   As always, the staff was excellent, and the food was terrific. A special shout out to the bar staff. My old-fashioned was a perfect old-fashioned, as always.

   Beautiful spot on the island for dining. Even the inside tables will experience the most beautiful sunset they have ever seen. This location has both what you might expect on mainland as well as amazing Maui specific specials. Island dining can be challenging if you don’t eat fish or seafood but the chicken here is so amazing! Staff greeted us warmly and our waiter was so attentive we were never without a sip or bite. It’s an impressive feet to accomplish without ever breaking up the conversation at the table, which he managed. This is why we return time and again.

   Dinner was great. Fun spot to have dinner for sure. Food and drinks were excellent. Only negative comment: wish I knew the musician didn’t know any songs before I popped a $20 in his tip jar … the entire time he played nothing but riffs. We’ve experienced far better musicians at this restaurant before.

   Burger and the crab salad were both really excellent with fresh red hot fries. Gregg our server was attentive and gave good recommendations. The only downside I can come up with is the amount of birds that are bothering everyone for food.

   Service and food is outstanding! The crab cake appetizer and dinner are great! The lump crab and avocado salad is my favorite.

   We always love eating at Tommy Bahamas, the food is delicious and the wine selection is very good. Service is top notch. I gave the noise level a high but that is because the night we had dinner, the place was packed! We don’t mind because we own a condo in Wailea and we rent it out and we were excited to see tourism returning to Maui! I want also be specific about service was top notch, from the waitress to every service person promptly picking up plates, glasses in the way and refilling water.

    We have been to several different Tommy Bahama restaurants over the years and have always been very happy with our dinners. Unfortunately, our most recent experience at the Wailea restaurant was certainly NOT up to Tommy Bahama standards. It started out with our arrival. I had booked a 7:00 pm reservation for four on OpenTable and we arrived right on time. The hostess checked us in, but we were not seated until nearly 7:30. Our appetizers were very good, but our entrées were fair at best. My wife and one of our friends had the macadamia crusted mahi-mahi and it had virtually no flavor and they both had to add significant salt and pepper to the dish. It also took over 10 minutes to get a glass of wine for my entree and I had to stop eating for several minutes to wait for the wine. Then when dessert came out, the other couple that we were with had ordered the Key Lime pie. Unfortunately, it was custard only with no limes in the pie at all.  Our server took it back to the chef and he confirmed that there were actually NO limes in the pie.  I am sure that we will return to Tommy Bahama restaurants in the future, but I doubt that we will return to the Wailea location!!
