The Winery Restaurant & Wine Bar is the newest addition to The District in Tustin. The interior promises a hip, lively & sophisticated atmosphere, with dark woods, leather and velvet bar stools. The state-of-the-art 7,500 bottle cellar IS one of the largest in Orange County. The Winery Restaurant & Bar is open daily for lunch & dinner & features a wine tasting bar with a full bar menu and cigar patio.

I had made a reservation and when we checked in the two women standing at the booth looked at us as if we had the plague. They had no Smiles on their face and were rude. I told them I had a reservation and they said they were going to see if the table was ready. They never came back and acknowledged us as we were standing there therefore we went and ordered a drink in the bar. Our third member came into the restaurant and checked in and she came over to get us and we receded at the table that was open when we arrived. I believe our waiter Anthony might have been new, however he never brought Waters never brought us bread. The Busboys did a better job than our waiter did. Greeting people as they come in is the first important part and the two women that are the hostesses do nothing. Very disappointed and it's very loud and the food was not all that great. I will not return

First time here. Calamari seemed undercooked. Chicken sandwich seemed a little too heavy on the oil. The burger was nothing special. The bun fell apart quickly. Good fries. Not a destination restaurant.

I had seen this restaurant for years and never stopped in. I met a someone there for dinner a month ago and WOW what a find. I have been back and have future reservations booked. The food is amazing, the service is even better than that! Great options for vegetarians, great fish too. I don't eat red meat, but my husband was extremely pleased with the bone-in ribeye. Desserts are to die for too.

WOW! It is not often that I finish everything on the plate. . .but this meal was FABULOUS. I ordered one of the specials (elk - a wild game selection). The plate arrived piping hot, with a charred, bacon-encrusted bone-in juicy portion of elk (perfectly "medium"); it was tender and succulent. Served with green beans and a terrific farro risotto along with a (blackberry?) sauce reduction. At first bite, I thought the little sweetness would be too much (I don't like sweet), but the sauce and the risotto and the elk -- OMG. COMPLIMENTS TO THE CHEF!!! Hubby ordered the rack of lamb (also medium) and it arrived piping hot as well. He ordered a side baked potato (largest one I've seen in years!), and half the potato went home with us. Our server, Miguel, was polite and fun (very professional!). The expeditor was highly animated and took his job a bit too seriously -- he amused us from our perch at the Chef's Table. We will continue to dine at The Winery in Tustin, as it has become a family favorite!!!!!!

The food was amazing, service was especially good but not overbearing. We were very satisfied, seating could have been better. We sat in a very high traffic area near the kitchen but it was still very nice. We would definitely come back.

We had 5:30pm reservations - celebrating my son finishing the Kona Ironman last October. We were asked to wait in the bar for an additional 20 min even though we were all present. Hostess said the tables weren't set up. We looked all over and every table was set. We were a party of 5 and the only other party at that time was a group of pre-prom dates. Of course she sits us at a round table adjacent to them. Yes it was difficult hearing at our table because the kids were loud (we didn't mind that but they could have sat us at a table away from them) $400+ is not a cheap meal and we certainly did not expect that kind of sitting in a restaurant that was empty. Service was slow and painful. Appetizers were not brought first but with the salad course. First impressions are important. Food was good but your wait staff is not.

At first we we're baffled by the combination of fine dining and sports bar. By the end of our dinner, though, we realized what a great idea it was.
The sports bar didn't infringe on our fine dining experience in the least.
Our server, Katie, was very attentive and helpful in all aspects of our meal from appetizers to dessert.

I travel 260 days a year. I eat out as much as anyone unfortunately. But today I was literally blown away. Beyond your extraordinary food and beyond the wine list that I must admit rivals any restaurant in America your service made me feel like Bill Murray in Groundhog day on the day that he gets it right. I felt like I had been coming to a little family owned restaurant in the village for 30 years. I was treated like a diamond medallion flyer. My hat is off to you Winery. You are my home, my Cheers my place of respite. Food, wine, and spirit of the employees deserves 3 Michelin Stars. Thank you, Phillip

Very good food and service. Excellent menu. It was a little noisy and I was disappointed in the drinks. For a restaurant that commands $40-$60 per a la carte plate to limit a drink on the rocks to lots ice and barely a jigger of booze is poor. Fine restaurants are generous with the pour.
