It was New Years Eve and my expectations were low around the food but was I wrong! We all had fish (Sea Bass and Salmon) and it was amazing! Our server was super nice and efficient. The bands playing that night were great too! We recommend this place! Ridiculously good food!
It's ok to be a casual, neighborhood bar. I feel that Woodcellar is a misreprepresnted on Open Table to be a finer experience than it is in real life. I reserved for Valentine's Day and was disappointed. The food looks good on paper but was very lacking in person. I started with fried mushrooms which came out cold. They told us there was no Flatiron steak which is a huge miss for the holiday. I ordered country fried steak and my wife ordered chicken carbonara. My wife rejected the pasta and traded with me. It had a soupy consistency that wasn't very appetizing and very little flavor. Our country fried steak was edible but very salty gravy which was not restaurant quality kept it from being a winner. Both dishes fall short of what I expected for the price. The sad thing is that just before leaving we noticed several tables were being served the flatiron steak. I wish I had been given an explanation for that one.
I will say that while slow, our waitress was friendly. The bar was packed with locals and everyone seemed to enjoy the music. However I won't return for anything more than a drink. When you advertise a Valentines evening event, I expect you are putting up your best game.
Fun bar/restaurant. The food is very good. We enjoyed the fish and chips special very much. Great burger too! Happy Hour drinks. Will definitely return.
It was very good food & excellent service ~ we went on a date & loved it !!
No one greeted me when I got there. I only saw 1 person working. She was waiting tables, bar tending, busting tables. My friends met me & we wanted to sit outside on the patio but no one was around so eventually we got our own menus. There was another table seated near us as well as another group came & sat down near us so we were hoping that someone would come out.
We were then noticed & orders were taken. They were out of the salad dressing we wanted. But the food was great! We all got salads & the mahi salad was large & delicious. The strawberry avocado salad with added chicken was great! Surprisingly great food! Just don't sit inside. It's a dark bar.
The signage made the place a little difficult to find when driving up. I am not sure if it is a restaurant inside of a bar or if I just totally missed the sign. Nevertheless, once we found the place it was perfect for a Friday evening. Since I am a party of 6, we ALWAYS have to wait for a table. In this case there was a reserved sign on a table just waiting for us. We advised the gentleman that we had a play we were getting to and he put things into high gear. Drinks, food order, etc. in the end I gave a 30% tip because the staff went above and beyond for making sure we got everything as needed. Good job to the staff for a very pleasant experience.
The place was more interesting from the outside than when you entered the door. Food was ok. Flank steak on menu was substituted for a New York strip that was cooked ok, but not seasoned at all. Had to ask for butter. Service was friendly but scattered. Probably will not visit again.
The food was great, parking was not to bad considering the big crowd. Food was terrific as well as the service, the band was really very good. Tv's in easy to see locations. Heading back soon.
Stopped here for lunch on our way to Winter Park. Food was better than I expected for casual mountain place. On Fridays if you order a salad, glass of house wine (Jacob's Creek) is included.

Food is good; Gina is the BEST! We will always come when Sharla & Phil sing! This online service though did not even tell them we had made a reservation. Why use it if they're not going to report it to Woodcellar?

No one seared us. Once we sat down we waited 15-20 minutes for someone to wait on us. We had to ask someone to get a waitress for us. All the tables were dirty. Food was cold and horrible. Would not go back.
We have a delightful time and would recommned it to anyone looking for a good meal and fun atmosphere. They have a bar out front that was lively with people laughing and having a good time. We will definately go back!
A sports bar scene, with good pub food, great service, and young-lively ambience. A little loud for seniors or young romantics.
It was not what we expected but it turned out great. It is much more "bar" than restaurant. The guy playing guitar was really good and the hockey game was on which made my date happy. The food was terrific and service great. We will definitely go again.
My wife and I both thought our food was very good, the fish and chips were a 91/2.
The Woodcellar is not well marked. This is a bar with a few tables in the back. The pulled pork sandwich was good. The bacon, lettuce, avocado and tomato sandwich had dried out bread. The salmon was good. The turkey reuben was not flavorful. The caprese sandwich was ok. The sweet potato fries were good. Overall, it was ok.
Nice local place. The food was very good, and the live music was a nice touch. It would be a fun place to hang out with friends and a beer or two.
Great happy hour prices. Ahi appetizer is great.
