   Everything about this experience was amazing. The food was outstanding. I went for the weekday set lunch menu so the value was outstanding. The staff are so friendly and professional. We ended up being the last two in the restaurant after the lunch service and felt in no way rushed to leave. I would recommend this expierice to anyone. I dont live in london but im aiming to fly mum and myself there next year so she can experience this treat.

   This has always been one of my very favourite places to eat. The food is faultless and the service excellent. Since my last visit the dining room has been completely refurbished in the Scandinavian style. I miss the cosier atmosphere of its previous décor and found the current look rather stark. However, the set lunch here is tremendous value and never fails to stimulate and entertain with its flair and imagination. Always a true feast for both the eye and the palate.

   My boyfriend brought me here for my birthday lunch, and we really enjoyed ourselves. We had the set menu: the food was well-cooked, beautiful, and intellectually stimulating, as you'd expect. We loved all the little extras, especially the incredible selection of breads, but we felt the service wasn't quite what it might be. We like to eat at top-class places when we're able, and it's rare that we feel particularly awkward, but we did feel it slightly at Tom Aikens. A little hurried; as if things had to go at their pace not ours, even though the restaurant was very quiet. That aside, and it was a tiny niggle, we had a great meal. The strawberry dessert was really delicious.

   From the start the restaurant was impressive. We were greeted warmly and were immediately struck by the beauty of the restaurant's decor - soft lighting, wooden floors and tables. The spacing between the tables was very generous indeed. Service was efficient and friendly without being intrusive and the sommelier was very helpful. The food was delicious and very beautifully presented - for example, a pre-starter of pea soup served in half egg shells on what looked like a real bird's nest. This restaurant wouldn't suit a young man who wants his plate piled high - portions are small but the flavours are intense. With coffee we were given an amazing selection of homemade sweets, so we certainly didn't leave feeling hungry.

   Absolutely incredible. The food is faultless - delicious, interesting and boundary-pushing. Whilst seemingly expensive when you see the amount of effort that goes in to every single element and detail of each course/dish then I personally feel it is good value. Service is charming and the room is lovely. Can't wait to go back.

   I've been lucky enough to have had some incredible meals at some incredible restaurants, including an unforgettable one at The Fat Duck, and this is right up there with the very best of them. Deserves at least another Star. Go, eat, enjoy, and never forget some of the best food you'll ever eat.

    Amazing food but bizarre ambience, rushed service and weird decor...the place felt half empty at 9pm on a friday night.
