Great service and excellent food. I will be back soon!
What a phenomenal dinner! Everything we tried had wonderful flavor and presented beautifully.
The Winery has always been one of my favorite restaurants. I was so happy to be able to celebrate my birthday during this crazy time at The Winery and it was great. The food, service and atmosphere was wonderful and they took all the necessary precautions to stay safe.
The service and the food was very good. I'll be going there again in the near future.
Excellent service as usual! Love this place.
Love this restaurant
From salads to short ribs, every dish is great.
This was my 1st visit. The food was outstanding!!! Very good service even though I did not like being outside. It was quite and comfortable the night we had dinner.
This is definitely a go back to restaurant.. In our opinion one of the best restaurants in Orange County. Superb.....
My husband and I wanted to try somewhere new for us and was participating in OC Restaurant Week. We were seated on the outside patio, and because if this, the noise level was louder than we guessed it would have been inside, however it wasn't a deterrent to a lovely evening. Our server, Sheila, was wonderful, attentive, and knowledgeable to the prix fix menu and wine selections. We also were aware of her interactions with other tables and how well she handled diners who were unaware or displeased with certain covid procedures used in moat any location. We observed genuine interactions from the serving staff and managers, which was a pleasure to watch.
The food and wine was delicious. My husband and I each ordered different items on the menu so we could try multiple items. Each was presented in a lovely manner and left us satisfied. We enjoyed the amuse bouche of duck confit on a blue cheese sauce and drizzled with balsamic. I had the seard ahi tuna and he had a cold potato soup, both delicious. For our main, I had the scallops and shrimp, he the Zinfandel short ribs, also cooked very nicely. And for our dessert he had the creme brulee and I had the sticky toffee pudding, which we had no interest in sharing with the other because they were so good.
We are looking forward to going back again and being able to eat inside the restaurant, and we would recommend The Winery to anyone who appreciates a tasty meal paired with a delicious wine, good atmosphere, and fantastic service.
Made a reservation for restaurant week and was seated outside on the patio. First time here and the service and food were both amazing. Our server is so nice and attentive and the food had beautifully presentation and everything was so delicious! Will definitely be back
We love this restaurant! The food is consistently delicious, and the service is consistently excellent.
We ordered from the Prix Fixe menu. It’s OC restaurant week from Sept .13-26. We’ve been here before. We ordered winery House Salad and Seared Rare Ahi Tuna. It was delicious. Then we ordered Grilled Flatiron Steak. My husband loved it. I ordered Jumbo Maine Scallops and Wild White Shrimp. It was good. Warm Sticky Toffee Pudding turned out to be pudding with banana on top with ice cream. It was really good. Tahitian Vanilla Bean Creme Brulee with chocolate cookie and fruit.
A very nice, casual paced dining experience. A wonderful server and delectable complementary lemon dessert.
Great food, great service!! Fantastic!!!!
Great food, great waitress. My husband & I had a nice dinner outside.
We had a wonderful time dining at The Winery. We had a bottle of wine, appetizer and entree. The entree's were much heartier than expected. We definitely feel we got out money's worth. Also, service was great!
Great patio option and good food
Nice restaurant, food is good, waitress could have been a bit more pleasant.
The only issue we had was that my husband ordered a port with dessert and almost finished the port before dessert got to the table. It took almost 30 minutes to get dessert.
Later we realized we were charged for a 45 a glass port and not the 15.00 per glass he ordered.
I would obviosly prefer to dine inside. Waitress Sam is simply the nicest and best waitress we have run into in many years. We are really impressed with her.
Very nice. Would recommend to my friends. Service was excellent.
The food and service was amazing
It was amazing. Enjoyed the new outdoor patio!
Fine food with somewhat limited menu. The service was outstanding. It was worth the long drive.
Great food, great service. Try their short rib entree. Best I've had.
For the money you pay for food, you would expect it to be really good. I mean a ribeye at $55 should be fairly decent. But I would say a $20 ribeye tasted better Olive Garden than this "steak". The temp was good, as we ordered, medium rare. But, boy, the meat was so chewy and hard. Big chunks of salt and burnt. I understand, to make it medium rare you gotta burn it faster. Bot I always eat a MR steak all the time and this was by far the worst for the expensive steak. And, the side...what a joke...a boulangere potato.
Although a venison a "fresh wild game" chef special was good. Both my wife and I have enjoyed eating it, even though it was overcooked/cooked through (ordered MR, got MW) it was still juicy enough to enjoy.
The mussels appetizer was good. And the complimentary dessert with a "Happy Anniversary" signed chocolate was a good touch.
With all that said, our anniversary dinner almost got ruined, but we decided to not let it spoil our special day. We just decided to ourselves not to ever come back. We've been to a few other places in the District, and Prego was one of our favorite. Their tables are by far the best, with a tablecloth and all in all a nicer looking restaurant. Also, their food is way better and their steaks were really well made and cheaper than at The Winery. When I googled them up it said they were closed for dine-in and I didn't know they had a patio. We saw it after we walked out of the winery.
I would not recommend going there if you really want to enjoy a good tasting food. There are other good options in the area like Prego, Luna Rossa!
I have had many fine meals at The Winery but this last was truly exceptional. I ordered the Icelandic Salmon and it was so well presented, used quality ingredients, and perfectly cooked. The staff was very accomodating and knew their menu well. I hope they can make it through this COVID slow down because their restaurant deserves to survive.
Great cocktails, excellent filet and short ribs. Salmon a little overdone but we did request that it was cooked through. A little noisy on the patio. Look forward to indoor dining again in their beautiful restaurant.
Server was amazing! Lobster special was delicious. Ribeye was also very good.
Service and outdoor dining is the finest around.
Fantastic patio dining. The new expansion of the patio allows for about 15 additional tables - so more people can enjoy the terrific food and wine. With so many restaurants either still closed, or only offering limited fare, we are so glad the Winery Tustin is still available with ample outdoor seating (that is not in a parking lot like many restaurants have been forced to do).
If you are looking for a great fine dining restaurant that is not stuffy in the Tustin/Irvine/Newport area, it doesn't get any better than the Winery.
The new patio is beautiful. It was great to be back at The Winery seeing the team back in action doing what they do best!
Great service as always! Thankful for patio seating.
I've been coming to The Winery for a few years and I ALWAYS have a great time. Non pressure environment and they're doing well with all the Covid rules.
Another outstanding dinner at The Winery, love this place.
Dinner was for a 60th Bday celebration and they did not disappoint. We were not rushed or bothered but staff was nearby if we needed anything. Would definitely recommend!
The Winery never disappoints. The food is always great, the service is impeccable, and the atmosphere is always fun. On top of that, you have one of best wine guys and owners around in William Lewis. He is outstanding.
Thank you again for a great night! We’ll be back
Great ambiance, service and list! First there and we truly enjoyed the experience. We’ll be back!
Great service, delicious meal, very accommodating and follows the State pandemic opening guidelines. Will definitely support businesses like this who practices the new normal while pandemic is still active.
Server Damien was superb! Excellent service! Everything was perfect in spite of the covid regulations.
Great to be at the winery again!
