Theo Randall at the InterContinental
The restaurant is proudly informal and unpretentious, with back-to-basics menu highlights including handmade pasta and wood roasted meat and fish, which in Theo's words is, "A million miles away from the complicated fancy fare you would normally expect to eat in Park Lane".
Since its launch, Theo Randall at the InterContinental has won numerous awards including Best Italian Restaurant of The Year from the London Restaurant Awards, Best Italian/ Mediterranean over £50 in Harden’s 2013, and the highest ranked Italian on the Sunday Times Food List 2013.
Had the Lombardy tasting menu food and wine pairings were really good the staff were really friendly and efficient and treated us really well. We were invited in to the kitchen to meet Theo which was really interesting and he came across as a really nice guy.
Absolutely fantastic experience. An amazing meal. Great food and awesome service.
First time here
And I must say I was happy with the service and food.
Enjoyable meal. Meeting the chef in the kitchen a nice touch. Socially distanced and clean
Exceptional food and service. Cannot fault this restaurant. Consistently delivers
Quality cooking in a nice setting.
Excellent food outstanding wines and wonderful service. Never ever fails to deliver. Cv19 measures were great too. So great to see them back.
As always the overall standard at Theo’s was at its usual high standard.
The staff were very knowledgable and made good suggestions in what food we might enjoy.
The range of wine and beers was extensive and what we chose was well suited to our meals.
The service was well judged and not rushed. Our meals were tasty, well presented and as usual on point.
We were then pleasantly surprised that Theo himself came out of the kitchen to say hello to my friend and I.
In my mind this is the number one Italian in London.
staff are friendly and food is good. However in the recent risk of virus, it is suggested that waiters/waitress shall not talk to customers on top of food/drink. They shall talk at a certain distance from the table instead of talking on top of food/drink on the table.
in the journey from kitchen to serving the food on the table, shall there be a cover/lid to cover the food for hygine reasons, especially waiters/waitress may talk on they way of delivering the food.
otherwise, it is a good place to dine. thank you for the good service and good food. It was an enjoyable evening to celebrate our friend's birthday. we are coming back on 16 April to celebrate another birthday.
Simply divine. Food was really good. The guys I went with were suitably impressed. We had the three course & half bottle of wine open table deal.
Everything about the evening was superb, from the restaurant itself, to the quality of all the dishes served and the friendliness and relaxed efficiency of the staff. As particularly praiseworthy, we would single out our sommelier, Roberto, who was charm personified. We were particularly impressed that a separate vegan and vegetarian menu were available as set menus to cater for our group. We will definitely be returning.
Simply the best, had waited for a long time to go and did not disappoint. We even met Theo and had a visit to his domain. Very impressive service, it’s the way things should be.
Went for the fixed price (£49) Sunday Brunch. Range and quality of the food was outstanding. Bottomless Prosecco was plentiful and good quality. The Antipasti buffet was so extensive that we would happily have paid just to eat that. We had to skip the Porchetta and Crepes as we were just too full.
Top tip: The main courses are sharing dishes meaning you choose 1 dish for 2 people to share. We had 1 veggie and 1 carnivore so this was potentially a problem. However, the fantastic staff dealt with it by letting us order different main courses. Excellent!
This place is just fantastic and I recommend you go.
Superb food and staff. A fantastic lunch spot in town.
I went with my husband and we had a fantastic evening. The food was delicious and our waitress, Katie, was delightful. So helpful and attentive, the service was brilliant. We will definitely be back!
I was dining alone and the staff made me feel like family. I especially want to comment about the Sommelier, Umberto. This gentleman is amazing. Not only knowledgeable but friendly and helpful. My meal of Truffle Soufflé, followed by lamb and then a marvelous cheese course....exceptional! Thank you
Fine but very slow service, very pleasant but slow.
We have been to the brunch several time snow and find it an excellent way to catch up with friends in a relaxed and friendly environment with delicious food and nice service.
We dined on a Saturday evening & the restaurant was busy. None the less service was good. The food was excellent - always plenty of it and tasty. As ever the bread offered was sublime.
Sebastian our table server was excellent.
Overall food very good and atmosphere relaxing
Quality food and reasonable cost bearing in mind the location and being part of a top Park Lane hotel

Recommend this place.
Superb evening...flawless service and impeccable attention to detail. Yet another memorable night!
Great!!!Great!!!Great!!!
Booked by my children as an anniversary present for my wife and me. This was a thoroughly enjoyable experience. Relaxed atmosphere good food and lovely service.
Was disappointed. Hoped for so much more. Food lacked flavour and pasta overcooked
Good lunch spot!
Excellent service and food. Staff were very attentive as we had 2 people with food allergies in our group. Thank you for a lovely birthday dinner!
Excellent Sunday multi-course menu. Everything first class with a special mention for the ravioli and the porchetta. Outstandingly good value with or without the bottomless booze.
This restaurant's food is very good but perhaps a little too much butter in the dishes and portions a little too large. The service was very good. Compared with the Mexican restaurant in the same hotel it is more expensive which is difficult to justify.
Good quality food with nice menu
I have been to brunch on many occasions and was disappointed taking our friends there this weekend with the changes that have been made
I felt the service was rushed and was quite impolite when talking through how it works now and that we only had 90 minutes
Pasta used to be served to each person after the cold buffet but it was put on one plate in the middle of the table whilst we had food we were eating
It was also difficult to share mains between two as we all would have chosen different dishes
I feel that it did make for a special occasion anymore
I have been to Theo Randall 4 times and I enjoyed it thoroughly. Will go again anytime. Everything is except!! Mrs Oliver
Delicious food, excellent value 3 course set menu including half bottle of wine. Choices were ample and Devine.
My favourite restaurant never disappointed great food thank you
This is such a fantastic experience, the food and service are always excellent.
Birthday lunch at Theo Randall on a Friday and the restaurant was a little quiet. Super pasta dishes and the Amalfi lemon tart was outstanding. The waiting staff are lovely and look after you very well.
Great food and service , made my guests feel really special
This restaurant never fails. The food, the service, the staff just about everything is absolutely wonderful. We have been to this restaurant many, many times and always enjoyed ourselves.
Very nice restaurant
