took at least 1 and ½ hours to receive what we order and my wife´s plate was so salty that wasn't posible to eat. They took out from the bill bu the long wait and then couldn't eat at all make not a great experience. hope next time will be better. The place was full but that shouldnt implicate that the quality can go down.

Service was great at Tommy’s even with the kitchen being backed up our appetizers arrived before our mains and the half-off bottles of wine was an excellent deal. The restaurant was noisy but not because of loud music. Meal came in at about $50/person including wine and 2 appetizers.

We had a spectacular thanksgiving dinner. The thanksgiving special was great. Turkey was moist and green beans, crawfish dressing and sweet potato casserole were perfect! Emily was our waitress and we were delighted with her service. Congrats!

We dined here for Thanksgiving. It was delicious. Some of us had the thanksgiving special others ordered from the menu. Everyone was very pleased with the delicious food. Portions were generous. There was a children’s menu as well. Ambiance was amazing. Beautifully decorated. Wonderful staff. We will definitely be back.

As always a wonderful experience , I had the Tommy meatballs , my wife had the eggplant napoleon , both entrees were great , the pecan old fashioned is to die for don’t leave without having one you won’t regret it.

Second time at Tommy’s and they didn’t disappoint. Calamari appetizer was delicious and enough for four. Some breaded banana peppers interspersed which surprised us, but pleasantly. Capri fish with artichokes and fresh green beans was delicious and the best thing we ate in our 3 days of dining in Nola. The shrimp diavalo fettuccine was also excellent with aldente pasta and perfect amount of spicy . Olive oil and cheese on the table for dipping the complimentary bread which we love. Would have preferred a more Italian or French bread with a crust but minor. Serve from Kaitlynn was excellent!

We found a last minute reservation at Tommy’s Cuisine and it did not disappoint! The ambiance was upscale cozy, very inviting! Our server, Emily was flawless. She was attentive and really helped us pick the perfect entrees for our mood. The baked lasagna with Sunday gravy rivaled my mother’s (sorry mom). Highly recommend you add this to your list!

We went for my wife’s birthday and the evening was great! The food was better than expected and our server was very helpful and professional. The drinks were also very good. We sampled several different app and 3 main courses. The ambiance was nice as well between the background music and the decor. We would not hesitate to go back.

Excellent simplified menu that was reasonably priced. Nice wine list at reasonable price. The appearance of the plates served was excellent. Unfortunately, the timing of when the vegetables and sauce were ready was off they were cold to barely warm while the fish was hot. Desserts were tasty. Bananas accompanying the bread pudding were green and hard which diminished our enjoyment. The server was very pleasant, friendly but over assigned to provide top notch service. Tommy’ is a nice restaurant that just misses the mark of an excellent dining experience.

The interior is very comfortable, sort of old school Italian...cozy & itimate. My husband raved about his fish of the day & loved everything. My entree had too much sauce. Probably my fault for ordering the wrong item. I would certainly go back & try something different. Service was great.

Our server must’ve been new, he checked on us about every 60 seconds. Half price wine was a great bargain! Food was ok, the burrata caprese salad was delicious, but my meal came out with only 3 shrimp, I sent it back. Upon its return, less than a minute later, it had more shrimp, but they were not mixed in with the sauce, just tossed on top. When I tried it, the shrimp were overcooked and the pasta was barely warm. The chairs are very uncomfortable, the tables are very small and round so they’re quite crowded once plates started to arrive.

The meatball app was mediocre. The entree's were also ok. I had Chicken Fettuccini and my wife had Chicken Parma. We had Bananas Foster bread pudding and is was...you guessed it, mediocre. I will probably not return.

As soon as I walked into Tommy's, I felt super welcome. The place has a cozy vibe but also feels kinda fancy—like you're stepping into a special occasion. My waiter was awesome. Friendly from the get-go and really attentive without being over the top. I felt like a VIP, which you don't always get when you go out to eat. Now, let's talk food. The Fried Calamari was killer. Super crispy on the outside and tender inside, with this tangy Marinara Sauce and a slightly spicy Aioli that hit just right. It got me super pumped for what was coming next. The main course, Veal Blue Crab Piccata, was something else! The veal was so tender it practically melted in my mouth. The Lemon Caper Butter sauce was the perfect mix of tangy and creamy, and the Louisiana Blue Crab on top? Man, that was the cherry on top. Even the angel hair pasta and capers were doing their part to make the dish sing. For dessert, I had the Classic Tiramisu. The ladyfingers were soft and soaked in amaretto, and the whipped mascarpone was rich but not too heavy. A sprinkle of cocoa on top made each bite perfectly balanced. The price was on point. I got an amazing meal, top-notch service, and a great vibe, and I felt like it was totally worth what I paid. I can't wait to go back. All in all, Tommy's Cuisine is more than just a place to grab a bite. It's got the kind of food and service that make it a must-visit if you're in New Orleans. Trust me, you're not just getting a meal here; you're getting an experience you won't forget. And I can't recommend it enough.

Expected better. The chicken Marsala was pretty dry. Veal Blue Crab Picatta was good. Turtle soup was just OK. Cocktails were also just OK. The dining area was very nice. Would potentially give them another try in the future.

The chef is doing a disservice to the staff by serving bad food. Crab cake appetizer was full of shells and cold in the middle. Meatballs were tough, not braised- a real disappointment. Chopped salad tasted like they used bottled Kraft Italian dressing. Chicken Parmesan was giant- not in a good way. Probably those large cheap breast I avoid in the grocery. Just absolutely no passion in the food. It’s a shame because Tommy’s used to be good! It’s a great location and a pretty restaurant but needs a chef that cares about what they are sending out. Will not ever be back!

Nothing went right. 45 minutes to get food. Appetizer salad served with the entree. Both meals came out lukewarm to cold. My fish was overly seasoned with salt and pepper and basically not edible. Our granddaughters chicken tenders were held because the fries weren't done it came 10 minutes after our food. The manager wasn't terribly troubled by this fiasco but unbeknowst to us took 25 dollars off the meal. EXCEPT when the bill arrived it was ADDED to the bill. Another delay until she handed me the revised bill with a 12 dollar discount. Imho not the way to run a company. We wont be back
