   We booked via OpenTable as it was the most convenient platform . The Wolseley we found to be wonderful . The decor is very opulent and grand,it suits the building very well. Our food and drinks were lovely . We booked for lunch and it’s their busier time I found the noise level to be moderately high as I am sensitive to background noise. This in no way will stop us returning as soon as possible.

   It was fantastic to return to the Wolseley and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent, good portions but not too much that my husband couldn't squeeze in a dessert too. There was plenty of choice with a good mix of classic favourites and some new options to try. The restaurant was busy, it was a Saturday night, and the noise levels were quite high. This didn't mean that we couldn't chat though and the restaurant did thin out a bit around 9 pm. It made for a real buzz in the restaurant which was nice. What made it a brilliant experience though was the service from the staff, and particularly from Hamid our waiter. He was extremely attentive, quickly noticing when our water and wine glasses needed refilling. He helped us to make food choices and made recommendations when we weren't sure. Nothing was too much trouble and his wonderful service really enhanced our evening. Hamid is a great ambassador for the restaurant and I would happily ask to sit in his area of the restaurant again to get that wonderful service.

   I had a business lunch and arrived slightly early so was given the option of sitting in the quieter area that was subdivided from the main restaurant. It was pleasant, service was good and it was certainly quieter than the main restaurant so conversation was easier. We both had the set menu for 2 which was good value and good food although sides were extra. A slight annoyance was the cover charge which I resent paying on top of a 15% tip, but they were happy to knock that off the bill on request. Overall a great ambience and impressive place to wine and dine clients.

   We celebrated our anniversary there. Nothing particularly special, which was fine. However, the waiter only came by twice during the entire meal — pretty much no service, yet a 15% service charge was automatically added to the bill. £365 for a very, very average meal.

   Food is good. Service is quite average. Ambience is nice and busy.

   A definite “Must Do” in London! Former car dealership transformed into a delightfully delicious restaurant space on Piccadilly, across from The Ritz. Drinks in the bar and dinner in the main dining room - such a great experience. Inventive cocktails and top notch food. Service was on par with any restaurant in the neighborhood. Make this an addition to your evening plans.
